1 சாமுவேல் 30

1 ௧ தாவீதும் அவனுடைய மனிதர்களும் மூன்றாம் நாளிலே, சிக்லாகுக்கு வந்து சேருவதற்குள்ளே, அமலேக்கியர்கள் தென்புறத்துச் சீமையின்மேலும் சிக்லாகின்மேலும் விழுந்து, சிக்லாகைக் கொள்ளையடித்து, அதை அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரித்து,

and to be in/on/with to come (in): come David and human his Ziklag in/on/with day [the] third and Amalekite to strip to(wards) Negeb and to(wards) Ziklag and to smite [obj] Ziklag and to burn [obj] her in/on/with fire

2 ௨ அதிலிருந்த பெண்களையும், சிறியவர்களையும் பெரியவர்களையும் சிறைபிடித்து, ஒருவரையும் கொன்றுபோடாமல், அவர்களைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு, தங்களுடைய வழியே போய்விட்டார்கள்.

3 ௩ தாவீதும் அவனுடைய மனிதர்களும் அந்தப் பட்டணத்திற்கு வந்தபோது, இதோ, அது அக்கினியினால் சுட்டெரிக்கப்பட்டது என்றும், தங்களுடைய மனைவிகளும் தங்களுடைய மகன்களும் தங்களுடைய மகள்களும் சிறைபிடித்துக்கொண்டுபோகப்பட்டார்கள் என்றும் கண்டார்கள்.

4 ௪ அப்பொழுது தாவீதும் அவனோடு இருந்த மக்களும் அழுகிறதற்குத் தங்களில் பெலனில்லாமல் போகும் வரை சத்தமிட்டு அழுதார்கள்.

and to lift: loud David and [the] people which with him [obj] voice their and to weep till which nothing in/on/with them strength to/for to weep

5 ௫ தாவீதின் இரண்டு மனைவிகளாகிய யெஸ்ரயேல் ஊராளான அகினோவாமும், கர்மேல் ஊராளான நாபாலின் மனைவியாக இருந்த அபிகாயிலும், சிறைபிடித்துக்கொண்டுபோகப்பட்டார்கள்.

6 ௬ தாவீது மிகவும் நெருக்கப்பட்டான்; எல்லா மக்களும் தங்கள் மகன்கள், மகள்களினிமித்தம் மனவருத்தமானதால், அவனைக் கல்லெறியவேண்டும் என்று சொல்லிக்கொண்டார்கள்; தாவீது தன்னுடைய தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவுக்குள்ளே தன்னைத் திடப்படுத்திக்கொண்டான்.

7 ௭ தாவீது அகிமெலேக்கின் மகனான அபியத்தார் என்னும் ஆசாரியனை நோக்கி: ஏபோத்தை என்னிடத்தில் கொண்டுவா என்றான்; அபியத்தார் ஏபோத்தைத் தாவீதினிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்தான்.

8 ௮ தாவீது யெகோவாவை நோக்கி: நான் அந்தப் படையைப் பின்தொடரவேண்டுமா? அதைப் பிடிப்பேனா? என்று கேட்டான். அதற்கு அவர்: அதைப் பின்தொடர்ந்து போ; அதை நீ பிடித்து, எல்லாவற்றையும் திருப்பிக்கொள்வாய் என்றார்.

9 ௯ அப்பொழுது தாவீதும் அவனோடு இருந்த 600 பேரும் போனார்கள்; அவர்கள் பேசோர் ஆற்றின் அருகில் வந்தபோது அங்கே சிலர் நின்றுபோனார்கள்.

10 ௧0 தாவீதோ, 400 பேரோடுத் தொடர்ந்து போனான்; 200 பேர் களைத்துப்போனபடியால் பேசோர் ஆற்றைக் கடக்கமுடியாமல் நின்றுபோனார்கள்.

11 ௧௧ ஒரு எகிப்தியனை வெளியில் அவர்கள் கண்டு, அவனைத் தாவீதினிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்து, சாப்பிட அவனுக்கு அப்பமும் குடிக்கத் தண்ணீரும் கொடுத்து,

12 ௧௨ அத்திப்பழ அடையின் ஒரு துண்டையும், உலர்ந்த இரண்டு திராட்சைப்பழக் குலைகளையும் அவனுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; அதை அவன் சாப்பிட்டபின்பு, அவனுடைய உயிர் திரும்ப அவனுக்குள் வந்தது. அவன் இரவு பகல் மூன்று நாளாக அப்பம் சாப்பிடாமலும் தண்ணீர் குடிக்காமலும் இருந்தான்.

13 ௧௩ தாவீது அவனை நோக்கி: நீ யாருடையவன்? நீ எந்த இடத்தை சேர்ந்தவன் என்று கேட்டதற்கு, அவன்: நான் ஒரு அமலேக்கியனுடைய வேலைக்காரனாகிய எகிப்து தேசத்துப் வாலிபன்; மூன்று நாளைக்குமுன்பு நான் வியாதிப்பட்டபோது, என்னுடைய எஜமான் என்னைக் கைவிட்டான்.

14 ௧௪ நாங்கள் கிரேத்தியருடைய தென்புறத்தின்மேலும், யூதாவைச்சார்ந்த எல்லையின்மேலும், காலேபுடைய தென்புறத்தின்மேலும், படையெடுத்துப்போய் சிக்லாகை அக்கினியினால் சுட்டெரித்துப் போட்டோம் என்றான்.

15 ௧௫ தாவீது அவனை பார்த்து: நீ என்னை அந்த படையினிடத்திற்குக் கொண்டுபோவாயா என்று கேட்டதற்கு: அவன், நீர் என்னைக் கொன்றுபோடுவதுமில்லை, என்னை என்னுடைய எஜமான் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பதுமில்லை என்று தேவன்மேல் ஆணையிடுவீரானால், உம்மை அந்தத் படையினிடத்திற்குக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டுபோவேன் என்றான்.

16 ௧௬ இவன் அவனைக் கொண்டுபோய்விட்டபோது, இதோ, அவர்கள் வெளியெங்கும் பரவி, சாப்பிட்டுக் குடித்து, தாங்கள் பெலிஸ்தர்கள் தேசத்திலும் யூதாதேசத்திலும் கொள்ளையிட்டு வந்த மகா பெரிதான அந்த எல்லாக் கொள்ளைக்காகவும் ஆடிப்பாடிக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.

17 ௧௭ அவர்களைத் தாவீது அன்று மாலைதொடங்கி மறுநாள் மாலை வரை முறியடித்தான்; ஒட்டகங்கள் மேல் ஏறி ஓடிப்போன 400 வாலிபர்கள் தவிர, அவர்களில் வேறொருவரும் தப்பவில்லை.

19 ௧௯ அவர்கள் கொள்ளையடித்துக்கொண்டுபோன எல்லாவற்றிலும், சிறியதிலும், பெரியதிலும், மகன்களிலும், மகள்களிலும், ஒன்றும் குறையாமல் எல்லாவற்றையும் தாவீது திருப்பிக்கொண்டான்.

20 ௨0 எல்லா ஆடுமாடுகளையும் தாவீது பிடித்துக்கொண்டான்; அவைகளைத் தங்கள் மிருகஜீவன்களுக்கு முன்னாலே ஓட்டி, இது தாவீதின் கொள்ளை என்றார்கள்.

22 ௨௨ அப்பொழுது தாவீதோடு நடந்து வந்த மனிதர்களில் துன்மார்க்கர்களும், பயனற்ற மக்களுமான எல்லோரும்: அவர்கள் எங்களோடே வராதபடியால் நாங்கள் திருப்பிக்கொண்ட கொள்ளையுடமைகளில் அவர்களுக்கு ஒன்றும் கொடுப்பதில்லை; அவர்களில் ஒவ்வொருவனும் தன்தன் மனைவியையும் தன்தன் பிள்ளைகளையுமே அழைத்துக்கொண்டு போகட்டும் என்றார்கள்.

23 ௨௩ அதற்குத் தாவீது: என்னுடைய சகோதரர்களே, யெகோவா நமக்கு கொடுத்ததை நீங்கள் இப்படிச் செய்யவேண்டாம்; யெகோவா நம்மைக் காப்பாற்றி, நமக்கு விரோதமாக வந்திருந்த அந்தப் படையை நம்முடைய கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தார்.

24 ௨௪ இந்தக் காரியத்தில் உங்கள் சொல் கேட்க யார் சம்மதிப்பான்? யுத்தத்திற்குப் போனவர்களின் பங்கு எவ்வளவோ, அந்த அளவில் பொருட்களின் அருகே இருந்தவர்களுக்கும் பங்கு கிடைக்கவேண்டும்; சரிபங்காகப் பங்கிடுவார்களாக என்றான்.

26 ௨௬ தாவீது சிக்லாகுக்கு வந்தபோது, அவன் கொள்ளையடித்தவைகளிலே தன்னுடைய நண்பர்களாகிய யூதாவின் மூப்பர்களுக்குச் சிலவற்றை அனுப்பி: இதோ, யெகோவாவுடைய எதிரிகளின் கொள்ளையில் உங்களுக்கு உண்டாயிருக்கும் ஆசீர்வாதபாகம் என்று சொல்லச் சொன்னான்.

27 ௨௭ யார் யாருக்கு அனுப்பினான் என்றால், பெத்தேலில் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும், தெற்கான ராமோத்தில் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும், யாத்தீரில் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும்,

28 ௨௮ ஆரோவேரில் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும், சிப்மோத்தில் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும், எஸ்தேமோகாவில் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும்,

and to/for which in/on/with Aroer and to/for which in/on/with Siphmoth and to/for which in/on/with Eshtemoa

29 ௨௯ ராக்காலில் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும், யெராமியேலியர்களின் பட்டணங்களில் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும், கேனியர்களின் பட்டணங்களில் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும்,

and to/for which in/on/with Racal and to/for which in/on/with city [the] Jerahmeelite and to/for which in/on/with city [the] Kenite

30 ௩0 ஓர்மாவில் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும், கொராசானில் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும், ஆற்றாகில் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும்,

and to/for which in/on/with Hormah and to/for which in/on/with Bor-ashan Bor-ashan and to/for which (in/on/with Athach *LA(bh)*)

31 ௩௧ எப்ரோனில் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும், தாவீதும் அவனுடைய மனிதர்களும் நடமாடின எல்லா இடங்களில் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கும் அனுப்பினான்.
