1 ௧ இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட 480 வருடத்திலும், சாலொமோன் இஸ்ரவேலின்மேல் ராஜாவான நான்காம் வருடம் சீப் மாதமாகிய இரண்டாம் மாதத்திலும், அவன் யெகோவாவின் ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டத்தொடங்கினான்.
Then it happened that, in the four hundred and eightieth year after the sons of Israel departed from the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of the reign of Solomon over Israel, in the month of Ziv, which is the second month, the house of the Lord began to be built.
2 ௨ சாலொமோன் ராஜா யெகோவாவுக்குக் கட்டின ஆலயம் 90 அடி நீளமும், 30 அடி அகலமும், 45 அடி உயரமுமாக இருந்தது.
Now the house, which king Solomon was building to the Lord, was sixty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in width, and thirty cubits in height.
3 ௩ ஆலயமாகிய அந்த மாளிகையின் முகப்பிலே அவன் கட்டின மண்டபம் ஆலயத்தின் அகலத்திற்குச் சமமாக 30 அடி நீளமும், ஆலயத்திற்கு முன்னே 15 அடி அகலமுமாக இருந்தது.
And a portico was before the temple, of twenty cubits in length, in accord with the measure of the width of the temple. And it had ten cubits of width before the face of the temple.
And he made oblique windows in the temple.
5 ௫ அவன் தேவாலயத்தின் சுவரும் சந்நிதி இடச்சுவருமாகிய ஆலயத்தின் சுவர்களுக்கு அடுத்ததாய்ச் சுற்றுச்சுவரைக் கட்டி, அவைகளில் அறைகளைச் சுற்றிலும் உண்டாக்கினான்.
And upon the wall of the temple, he built panels on all sides, in the walls of the house around the temple and the oracle. And he made side chambers all around.
6 ௬ கீழே இருக்கிற சுற்றுச்சுவர் 7.6 அடி அகலமும், நடுவே இருக்கிறது 9 அடி அகலமும், மூன்றாவதாக இருக்கிறது 10.6 அடி அகலமுமாக இருந்தது; அவைகள் ஆலயத்தினுடைய விட்டத்தினாலே தாங்காதபடி ஆலயத்தைச் சுற்றிலும் வெளிப்புறமாக ஒட்டுச்சுவர்களைக் கட்டினான்.
The flooring on the bottom level held five cubits in width, and the middle floor was six cubits in width, and the third floor held seven cubits in width. Then he positioned beams on the house all around the outside, in such a way that they would not be fastened to the walls of the temple.
7 ௭ ஆலயம் கட்டப்படும்போது, அது வேலைசெய்யப்பட்டு கொண்டுவரப்பட்ட கற்களாலே கட்டப்பட்டது; ஆகையால் அது கட்டப்படுகிறபோது, சுத்திகள் கோடரிகள் முதலான எந்த இரும்பு ஆயுதங்களின் சத்தமும் அதிலே கேட்கப்படவில்லை.
Now the house, while it was being built, was made from cut and finished stones. And so, neither mallet, nor chisel, nor any tool of iron was heard in the house while it was being built.
8 ௮ நடு அறைகளுக்குப் போகிற வாசற்படி ஆலயத்தின் வலதுபுறத்தில் இருந்தது; சுழற்படிகளால் நடு அறைகளுக்கும், நடு அறைகளிலிருந்து மூன்றாவது அறைகளுக்கும் ஏறுவார்கள்.
The door at the side of the middle section was to the right of the house. And they would ascend along winding stairs to the middle level, and from the middle level to the third level.
9 ௯ இவ்விதமாக அவன் ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டி, கேதுரு மர உத்திரங்களாலும் பலகைகளாலும் ஆலயத்தை மூடி ஆலயப்பணியை முடித்தான்.
And he built the house, and finished it. And he overlaid the house with boards of cedar.
10 ௧0 அவன் 7.6 அடி உயரமான சுற்றுக்கட்டுகளை ஆலயத்தின்மேலெங்கும் கட்டினான்; அவைகள் கேதுரு மரங்களால் ஆலயத்தோடு இணைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது.
And he built a paneling over the entire house, five cubits in height, and he covered the house with cedar wood.
And the word of the Lord came to Solomon, saying:
12 ௧௨ நீ என்னுடைய கட்டளைகளின்படி நடந்து, என்னுடைய நீதி நியாயங்களை நிறைவேற்றி, என்னுடைய கற்பனைகளின்படியெல்லாம் நடந்துகொள்ளும்படி, அவைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டால், நீ கட்டுகிற இந்த ஆலயத்தைக்குறித்து நான் உன்னுடைய தகப்பனாகிய தாவீதோடு சொன்ன என்னுடைய வார்த்தையை உன்னிடத்தில் நிறைவேற்றி,
“Concerning this house, which you are building: if you will walk in my precepts, and carry out my judgments, and keep all my commandments, advancing by them, I will confirm my word to you, which I spoke to your father David.
And I will dwell in the midst of the sons of Israel, and I will not forsake my people Israel.”
And so, Solomon built the house, and finished it.
15 ௧௫ ஆலயத்துச் சுவர்களின் உட்புறத்தை, தரை துவங்கி சுவர்களின் மேற்கூரைவரை, கேதுரு பலகைகளால் மூடி, இப்படி உட்புறத்தை மரவேலையால் செய்து, ஆலயத்தின் தரையை தேவதாரு மரங்களின் பலகைகளால் தரையை மூடினான்.
And he built the walls of the house, on the interior, with panels of cedar, from the floor of the house, to the top of the walls, and even to the ceiling. He covered it with cedar wood on the interior. And he overlaid the floor of the house with panels of spruce.
16 ௧௬ மூடப்பட்ட தரைதுவங்கி சுவர்களின் மேற்கூரைவரை ஆலயத்தின் பக்கங்களைத் தொட்டிருக்கிற 30 அடி நீளமான மறைப்பையும் கேதுரு பலகைகளால் செய்து, உட்புறத்தை மகா பரிசுத்தமான சந்நிதியினிடமாகக் கட்டினான்.
And he built panels of cedar, of twenty cubits, at the back part of the temple, from the floor even to the top. And he made the inner house of the oracle as the Holy of Holies.
And the temple itself, before the doors of the oracle, was forty cubits.
18 ௧௮ ஆலயத்திற்குள் இருக்கிற கேதுரு மரங்களில் மொக்குகளும் மலர்ந்த பூக்களுமான சித்திரவேலை செய்திருந்தது; பார்வைக்கு ஒரு கல்கூட காணப்படாமல் எல்லாம் கேதுரு மரமாக இருந்தது.
And the entire house was clothed with cedar on the interior, having its turnings and junctures artfully wrought, with carvings projecting outward. Everything was clothed with panels of cedar. And no stone at all was able to be seen in the wall.
19 ௧௯ யெகோவாவுடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியை வைப்பதற்கு ஆலயத்திற்குள்ளே மகா பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தினான்.
Now he made the oracle in the middle of the house, in the inner part, so that he might station the ark of the covenant of the Lord there.
20 ௨0 மகா பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலம் முன்புறம்வரை 30 அடி நீளமும், 30 அடி அகலமும், 30 அடி உயரமுமாக இருந்தது; அதைப் பசும்பொன்தகட்டால் மூடினான்; கேதுருமரப் பலிபீடத்தையும் அப்படியே மூடினான்.
And the oracle held twenty cubits in length, and twenty cubits in width, and twenty cubits in height. And he covered and clothed it with the purest gold. Then, too, he clothed the altar in cedar.
21 ௨௧ ஆலயத்தின் உட்புறத்தை சாலொமோன் பசும்பொன்தகட்டால் மூடி, மகா பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் மறைப்புக்கும் பொன்சங்கிலிகளைக் குறுக்கே போட்டு, அதைப் பொன்தகட்டால் மூடினான்.
Also, the house before the oracle, he covered with the purest gold, and he fastened the plates with nails of gold.
22 ௨௨ இப்படி ஆலயம் முழுவதும் கட்டிமுடியும்வரை, அவன் ஆலயம் முழுவதையும் பொன்தகட்டால் மூடி, மகா பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திற்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிற பலிபீடத்தை முழுவதும் பொன்தகட்டால் மூடினான்.
And there was nothing in the temple that was not covered with gold. Moreover, the entire altar of the oracle he overlaid with gold.
23 ௨௩ மகா பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தில் ஒலிவமரங்களால் இரண்டு கேருபீன்களைச் செய்து வைத்தான்; ஒவ்வொன்றும் 15 அடி உயரமுமாக இருந்தது.
And he made in the oracle two cherubim from wood of the olive tree, of ten cubits in height.
24 ௨௪ கேருபீனுக்கு இருக்கிற ஒரு இறக்கை 7.6 அடி கேருபீனின் மற்ற இறக்கை 7.6 அடியாக, இப்படி ஒரு இறக்கையின் கடைசிமுனை தொடங்கி மற்ற இறக்கையின் கடைசி முனைவரை 15 அடியாக இருந்தது.
One wing of a cherub was five cubits, and the other wing of a cherub was five cubits, that is, having ten cubits from the summit of one wing even to the summit of the other wing.
25 ௨௫ மற்றக் கேருபீனும் 15 அடியாக இருந்தது; இரண்டு கேருபீன்களும் ஒரே அளவும் ஒரே திட்டமுமாக இருந்தது.
Likewise, the second cherub was ten cubits. And the measure was equal and the work was one, in the two cherubim,
that is, one cherub had a height of ten cubits, and similarly the second cherub.
27 ௨௭ அந்தக் கேருபீன்களை உள் ஆலயத்திலே வைத்தான்; கேருபீன்களின் இறக்கைகள் விரித்திருந்ததால், ஒரு கேருபீனின் இறக்கை ஒரு பக்கத்துச்சுவரிலும், மற்றக் கேருபீனின் இறக்கை மறுபக்கத்துச் சுவரிலும் தொடும்படியிருந்தது; ஆலயத்தின் நடுமையத்தில், அவைகளின் இறக்கைகள் ஒன்றோடொன்று தொடத்தக்கதாயிருந்தது.
And he stationed the cherubim in the middle of the inner temple. And the cherubim extended their wings, and the wing of the one was touching the wall, and the wing of the second cherub was touching the other wall. But the other wings, in the middle of the temple, were touching each another.
He also overlaid the cherubim with gold.
29 ௨௯ ஆலயத்தின் சுவர்களையெல்லாம் அவன் சுற்றிலும் உள்ளேயும் வெளியேயுமாகக் கேருபீன்களும் பனை மரங்களும் மலர்ந்த பூக்களுமான சித்திரங்களும் கொத்து வேலைகளுமாக்கினான்.
And all the walls of the temple all around he engraved with diverse carvings and turnings. And he made in them cherubim, and palm trees, and various images, as if these were projecting out, and going forth from, the wall.
Then, too, the floor of the house he overlaid with gold within and without.
31 ௩௧ மகா பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் வாசலுக்கு ஒலிவமரங்களால் இரட்டைக் கதவுகளைச் செய்தான்; மேல்சட்டமும் நிலைகளும் மறைப்பின் அளவில் ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்காக இருந்தது.
And at the entrance of the oracle, he made little doors, from wood of the olive tree, with posts of five corners.
32 ௩௨ ஒலிவமரமான அந்த இரட்டைக் கதவுகளில் அவன் கேருபீன்களும் பனை மரங்களும் மலர்ந்த பூக்களுமான சித்திரங்களைச் செய்து, அந்தக் கேருபீன்களிலும் பனை மரங்களிலும் பொன்பதியத்தக்கதாகப் பொன்தகட்டால் மூடினான்.
And there were two doors, from wood of the olive tree. And he carved upon them pictures of cherubim, and images of palm trees, and very prominent figures. And he overlaid these with gold. And he covered the cherubim, as well as the palm trees and the other things, with gold.
33 ௩௩ இப்படி தேவாலயத்தின் வாசலுக்கும் ஒலிவமர நிலைக்கால்களைச் செய்தான்; அது சுவர் அளவில் நான்கு பக்கமும் ஒரே அளவு சதுரமாக இருந்தது.
And he made, at the entrance of the temple, posts from wood of the olive tree, with four corners,
34 ௩௪ அதின் இரண்டு கதவுகளும் தேவதாருப் பலகைகளால் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்தது; ஒரு கதவுக்கு இரண்டு மடிப்புப் பலகைகளும், மற்றக் கதவுக்கு இரண்டு மடிப்புப் பலகைகளும் இருந்தது.
and two doors, from wood of the spruce tree, on the other side. And each door was double, and so it opened by folding upon itself.
35 ௩௫ அவைகளில் கேருபீன்களும் பனை மரங்களும் மலர்ந்த பூக்களுமான சித்திர வேலையைச் செய்து, சித்திரங்களுக்குச் சமமாகச் செய்யப்பட்ட பொன்தகட்டால் அவைகளை மூடினான்.
And he carved cherubim, and palm trees, and very prominent engravings. And he covered everything with gold plates, worked to be perfectly square.
And he built the inner atrium with three rows of polished stones, and one row of cedar wood.
In the fourth year, the house of the Lord was founded, in the month of Ziv.
38 ௩௮ 11 வது வருடம் பூல் என்னும் 8 வது மாதத்திலே, அந்த ஆலயம்முழுவதும் எல்லா சட்டதிட்டத்தின்படியே ஒருபங்கும் குறையாமல் கட்டி முடிந்தது; அவன் அதைக் கட்டிமுடிக்க 7 வருடங்கள் ஆனது.
And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, the house was perfected in all its works and in all its equipment. And he built it for seven years.
