1 யோவான் 5
1 ௧ இயேசுவானவரே கிறிஸ்து என்று விசுவாசிக்கிற எவனும் தேவனால் பிறந்திருக்கிறான்; பிறக்கச்செய்தவரிடம் அன்பு செலுத்துகிற எவனும் அவரால் பிறந்தவனிடமும் அன்பு செலுத்துகிறான்.
Whosoever believeth that, Jesus, is the Christ, of God, hath been born: and, whosoever loveth him that begat, loveth him that hath been begotten of him.
2 ௨ நாம் தேவனிடத்தில் அன்புசெலுத்தி அவருடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கடைப்பிடிக்கும்போது, தேவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளிடத்தில் அன்பு செலுத்துகிறோம் என்று அறிந்துகொள்ளுகிறோம்.
Hereby, perceive we, that we love the children of God, as soon as, God, we love, and, his commandments, we are doing.
3 ௩ தேவனிடத்தில் அன்புகூறுவது என்பது அவருடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கடைபிடிப்பதே ஆகும்; அவருடைய கட்டளைகள் பாரமானவைகளும் இல்லை.
For, this is the love of God—that, his commandments, we be keeping, and, his commandments, are not burdensome;
Because, whatsoever hath been born of God, overcometh the world; and, this, is the victory that hath overcome the world—our faith.
[And] who is he that overcometh the world, save he that believeth that, Jesus, is the Son of God?
6 ௬ இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவாகிய இவரே தண்ணீரினாலும் இரத்தத்தினாலும் வந்தவர்; தண்ணீரினாலே மாத்திரமல்ல, தண்ணீரினாலும் இரத்தத்தினாலும் வந்தவர். ஆவியானவர் சத்தியமாக இருப்பதினால், ஆவியானவரே சாட்சிகொடுக்கிறவர்.
This, is he that came through means of water and blood, Jesus Christ: not, by the water, only, but, by the water and by the blood, —and, the Spirit, it is, that is bearing witness, because, the Spirit, is the truth.
7 ௭ பரலோகத்திலே சாட்சியிடுகிறவர்கள் மூவர், பிதா, வார்த்தை, பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவர் என்பவர்களே, இந்த மூவரும் ஒன்றாக இருக்கிறார்கள்;
Because, three, are they who are bearing witness—
8 ௮ பூலோகத்திலே சாட்சியிடுகிறவைகள் மூன்று, ஆவி, தண்ணீர், இரத்தம் என்பவைகளே, இம்மூன்றும் ஒருமைப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
The Spirit, and the Water, and the Blood; and, the three, are, [witnesses], unto one thing.
9 ௯ நாம் மனிதனுடைய சாட்சியை ஏற்றுக்கொள்கிறோம். அதைவிட தேவனுடைய சாட்சி மேன்மையாக இருக்கிறது; தேவன் தமது குமாரனைக்குறித்துக் கொடுத்த சாட்சி இதுவே.
If, the witness of men, we receive, the witness of God, is, greater. Because, this, is the witness of God—in that he hath borne witness concerning his Son, —
10 ௧0 தேவனுடைய குமாரனிடத்தில் விசுவாசமாக இருக்கிறவன் அந்தச் சாட்சியைத் தனக்குள்ளே பெற்றிருக்கிறான்; தேவனை விசுவாசிக்காதவனோ, தேவன் தம்முடைய குமாரனைக்குறித்துக் கொடுத்த சாட்சியை விசுவாசிக்காததினால், அவரைப் பொய்யராக்குகிறான்.
He that believeth on the Son of God, hath the witness, within himself: He that doth not believe God, false, hath made him, —because he hath not believed on the witness which, God, hath witnessed, concerning his Son—
11 ௧௧ தேவன் நமக்கு நித்தியஜீவனைத் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார், அந்த ஜீவன் அவருடைய குமாரனில் இருக்கிறதென்பதே அந்தச் சாட்சி ஆகும். (aiōnios g166)
And, this, is the witness: —that, life age-abiding, hath God given unto us, and, this life, is, in his Son: (aiōnios g166)
He that hath the Son, hath, the life, —he that hath not the Son of God, hath not, the life.
13 ௧௩ உங்களுக்கு நித்தியஜீவன் உண்டென்று நீங்கள் அறியவும், தேவகுமாரனுடைய நாமத்தின்மேல் நீங்கள் விசுவாசமாக இருக்கவும், தேவகுமாரனுடைய நாமத்தின்மேல் விசுவாசமாக இருக்கிற உங்களுக்கு இவைகளை எழுதியிருக்கிறேன். (aiōnios g166)
These things, have I written unto you—in order that ye may know that ye have, Life Age-abiding—unto you who believe on the name of the Son of God. (aiōnios g166)
14 ௧௪ நாம் எதையாவது அவருடைய விருப்பத்தின்படி கேட்டால், அவர் நமக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறார் என்பதே அவரைப்பற்றி நாம் அறிந்திருக்கிற நம்பிக்கை.
And, this, is the boldness which we have towards him: that, if, anything, we ask, according to his will, He doth hearken unto us.
15 ௧௫ நாம் எதைக்கேட்டாலும், அவர் நமக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறார் என்று நாம் அறிந்திருந்தோமானால், அவரிடத்தில் நாம் கேட்டவைகளைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டோமென்றும் அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்.
And, if we know that he doth hearken unto us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the things asked, which we have asked of him,
16 ௧௬ மரணத்திற்குரியதாக இல்லாத பாவத்தைத் தன் சகோதரன் செய்வதை ஒருவன் பார்த்தால், அவன் ஜெபம் செய்யவேண்டும், அப்பொழுது அவனுக்கு ஜீவனைக் கொடுப்பார்; யாருக்கென்றால், மரணத்திற்குரியதாக இல்லாத பாவத்தைச் செய்தவர்களுக்கே; மரணத்திற்குரியதான பாவமும் உண்டு, அதைக்குறித்து ஜெபம்செய்ய நான் சொல்வதில்லை.
If one should see his brother committing a sin, not unto death, he shall ask, and He will grant unto him life, —for them who are sinning, not unto death. There, is, a sin, unto death: not concerning that, am I saying, that he should make request.
All unrighteousness, is, sin, and there, is, a sin, not unto death.
18 ௧௮ தேவனால் பிறந்த எவனும் பாவம் செய்யமாட்டான் என்று அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்; தேவனால் பிறந்தவனை தேவன் தீமையிலிருந்து காக்கிறார், சாத்தான் அவனைத் தொடமாட்டான்.
We know that, whosoever hath been born of God, is not committing sin, —Nay, he that hath been born of God, He keepeth him, and, the wicked one, doth not touch him.
19 ௧௯ நாம் தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறோம் என்றும், உலகம் முழுவதும் சாத்தானுக்குள் இருக்கிறது என்றும் அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்.
We know that, of God, are we; and, the whole world, in the wicked one, is lying.
20 ௨0 அன்றியும், நாம் சத்தியமுள்ளவரை அறிந்துகொள்வதற்கு தேவனுடைய குமாரன் வந்து நமக்கு புத்தியைக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார் என்றும் அறிவோம்; அவருடைய குமாரனாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்து என்னப்பட்ட சத்தியமுள்ளவருக்குள்ளும் இருக்கிறோம்; இவரே மெய்யான தேவனும் நித்தியஜீவனுமாக இருக்கிறார். (aiōnios g166)
We know, moreover, that, the Son of God, hath come, and hath given us insight, so that we are getting to understand, him that is Real, —and we are in him that is Real, in his Son Jesus Christ. This, is the Real God, and life age-abiding. (aiōnios g166)
Dear children! Guard yourselves from idols.
