1 யோவான் 4
1 ௧ பிரியமானவர்களே, உலகத்தில் அநேக கள்ளத்தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் தோன்றியிருப்பதினால், நீங்கள் எல்லா ஆவிகளையும் நம்பாமல், அந்த ஆவிகள் தேவனால் உண்டானவைகளோ என்று சோதித்துப்பாருங்கள்.
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits if they are of God: because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2 ௨ தேவ ஆவியை நீங்கள் எதினாலே அறியலாம் என்றால்: சரீரத்தில் வந்த இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை அறிக்கை செய்கிற எந்த ஆவியும் தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது.
In this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God:
3 ௩ சரீரத்தில் வந்த இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை அறிக்கை செய்யாத எந்த ஆவியும் தேவனால் உண்டானதல்ல; வருமென்று நீங்கள் கேள்விப்பட்ட அந்திக்கிறிஸ்துவினுடைய ஆவி அதுவே, அது இப்பொழுதும் உலகத்தில் இருக்கிறது.
and every spirit which does not confess Jesus is not of God: and this is the spirit of antichrist, which you have heard that he is coming; and now he is already in the world.
4 ௪ பிள்ளைகளே, நீங்கள் தேவனால் உண்டாயிருந்து, அவர்களை வென்றீர்கள்; ஏனென்றால், உலகத்தில் இருக்கிறவனைவிட உங்களுக்குள் இருக்கிறவர் பெரியவர்.
You are of God, little children, and you have conquered them; because he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
5 ௫ அவர்கள் உலகத்திற்குரியவர்கள், ஆகவே, உலகத்திற்குரியவைகளைப் பேசுகிறார்கள், உலகமும் அவர்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கும்.
They are of the world: on this account they speak of the world, and the world hears them.
6 ௬ நாங்கள் தேவனால் உண்டானவர்கள்; தேவனை அறிந்தவன் எங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறான்; தேவனால் உண்டாகாதவன் எங்களுக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கிறதில்லை; இதினாலே சத்திய ஆவி எதுவென்றும் ஏமாற்றும் ஆவி எதுவென்றும் அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்.
We are of God: the one knowing God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. From this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7 ௭ பிரியமானவர்களே, ஒருவரிலொருவர் அன்பாக இருப்போம்; ஏனென்றால், அன்பு தேவனால் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது; அன்புள்ள எவனும் தேவனால் பிறந்து, அவரை அறிந்திருக்கிறான்.
Beloved, let us love one another with divine love: because divine love is of God; and the one loving with divine love has been born of God, and knows God.
The one not loving with divine love does not know God; because God is divine love.
9 ௯ தம்முடைய ஒரேபேறான குமாரனாலே நாம் பிழைக்கும்படிக்கு தேவன் அவரை இந்த உலகத்திற்கு அனுப்பினதினால் தேவன் நம்மேல் வைத்த அன்பு வெளிப்பட்டது.
In this the divine love of God has been made manifest in us, because God has sent his only begotten Son into the world that we may live through him.
10 ௧0 நாம் தேவனிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்ததினால் அல்ல, அவர் நம்மிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்து, நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நிவர்த்தி செய்கிற பாவநிவாரணபலியாகத் தம்முடைய குமாரனை அனுப்பினதினாலே அன்பு உண்டாயிருக்கிறது.
In him is divine love, not because we loved God with divine love, but because he loved us with divine love, and sent his Son an expiation for our sins.
11 ௧௧ பிரியமானவர்களே, தேவன் இவ்விதமாக நம்மிடத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்திருக்க, நாமும் ஒருவரிலொருவர் அன்புகூரக் கடனாளிகளாக இருக்கிறோம்.
Beloved, if God so loved us with divine love, we ought also to love one another with divine love.
12 ௧௨ தேவனை ஒருவரும் ஒருபோதும் கண்டதில்லை; நாம் ஒருவரிலொருவர் அன்புகூர்ந்தால் தேவன் நமக்குள் நிலைத்திருக்கிறார்; அவருடைய அன்பும் நமக்குள் பூரணப்படும்.
No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another with divine love, God abides in us, and his divine love has been made perfect in us.
13 ௧௩ அவர் தம்முடைய ஆவியானவரை நமக்குக் கொடுத்ததினாலே நாம் அவரிலும் அவர் நம்மிலும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறதை அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்.
In this we know that we abide in him, and he in us, because he has given us of his spirit.
And we have seen and we testify that the Father has sent forth his Son the Saviour of the world.
15 ௧௫ இயேசுவானவர் தேவனுடைய குமாரனென்று அறிக்கைசெய்கிறவன் எவனோ அவனில் தேவன் நிலைத்திருக்கிறார், அவனும் தேவனில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறான்.
Whosoever may confess that Jesus is the Son of God, in him God abides, and he in God.
16 ௧௬ தேவன் நம்மேல் வைத்திருக்கிற அன்பை நாம் அறிந்து விசுவாசித்திருக்கிறோம். தேவன் அன்பாகவே இருக்கிறார்; அன்பில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறவன் தேவனில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறான், தேவனும் அவனில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறார்.
And we have known and we have believed the divine love which God has in us. God is divine love; and the one abiding in divine love abides in God, and God abides in him.
17 ௧௭ நியாயத்தீர்ப்புநாளிலே நமக்கு தைரியம் உண்டாயிருக்கத்தக்கதாக அன்பு நம்மிடத்தில் பூரணப்படுகிறது; ஏனென்றால், அவர் இருக்கிறபிரகாரமாக நாமும் இந்த உலகத்தில் இருக்கிறோம்.
In this the divine love has been made perfect in us, that we may have boldness in the day of the judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
18 ௧௮ அன்பிலே பயமில்லை; பூரண அன்பு பயத்தை வெளியே தள்ளும்; பயமானது வேதனையுள்ளது, பயப்படுகிறவன் அன்பில் பூரணப்பட்டவன் இல்லை.
There is no fear in divine love; but perfect divine love casts out the fear: because the fear has torment; and the one fearing has not been made perfect in the divine love.
Let us love with divine love, because he himself first loved us with divine love.
20 ௨0 தேவனிடத்தில் அன்பு கூருகிறேனென்று ஒருவன் சொல்லியும், தன் சகோதரனைப் பகைத்தால், அவன் பொய்யன்; தான் கண்ட சகோதரனிடத்தில் அன்பு கூராமலிருக்கிறவன், தான் காணாத தேவனிடத்தில் எப்படி அன்பு செலுத்துவான்?
If any one may say, I love God with divine love, and may hate his brother, he is a liar: for the one not loving his brother whom he has seen, with divine love, is not able to love God, whom he has not seen, with divine love.
21 ௨௧ தேவனிடத்தில் அன்புசெலுத்துகிறவன் தன் சகோதரனிடத்திலும் அன்புகூரவேண்டுமென்கிற இந்தக் கட்டளையை அவராலே பெற்றிருக்கிறோம்.
And we have this precept from him, that the one loving God with divine love also loves his brother with divine love.
