1 யோவான் 2
1 ௧ என் பிள்ளைகளே, நீங்கள் பாவம் செய்யாதபடிக்கு இவைகளை உங்களுக்கு எழுதுகிறேன்; ஒருவன் பாவம் செய்தால் நீதிபரராக இருக்கிற இயேசுகிறிஸ்து நமக்காகப் பிதாவினிடத்தில் பரிந்து பேசுகிறவராக இருக்கிறார்.
My little children, I write these things unto you, that ye may not sin. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
2 ௨ நம்முடைய பாவங்களை நிவர்த்தி செய்கிற பாவநிவாரணபலி அவரே; நம்முடைய பாவங்களைமட்டும் அல்ல, முழு உலகத்தின் பாவங்களையும் நிவர்த்தி செய்கிற பலியாக இருக்கிறார்.
And He is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3 ௩ அவருடைய கட்டளைகளை நாம் கடைபிடிக்கிறவர்களாக இருப்போமானால், அவரை அறிந்திருக்கிறோம் என்பதை அதினால் அறிவோம்.
And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep his commandments.
4 ௪ அவரை அறிந்திருக்கிறேன் என்று சொல்லியும், அவருடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கடைப்பிடிக்காதவன் பொய்யனாக இருக்கிறான், அவனுக்குள் சத்தியம் இல்லை.
He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 ௫ அவருடைய வசனத்தைக் கடைபிடிக்கிறவனிடத்தில் தேவ அன்பு உண்மையாகவே பூரணப்பட்டிருக்கும்; நாம் அவருக்குள் இருக்கிறோம் என்பதை அதினாலே அறிந்திருக்கிறோம்.
But whosoever keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: and by this we know that we are in Him.
He that saith, he abideth in Him, ought himself also so to walk even as He walked.
7 ௭ சகோதரர்களே, நான் உங்களுக்குப் புதிய கட்டளையை அல்ல, ஆரம்பமுதல் நீங்கள் பெற்றிருக்கிற பழைய கட்டளையையே எழுதுகிறேன்; அந்தப் பழைய கட்டளை நீங்கள் ஆரம்பமுதல் கேட்டிருக்கிற வசனம்தானே.
Brethren, I write not a new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning: the old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning:
8 ௮ மேலும், நான் புதிய கட்டளையையும் உங்களுக்கு எழுதுகிறேன், இது அவருக்குள்ளும் உங்களுக்குள்ளும் உண்மையாக இருக்கிறது; ஏனென்றால், இருள் நீங்கிப்போகிறது, உண்மையான ஒளி இப்பொழுது பிரகாசிக்கிறது.
though I write it again as a new commandment, which is truth in Him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
9 ௯ ஒளியிலே இருக்கிறேன் என்று சொல்லியும் தன் சகோதரனைப் பகைக்கிறவன் இதுவரைக்கும் இருளிலே இருக்கிறான்.
Now he that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is still in darkness:
10 ௧0 தன் சகோதரனிடத்தில் அன்புசெலுத்துகிறவன் ஒளியிலே நிலைத்திருக்கிறான்; அவனிடத்தில் தடுமாற்றம் ஒன்றுமில்லை.
whereas, he that loveth his brother, abideth in the light, and is in no danger of stumbling.
11 ௧௧ தன் சகோதரனைப் பகைக்கிறவன் இருளிலே இருந்து இருளிலே நடக்கிறான்; இருளானது அவன் கண்களைக் குருடாக்கினபடியால் தான் போகும் இடம் எங்கேயென்று தெரியாமல் இருக்கிறான்.
But he, that hateth his brother, is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not where he goeth, because the darkness hath blinded his eyes.
12 ௧௨ பிள்ளைகளே அவருடைய நாமத்தினிமித்தம் உங்களுடைய பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப் பட்டிருக்கிறதினால் உங்களுக்கு எழுதுகிறேன்.
I write unto you, little children, because for his sake your sins are forgiven you:
13 ௧௩ பிதாக்களே, ஆரம்பமுதல் இருக்கிறவரை நீங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறதினால் உங்களுக்கு எழுதுகிறேன். வாலிபர்களே, சாத்தானை நீங்கள் ஜெயித்ததினால் உங்களுக்கு எழுதுகிறேன். பிள்ளைகளே, நீங்கள் பிதாவை அறிந்திருக்கிறதினால் உங்களுக்கு எழுதுகிறேன்.
I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known Him that is from the beginning: and I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. Yea I have written to you, little children, because ye have known the Father:
14 ௧௪ பிதாக்களே, ஆரம்பமுதல் இருக்கிறவரை நீங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறதினால் உங்களுக்கு எழுதியிருக்கிறேன். வாலிபர்களே, நீங்கள் பலவான்களாக இருக்கிறதினாலும், தேவவசனம் உங்களில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறதினாலும், நீங்கள் சாத்தானை ஜெயித்ததினாலும், உங்களுக்கு எழுதியிருக்கிறேன்.
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known Him that is from the beginning: and I have written to you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one---
15 ௧௫ உலகத்தையும் உலகத்தில் உள்ளவைகளையும் நேசிக்காதீர்கள்; ஒருவன் உலகத்தை நேசித்தால் அவனிடம் பிதாவின் அன்பு இல்லை.
Love not the world, nor the things that are in the world; for if any one love the world to excess, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 ௧௬ ஏனென்றால், சரீரத்தின் இச்சையும், கண்களின் இச்சையும், வாழ்க்கையின் பெருமையுமாகிய உலகத்தில் உள்ளவைகளெல்லாம் பிதாவினால் உண்டானவைகள் அல்ல, அவைகள் உலகத்தினால் உண்டானவைகள்.
For all that is in the world, the desire of the flesh, and the desire of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but of the world.
17 ௧௭ உலகமும் அதின் இச்சையும் ஒழிந்துபோகும்; தேவனுடைய விருப்பத்தின்படி செய்கிறவனோ என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைத்திருப்பான். (aiōn g165)
And the world passeth away, and the desire of it: but he, that doth the will of God, abideth for ever. (aiōn g165)
18 ௧௮ பிள்ளைகளே, இது கடைசி காலமாக இருக்கிறது; அந்திக்கிறிஸ்து வருகிறானென்று நீங்கள் கேள்விப்பட்டபடி இப்பொழுதும் அநேக அந்திக்கிறிஸ்துகள் இருக்கிறார்கள்; அதினாலே இது கடைசிக்காலமென்று அறிகிறோம்.
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that an antichrist will come, there are even now many antichrists, whereby we know that it is the last time.
19 ௧௯ அவர்கள் நம்மைவிட்டுப் பிரிந்துபோனார்கள், ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் நம்முடையவர்களாக இருக்கவில்லை; நம்முடையவர்களாக இருந்தார்களானால் நம்முடனே நிலைத்திருப்பார்களே; எல்லோரும் நம்முடையவர்கள் இல்லை என்று வெளிப்படுத்துவதற்காகவே பிரிந்துபோனார்கள்.
They went out from us, but they were not of us: for if they had been indeed of us, they would have continued with us; but this was done that they might be made manifest, because all, that are with us, are not indeed of us.
And ye have an unction from the holy One, and know all.
21 ௨௧ சத்தியத்தை நீங்கள் அறியாததினால் அல்ல, நீங்கள் சத்தியத்தை அறிந்திருக்கிறதினாலும், சத்தியத்தினால் ஒரு பொய்யும் உண்டாகாது என்பதை நீங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறதினாலும், உங்களுக்கு எழுதியிருக்கிறேன்.
I have not therefore written to you, because ye know not the truth; but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
22 ௨௨ இயேசுவைக் கிறிஸ்து இல்லை என்று மறுதலிக்கிறவனேதவிர வேறு யார் பொய்யன்? பிதாவையும் குமாரனையும் மறுதலிக்கிறவனே அந்திக்கிறிஸ்து.
Who is a liar, if not he who denieth that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, that denieth the Father as well as the Son;
23 ௨௩ குமாரனை மறுதலிக்கிறவன் பிதாவை உடையவனல்ல, குமாரனை அறிக்கையிடுகிறவன் பிதாவையும் உடையவனாக இருக்கிறான்.
for whosoever denieth the Son, hath not the Father: but he that confesseth the Son acknowledgeth the Father also.
24 ௨௪ ஆகவே, ஆரம்பமுதல் நீங்கள் கேள்விப்பட்டது உங்களில் நிலைத்திருக்கட்டும்; ஆரம்பமுதல் நீங்கள் கேள்விப்பட்டது உங்களில் நிலைத்திருந்தால், நீங்கள் குமாரனிலும் பிதாவிலும் நிலைத்திருப்பீர்கள்.
Let that therefore, which ye have heard from the beginning, abide in you: for if that, which ye heard from the beginning, remain in you, ye also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
And this is the promise which He hath promised us, even eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
These things have I written unto you concerning those who would seduce you.
27 ௨௭ நீங்கள் அவராலே பெற்ற அபிஷேகம் உங்களில் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது, ஒருவரும் உங்களுக்குப் போதிக்கவேண்டியதில்லை; அந்த அபிஷேகம் எல்லாவற்றையும்குறித்து உங்களுக்குப் போதிக்கிறது; அது சத்தியமாக இருக்கிறது, பொய்யல்ல, அது உங்களுக்குப் போதித்தபடியே அவரில் நிலைத்திருப்பீர்களாக.
But the unction, which ye have received from Him, abideth in you; and therefore ye have no need that any should teach you: since this very unction teacheth you concerning all things, and is truth and not falshood; even as that hath taught you, abide in Him.
28 ௨௮ இப்படியிருக்க, பிள்ளைகளே, அவர் வெளிப்படும்போது நாம் தைரியமுள்ளவர்களாக இருப்பதற்காகவும் அவர் வரும்போது நாம் வெட்கப்பட்டுப்போகாமல் இருக்கவும் அவரில் நிலைத்திருப்போம்.
And now, little children, abide, I say, in Him; that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence, and may not be ashamed before Him at his coming.
29 ௨௯ அவர் நீதியுள்ளவராக இருக்கிறாரென்று உங்களுக்குத் தெரிந்திருப்பதினால், நீதியைச் செய்கிறவன் எவனும் அவரில் பிறந்தவனென்று அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்கள்.
If ye know that He is righteous, ye know that every one, who practiseth righteousness, is born of Him.
