1 கொரிந்தியர் 12
1 ௧ அன்றியும், சகோதரர்களே, ஆவியானவருக்குரிய வரங்களைக்குறித்து நீங்கள் அறியாமலிருக்க எனக்கு மனதில்லை.
But concerning spiritual [manifestations], brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant.
2 ௨ நீங்கள் தேவனை அறியாதவர்களாக இருந்தபோது ஏவப்பட்டபடியே, ஊமையான விக்கிரகங்களிடத்தில் மனதைச் செலுத்தினீர்களென்று உங்களுக்குத் தெரியுமே.
Ye know that when ye were [of the] nations [ye were] led away to dumb idols, in whatever way ye might be led.
3 ௩ ஆதலால், தேவனுடைய ஆவியானவராலே பேசுகிற எவனும் இயேசுவைச் சபிக்கப்பட்டவன் என்று சொல்லமாட்டான் என்றும், பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரைத்தவிர வேறு ஒருவனும் இயேசுவைக் கர்த்தரென்று சொல்லக்கூடாதென்றும், உங்களுக்குத் தெரிவிக்கிறேன்.
I give you therefore to know, that no one, speaking in [the power of the] Spirit of God, says, Curse [on] Jesus; and no one can say, Lord Jesus, unless in [the power of the] Holy Spirit.
But there are distinctions of gifts, but the same Spirit;
and there are distinctions of services, and the same Lord;
6 ௬ கிரியைகளிலேயும் வித்தியாசங்கள் உண்டு, எல்லோருக்குள்ளும் எல்லாவற்றையும் நடப்பிக்கிற தேவன் ஒருவரே.
and there are distinctions of operations, but the same God who operates all things in all.
7 ௭ ஒவ்வொருவனுக்கும் அருளப்பட்ட ஆவியானவரின் வரங்கள் அனைவருடைய பிரயோஜனத்திற்கென்று அளிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
But to each the manifestation of the Spirit is given for profit.
8 ௮ எப்படியென்றால், ஒருவனுக்கு ஆவியானவராலே ஞானத்தைப் போதிக்கும் வசனமும், வேறொருவனுக்கு அந்த ஆவியானவராலேயே அறிவை உணர்த்தும் வசனமும்,
For to one, by the Spirit, is given [the] word of wisdom; and to another [the] word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
9 ௯ வேறொருவனுக்கு அந்த ஆவியானவராலேயே விசுவாசமும், வேறொருவனுக்கு அந்த ஆவியானவராலேயே குணமாக்கும் வரங்களும்,
and to a different one faith, in [the power of] the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healing in [the power of] the same Spirit;
10 ௧0 வேறொருவனுக்கு அற்புதங்களைச் செய்யும் சக்தியும், வேறொருவனுக்குத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் உரைத்தலும், வேறொருவனுக்கு ஆவிகளைப் பகுத்தறிதலும், வேறொருவனுக்குப் பற்பல மொழிகளைப் பேசுதலும், வேறொருவனுக்கு மொழிகளை வியாக்கியானம் செய்தலும் அளிக்கப்படுகிறது.
and to another operations of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to a different one kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues.
11 ௧௧ இவைகளையெல்லாம் அந்த ஒரே ஆவியானவர் நடப்பித்து, தமது விருப்பத்தின்படியே அவனவனுக்குப் பகிர்ந்துகொடுக்கிறார்.
But all these things operates the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each in particular according as he pleases.
12 ௧௨ எப்படியென்றால், சரீரம் ஒன்று, அதற்கு உறுப்புகள் அநேகம்; ஒரே சரீரத்தின் உறுப்புகளெல்லாம் அநேகமாக இருந்தும், சரீரம் ஒன்றாகவே இருக்கிறது; அந்தப்பிரகாரமாகக் கிறிஸ்துவும் இருக்கிறார்.
For even as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also [is] the Christ.
13 ௧௩ நாம் யூதர்களானாலும், கிரேக்கர்களானாலும், அடிமைகளானாலும், சுயாதீனர்களானாலும், எல்லோரும் ஒரே ஆவியானவராலே ஒரே சரீரத்திற்குள்ளாக ஞானஸ்நானம் செய்யப்பட்டு, எல்லோரும் ஒரே ஆவியானவருக்குள்ளாகவே தாகம் தீர்க்கப்பட்டோம்.
For also in [the power of] one Spirit we have all been baptised into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bondmen or free, and have all been given to drink of one Spirit.
For also the body is not one member but many.
15 ௧௫ காலானது நான் கையாக இல்லாதபடியினாலே, நான் சரீரத்தின் உறுப்பு இல்லையென்றால், அதினாலே அது சரீரத்தின் உறுப்பாக இருக்காதோ?
If the foot say, Because I am not a hand I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?
16 ௧௬ காதானது நான் கண்ணாக இல்லாதபடியினாலே, நான் சரீரத்தின் உறுப்பு இல்லையென்றால், அதினாலே அது சரீரத்தின் உறுப்பாக இருக்காதோ?
And if the ear say, Because I am not an eye I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?
17 ௧௭ சரீரம் முழுவதும் கண்ணாக இருந்தால், கேட்கும் திறன் எங்கே? அது முழுவதும் காதாக இருந்தால், மோப்பம் செய்யும் திறன் எங்கே?
If the whole body [were] an eye, where the hearing? if all hearing, where the smelling?
But now God has set the members, each one of them in the body, according as it has pleased [him].
But if all were one member, where the body?
But now the members [are] many, and the body one.
21 ௨௧ கண்ணானது கையைப்பார்த்து: நீ எனக்கு தேவையில்லையென்றும்; தலையானது கால்களைப் பார்த்து: நீங்கள் எனக்குத் தேவையில்லையென்றும் சொல்லமுடியாது.
The eye cannot say to the hand, I have not need of thee; or again, the head to the feet, I have not need of you.
But much rather, the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary;
23 ௨௩ மேலும், சரீர உறுப்புகளில் கனவீனமாகக் காணப்படுகிறவைகளுக்கே அதிக கனத்தைக் கொடுக்கிறோம்; நம்மில் இலட்சணமில்லாதவைகளே அதிக அலங்காரம் பெறும்;
and those [parts] of the body which we esteem to be the more void of honour, these we clothe with more abundant honour; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness;
but our comely [parts] have not need. But God has tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to [the part] that lacked;
25 ௨௫ சரீரத்திலே பிரிவினை உண்டாகாமல், உறுப்புகள் ஒன்றைக்குறித்து ஒன்று கவலையாக இருக்கும்படிக்கு, தேவன் கனத்தில் குறைவுள்ளதற்கு அதிக கனத்தைக் கொடுத்து, இப்படிச் சரீரத்தை அமைத்திருக்கிறார்.
that there might be no division in the body, but that the members might have the same concern one for another.
26 ௨௬ ஆதலால் ஒரு உறுப்பு பாடுபட்டால் எல்லா உறுப்புகளும் அதோடுசேர்ந்து பாடுபடும்; ஒரு உறுப்பு மகிமைப்பட்டால் எல்லா உறுப்புகளும் அதோடுசேர்ந்து சந்தோஷப்படும்.
And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with [it]; and if one member be glorified, all the members rejoice with [it].
Now ye are Christ's body, and members in particular.
28 ௨௮ தேவனானவர் சபையிலே முதலாவது அப்போஸ்தலர்களையும், இரண்டாவது தீர்க்கதரிசிகளையும், மூன்றாவது போதகர்களையும், பின்பு அற்புதங்களையும், பின்பு குணமாக்கும் வரங்களையும், உதவி செய்யும் ஊழியங்களையும், ஆளுகைகளையும், பலவித அந்நிய மொழிகளையும் ஏற்படுத்தினார்.
And God has set certain in the assembly: first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then miraculous powers; then gifts of healings; helps; governments; kinds of tongues.
29 ௨௯ எல்லோரும் அப்போஸ்தலர்களா? எல்லோரும் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளா? எல்லோரும் போதகர்களா? எல்லோரும் அற்புதங்களைச் செய்கிறவர்களா?
[Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all [in possession of] miraculous powers?
30 ௩0 எல்லோரும் குணமாக்கும் வரங்களை உடையவர்களா? எல்லோரும் அந்நிய மொழிகளைப் பேசுகிறார்களா? எல்லோரும் வியாக்கியானம் செய்கிறார்களா?
have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31 ௩௧ இப்படியிருக்க, முக்கியமான வரங்களை விரும்புங்கள்; இன்னும் அதிக மேன்மையான வழியையும் உங்களுக்குக் காண்பிக்கிறேன்.
But desire earnestly the greater gifts, and yet shew I unto you a way of more surpassing excellence.
