1 கொரிந்தியர் 1
1 ௧ தேவனுடைய விருப்பத்தினாலே கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின் அப்போஸ்தலனாகும்படி அழைக்கப்பட்டவனாகிய பவுலும், சகோதரனாகிய சொஸ்தெனேயும்,
Paul called to be an Apostle of Iesus Christ, through the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,
2 ௨ கொரிந்துவிலே கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவிற்குள் பரிசுத்தமாக்கப்பட்டவர்களாகவும், பரிசுத்தவான்களாகும்படி அழைக்கப்பட்டவர்களாகவும் இருக்கிற தேவனுடைய சபைக்கும், எங்களுக்கும் அவர்களுக்கும் ஆண்டவராக இருக்கிற நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தை எங்கும் தொழுதுகொள்ளுகிற அனைவருக்கும் எழுதுகிறதாவது:
Vnto the Church of God, which is at Corinthus, to them that are sanctified in Christ Iesus, Saintes by calling, with all that call on the Name of our Lord Iesus Christ in euery place, both their Lord, and ours:
3 ௩ நம்முடைய பிதாவாகிய தேவனாலும் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினாலும் உங்களுக்குக் கிருபையும் சமாதானமும் உண்டாவதாக.
Grace be with you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.
I thanke my God alwayes on your behalfe for the grace of God, which is giuen you in Iesus Christ,
5 ௫ நீங்கள் இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவிற்குள்ளாக எல்லா உபதேசத்திலும் எல்லா அறிவிலும், மற்றெல்லாவற்றிலும், முழு நிறைவுள்ளவர்களாக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறபடியால்,
That in all things ye are made rich in him, in all kinde of speach, and in all knowledge:
6 ௬ அவர் மூலமாக உங்களுக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்ட தேவகிருபைக்காக, நான் உங்களைக்குறித்து எப்பொழுதும் என் தேவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துகிறேன்.
As the testimonie of Iesus Christ hath bene confirmed in you:
7 ௭ அப்படியே நீங்கள் எந்த ஒரு வரத்திலும் குறைவில்லாதவர்களாக, நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்து வெளிப்படுவதற்குக் காத்திருக்கிறீர்கள்.
So that ye are not destitute of any gift: wayting for the appearing of our Lord Iesus Christ.
8 ௮ நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்து வெளிப்படும் நாளிலே நீங்கள் குற்றஞ்சாட்டப்படாதவர்களாக இருக்கும்படி இறுதிவரைக்கும் அவர் உங்களை உறுதிப்படுத்துவார்.
Who shall also confirme you vnto the ende, that ye may be blamelesse, in the day of our Lord Iesus Christ.
9 ௯ தம்முடைய குமாரனும் நம்முடைய கர்த்தருமாக இருக்கிற இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவோடு ஐக்கியமாக இருப்பதற்கு உங்களை அழைத்த தேவன் உண்மையுள்ளவர்.
God is faithfull, by whom ye are called vnto the fellowship of his Sonne Iesus Christ our Lord.
10 ௧0 சகோதரர்களே, நீங்களெல்லோரும் ஒரே காரியத்தைப் பேசவும், பிரிவினைகள் இல்லாமல் ஒரே மனதும் ஒரே யோசனையும் உள்ளவர்களாகச் சீர்பொருந்தியிருக்கவும் வேண்டுமென்று, நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தினாலே உங்களுக்குப் புத்திசொல்லுகிறேன்.
Nowe I beseeche you, brethren, by the Name of our Lord Iesus Christ, that ye all speake one thing, and that there be no dissensions among you: but be ye knit together in one mind, and in one iudgement.
11 ௧௧ ஏனென்றால், என் சகோதரர்களே, உங்களுக்குள்ளே வாக்குவாதங்கள் உண்டென்று குலோவேயாளின் குடும்பத்தாரால் உங்களைக்குறித்து எனக்கு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது.
For it hath bene declared vnto me, my brethren, of you by them that are of the house of Cloe, that there are contentions among you.
12 ௧௨ உங்களில் சிலர்: நான் பவுலைச் சேர்ந்தவனென்றும், நான் அப்பொல்லோவைச் சேர்ந்தவனென்றும், நான் கேபாவைச் சேர்ந்தவனென்றும், நான் கிறிஸ்துவைச் சேர்ந்தவனென்றும் சொல்லுகிறபடியால், நான் இப்படிச் சொல்லுகிறேன்.
Nowe this I say, that euery one of you saith, I am Pauls, and I am Apollos, and I am Cephas, and I am Christs.
13 ௧௩ கிறிஸ்து பிரிந்திருக்கிறாரா? பவுலா உங்களுக்காகச் சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட்டான்? பவுலின் நாமத்தினாலேயா ஞானஸ்நானம் பெற்றீர்கள்?
Is Christ deuided? was Paul crucified for you? either were ye baptized into the name of Paul?
I thanke God, that I baptized none of you, but Crispus, and Gaius,
15 ௧௫ நான் கிறிஸ்புவிற்கும் காயுவிற்கும்தவிர, உங்களில் வேறொருவனுக்கும் ஞானஸ்நானம் கொடுக்கவில்லை; இதற்காக தேவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துகிறேன்.
Lest any should say, that I had baptized into mine owne name.
16 ௧௬ ஸ்தேவானுடைய குடும்பத்தினருக்கும் நான் ஞானஸ்நானம் கொடுத்ததுண்டு. இதுவுமல்லாமல் வேறு யாருக்காவது நான் ஞானஸ்நானம் கொடுத்தேனோ இல்லையோ என்பது எனக்குத் தெரியாது.
I baptized also the houshold of Stephanas: furthermore knowe I not, whether I baptized any other.
17 ௧௭ ஞானஸ்நானத்தைக் கொடுக்கும்படி கிறிஸ்து என்னை அனுப்பவில்லை; நற்செய்தியைப் பிரசங்கிக்கவே அனுப்பினார்; கிறிஸ்துவின் சிலுவை வீணாகப் போகாதபடிக்கு, மனித ஞானமில்லாமல் பிரசங்கிக்கவே அனுப்பினார்.
For CHRIST sent me not to baptize, but to preache the Gospel, not with wisdome of wordes, lest the crosse of Christ should be made of none effect.
18 ௧௮ சிலுவையைப்பற்றிய உபதேசம் கெட்டுப்போகிறவர்களுக்குப் பைத்தியமாக இருக்கிறது, இரட்சிக்கப்படுகிற நமக்கோ அது தேவபெலனாக இருக்கிறது.
For that preaching of the crosse is to them that perish, foolishnesse: but vnto vs, which are saued, it is the power of God.
19 ௧௯ அந்தப்படி: “ஞானிகளுடைய ஞானத்தை நான் அழித்து, புத்திசாலிகளுடைய புத்தியை அவமாக்குவேன்” என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறது.
For it is written, I will destroy the wisedome of the wise, and will cast away the vnderstanding of the prudent.
20 ௨0 ஞானி எங்கே? வேதபண்டிதன் எங்கே? இந்த உலகத்தின் தர்க்கஞானி எங்கே? இந்த உலகத்தின் ஞானத்தை தேவன் பைத்தியமாக்கவில்லையா? (aiōn g165)
Where is the wise? where is the Scribe? where is the disputer of this worlde? hath not God made the wisedome of this worlde foolishnesse? (aiōn g165)
21 ௨௧ எப்படியென்றால், தேவஞானத்துக்கேற்றபடி உலகமானது சுயஞானத்தினாலே தேவனை அறியாமல் இருந்ததினால், பைத்தியமாகத் தோன்றுகிற பிரசங்கத்தினாலே விசுவாசிகளை இரட்சிக்க தேவனுக்குப் பிரியமானது.
For seeing the worlde by wisedome knewe not God in the wisedome of GOD, it pleased God by the foolishnesse of preaching to saue them that beleeue:
Seeing also that the Iewes require a signe, and the Grecians seeke after wisdome.
23 ௨௩ நாங்களோ சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட்ட கிறிஸ்துவைப் பிரசங்கிக்கிறோம்; அவர் யூதர்களுக்கு இடறலாகவும் கிரேக்கர்களுக்குப் பைத்தியமாகவும் இருக்கிறார்.
But wee preach Christ crucified: vnto the Iewes, euen a stumbling blocke, and vnto the Grecians, foolishnesse:
24 ௨௪ ஆனாலும் யூதர்களானாலும் கிரேக்கர்களானாலும் எவர்கள் அழைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்களோ அவர்களுக்குக் கிறிஸ்து தேவபெலனும் தேவஞானமுமாக இருக்கிறார்.
But vnto them which are called, both of the Iewes and Grecians, we preach Christ, the power of God, and the wisedome of God.
25 ௨௫ இந்தப்படி, தேவனுடைய பைத்தியம் எனப்படுவது மனிதர்களுடைய ஞானத்திலும் அதிக ஞானமாக இருக்கிறது; தேவனுடைய பலவீனம் எனப்படுவது மனிதர்களுடைய பலத்திலும் அதிக பலமாக இருக்கிறது.
For the foolishnesse of God is wiser then men, and the weakenesse of God is stronger then men.
26 ௨௬ எப்படியென்றால், சகோதரர்களே, நீங்கள் அழைக்கப்பட்ட அழைப்பைப் பாருங்கள்; மனிதர் பார்வையில் ஞானிகள் அநேகர் இல்லை, வல்லவர்கள் அநேகர் இல்லை, பிரபுக்கள் அநேகர் இல்லை.
For brethren, you see your calling, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called.
27 ௨௭ ஞானிகளை வெட்கப்படுத்தும்படி தேவன் உலகத்தில் பைத்தியமானவைகளைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்; பலமுள்ளவைகளை வெட்கப்படுத்தும்படி தேவன் உலகத்தில் பலவீனமானவைகளைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்.
But God hath chosen the foolish thinges of the world to confound the wise, and God hath chosen the weake thinges of the worlde, to confound the mightie things,
28 ௨௮ உள்ளவைகளை அவமாக்கும்படி, உலகத்தின் இழிவானவைகளையும், அற்பமாக எண்ணப்பட்டவைகளையும், இல்லாதவைகளையும் தேவன் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்.
And vile things of the worlde and thinges which are despised, hath God chosen, and thinges which are not, to bring to nought thinges that are,
That no flesh shoulde reioyce in his presence.
30 ௩0 அந்தப்படி, நீங்கள் அவராலே கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவிற்குட்பட்டிருக்கிறீர்கள். எழுதியிருக்கிறபடி, மேன்மைபாராட்டுகிறவன் கர்த்த்தரைக்குறித்தே மேன்மைபாராட்டத்தக்கதாக,
But ye are of him in Christ Iesus, who of God is made vnto vs wisedome and righteousnesse, and sanctification, and redemption,
That, according as it is written, Hee that reioyceth, let him reioyce in the Lord.
