1 ௧ ரூபன் இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு முதலில் பிறந்த மூத்தமகன் ஆவான்; ஆனாலும் அவன் தன் தகப்பனுடைய படுக்கையைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தியதால், கோத்திரத்து அட்டவணையில் அவன் முதற்பிறப்பவனாக கருதப்படாமல், அவனுடைய மூத்த மகன் என்கிற பிறப்புரிமை இஸ்ரவேலின் மகனாகிய யோசேப்பின் மகன்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது.
And the sons of Reuben the first-born of Israel—for he was the first-born; but, when the defiled his father's bed, was his birthright given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: so that the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the first-birth.
2 ௨ யூதா தன்னுடைய சகோதரர்களிலே பலவானாக இருந்ததால் தலைமைத்துவம் அவனுடைய சந்ததியில் உண்டானது; ஆகிலும் மூத்தமகன் என்கிற பிறப்புரிமை யோசேப்பிற்குரியதாக மாறினது.
For Judah became the mightiest of his brothers, and the prince descended from him: while the first-birthright belonged to Joseph, —
The sons of Reuben the first-born of Israel were, Chanoch, and Pallu, Chezron, and Carmi.
The sons of Joel: Shema'yah his son, Gog his son, Shim'i his son,
Michah his son, Reayah his son, Ba'al his son,
6 ௬ இவனுடைய மகன் பேரா; ரூபனியரின் பிரபுவான இவனை அசீரியா ராஜாவாகிய தில்காத்பில்நேசர் சிறைபிடித்துப்போனான்.
Beerah his son, whom Tilgath-pilneesser the king of Assyria carried into exile: he was the prince of the Reubenites.
7 ௭ தங்களுடைய சந்ததிகளின்படியே தங்களுடைய வம்ச அட்டவணைகளில் எழுதப்பட்ட அவனுடைய சகோதரர்களில் தலைவர்கள் ஏயேலும், சகரியாவும்,
And his brethren by their families, according to their genealogy after their generations, were, the chief, Je'iel, and Zecharyahu,
8 ௮ யோவேலின் மகனாகிய சேமாவுக்குப் பிறந்த ஆசாசின் மகன் பேலாவும்; இவனுடைய சந்ததியார் ஆரோவேரிலும், நேபோவரை, பாகால்மெயோன்வரை தங்கியிருந்தார்கள்.
And Bela' the son of 'Azaz, the son of Shema', the son of Joel, who dwelt in 'Aro'er, and as far as Nebo and Ba'al-me'on;
9 ௯ கிழக்கே ஐப்பிராத்து நதி துவங்கி வனாந்திரத்தின் எல்லைவரை அவர்கள் தங்கியிருந்தார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய ஆடுமாடுகள் கீலேயாத்தேசத்தில் மிகுதியானது.
And to the eastward he dwelt as far as the entrance of the wilderness from the river Euphrates; because their cattle were numerous in the land of Gil'ad.
10 ௧0 சவுலின் நாட்களில் ஆகாரியர்களோடு அவர்கள் யுத்தம்செய்து, தங்களுடைய கையால் அவர்கள் விழுந்தபின்பு, அவர்களுடைய கூடாரங்களிலே கீலேயாத்தின் கிழக்கில் குடியேறினார்கள்.
And in the days of Saul they made war with the Hagarenes, who fell by their hand; and they dwelt in their tents in the whole front of the land to the east of Gil'ad.
And the children of Gad dwelt alongside of them, in the land of Bashan as far as Salchah.
12 ௧௨ அவர்களில் யோவேல் தலைவனும், சாப்பாம் அவனுக்கு இரண்டாவதாகவும் இருந்தான்; யானாயும் சாப்பாத்தும் பாசானில் இருந்தார்கள்.
Joel the chief, and Shapham the next, and Ja'nai, and Shaphat in Bashan.
13 ௧௩ அவர்களுடைய தகப்பன் வழி உறவினர்களாகிய சகோதரர்கள், மிகாவேல், மெசுல்லாம், சேபா, யோராயி, யாக்கான், சீகா, ஏபேர் என்னும் ஏழு பேர்.
And their brethren according to their family divisions were, Michael, and Meshullam, and Sheba', and Jorai, and Ya'kan, and Zia', and 'Eber, seven.
14 ௧௪ இவர்கள் ஊரிக்குப் பிறந்த அபியேலின் மகன்கள்; ஊரி என்பவன் யெரொவாவுக்கும், யெரொவா கீலேயாத்திற்கும், கீலேயாத் மிகாவேலுக்கும், மிகாவேல் எசிசாயிக்கும், எசிசாயி யாதோவுக்கும், யாதோ பூசுக்கும் மகன்களாக இருந்தவர்கள்.
These are the children of Abichayil the son of Churi, the son of Jaroach, the son of Gil'ad, the son of Michael, the son of Jeshishai, the son of Jachdo, the son of Buz:
Achi the son of Abdiel the son of Guni, the chief of their family division.
16 ௧௬ அவர்கள் கீலேயாத்திலே இருக்கிற பாசானிலும், அதின் வெளிநிலங்களிலும், சாரோனின் எல்லாக் குடியிருப்புக்களிலும் அவைகளின் எல்லைவரை தங்கியிருந்தார்கள்.
And they dwelt in Gil'ad, in Bashan, and in its minor towns, and in all the open districts of Sharon, as far as their terminations.
17 ௧௭ இவர்களெல்லோரும் யூதாவின் ராஜாவாகிய யோதாமின் நாட்களிலும், இஸ்ரவேலின் ராஜாவாகிய யெரொபெயாமின் நாட்களிலும் தங்களுடைய வம்சத்து அட்டவணைப்படி வரிசைப்படுத்தப்பட்டார்கள்.
All these were recorded by their genealogies in the days of Jotham the king of Judah, and in the days of Jerobo'am the king of Israel.
18 ௧௮ ரூபனியர்களிலும், காத்தியர்களிலும், மனாசேயின் பாதிக்கோத்திரத்தார்களிலும் கேடகமும் பட்டயமும் எடுத்து, வில் எய்து, யுத்தத்திற்குப் பழகி, படைக்குப் போகத்தக்க வீரர்கள் நாற்பத்துநான்காயிரத்து எழுநூற்று அறுபதுபேராக இருந்தார்கள்.
The sons of Reuben, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Menasseh, of valiant men, men able to bear shield and sword, and to draw the bow, and practised in war, were four and forty thousand seven hundred and sixty, that went out to the army.
And they made war with the Hagarenes, and Jetur, and Naphish, and Nodab.
20 ௨0 அவர்களை எதிர்க்கத் தேவனுடைய உதவி பெற்றபடியால், ஆகாரியர்களும் இவர்களோடு இருக்கிற யாவரும் தோற்கடிக்கப்பட்டார்கள்; அவர்கள் யுத்தத்திலே தேவனை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டு, அவர்மேல் நம்பிக்கை வைத்தபடியால் அவர்களுடைய விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்டருளினார்.
And they obtained help against them, and the Hagarenes were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them; for to God they cried in the battle, and he was entreated by them; because they put their trust in him.
21 ௨௧ அவர்கள் இவர்களுக்கு இருந்த மிருகஜீவன்களாகிய ஐம்பதாயிரம் ஒட்டகங்களையும், இரண்டு லட்சத்து ஐம்பதாயிரம் ஆடுகளையும், இரண்டாயிரம் கழுதைகளையும், மனிதர்களில் லட்சம்பேரையும் பிடித்தார்கள்.
And they led away captive their cattle: of their camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred and fifty thousand, and of asses two thousand, and of human beings one hundred thousand.
22 ௨௨ யுத்தம் தேவனால் நடந்ததால் அவர்களுடைய எதிரிகளில் அநேகரை வெட்டி வீழ்த்தினார்கள்; தாங்கள் சிறைப்பட்டுப்போகும்வரை இவர்களுடைய இடத்திலே குடியிருந்தார்கள்.
For there fell down many slain; because the war was of God. And they dwelt in their stead until the exile.
23 ௨௩ மனாசேயின் பாதிக்கோத்திரம் அந்த தேசத்தில் குடியிருந்து, பாசான் தொடங்கிப் பாகால் எர்மோன் வரை, சேனீர்வரை, எர்மோன் பர்வதம்வரை பெருகியிருந்தார்கள்.
And the children of the half tribe of Menasseh dwelt in the land: from Bashan unto Ba'al-chermon and Senir and mount Chermon were they numerous.
24 ௨௪ அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய பிதாக்களின் வீட்டுத் தலைவர்களாகிய ஏப்பேர், இஷி, ஏலியேல், அஸரியேல், எரேமியா, ஒதாவியா, யாதியேல் என்பவர்கள் பராக்கிரம வீரர்களான மனிதர்களும் பெயர்பெற்ற தலைவர்களுமாக இருந்தார்கள்.
And these were the heads of their family divisions: namely, 'Epher, and Yish'i, and Eliel, and 'Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodavyah, and Jachdiel, mighty men of valor, famous men, [and] heads of their family divisions.
25 ௨௫ அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய பிதாக்களின் தேவனுக்கு துரோகம்செய்து, தேவன் அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாக அழித்திருந்த தேச மக்களின் தேவர்களைப் பின்பற்றி கெட்டுப்போனார்கள்.
But they trespassed against the God of their fathers, and went astray after the gods of the people of the land, whom God had destroyed from before them.
26 ௨௬ ஆகையால் இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவன் அசீரியா ராஜாவாகிய பூலின் ஆவியையும், அசீரியா ராஜாவாகிய தில்காத்பில்நேசரின் ஆவியையும் எழுப்பியதால், அவன் ரூபனியர்களும் காத்தியர்களும் மனாசேயின் பாதிக்கோத்திரத்தார்களுமாகிய அவர்களை சிறைபிடித்து, இந்த நாள்வரைக்கும் இருக்கிறதுபோல, ஆலாவுக்கும் ஆபோருக்கும் ஆராவுக்கும் கோசான் ஆற்றங்கரைக்கும் கொண்டுபோனான்.
And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul the king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgath-pilnesser the king of Assyria, and he carried them into exile, even the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Menasseh, and brought them unto Chalach, and Chabor, and Hara, and to the river Gozan, even until this day.
