சகரியா 4

1 என்னோடு பேசிய தூதன் மறுபடியும் திரும்பிவந்து, நித்திரையிலிருக்கிறவனை எழுப்புவதுபோல் என்னை எழுப்பினான்.

And the messenger who is speaking with me doth turn back, and stir me up as one who is stirred up out of his sleep,

2 அவன் என்னிடம், “நீ காண்பது என்ன?” என்று கேட்டான். அதற்கு நான், “முழுவதும் தங்கத்தினாலான குத்துவிளக்கினைக் காண்கிறேன், அதன் உச்சியில் ஒரு கிண்ணமும், ஏழு அகல் விளக்குகளும், அந்த விளக்குகளுக்கான ஏழு குழாய்களும் இருக்கின்றன என்றேன்.

and he saith unto me, 'What art thou seeing?' And I say, 'I have looked, and lo, a candlestick of gold — all of it, and its bowl [is] on its top, and its seven lamps [are] upon it, and twice seven pipes [are] to the lights that [are] on its top,

3 மேலும் அதன் அருகில் இரண்டு ஒலிவமரங்கள் இருக்கின்றன. ஒன்று கிண்ணத்தின் வலதுபக்கத்திலும், மற்றொன்று அதன் இடது பக்கத்திலும் இருக்கின்றன என்றேன்.”

and two olive-trees [are] by it, one on the right of the bowl, and one on its left.'

4 என்னுடன் பேசிய தூதனிடம் நான், “ஐயா, இவை என்ன?” என்று கேட்டேன்.

And I answer and speak unto the messenger who is speaking with me, saying, 'What [are] these, my lord?'

5 அதற்கு அவன், “இவைகள் என்ன என்பது உனக்குத் தெரியாதா?” என்று கேட்டான். நான், “தெரியாது ஐயா” என்றேன்.

And the messenger who is speaking with me answereth and saith unto me, 'Hast thou not known what these [are]?' And I say, 'No, my lord.'

6 எனவே அவன் என்னிடம், “செருபாபேலுக்கு வந்த யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை இதுவே: உன் வலிமையினாலும் அல்ல; உன் வல்லமையினாலும் அல்ல. என்னுடைய ஆவியானவராலேயே ஆகும்” என சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.

And he answereth and speaketh unto me, saying: 'This [is] a word of Jehovah unto Zerubbabel, saying: Not by a force, nor by power, But — by My Spirit, said Jehovah of Hosts.

7 “மாபெரும் மலையே, நீ எம்மாத்திரம்? செருபாபேலின் முன்பாக நீ சமனான தரையாவாய். அவன்முன் ஒன்றும் தடையாயிருக்காது. அதன்பின், ‘இறைவன் ஆசீர்வதிப்பாராக! இறைவன் ஆசீர்வதிப்பாராக!’ என்ற மக்களின் ஆர்ப்பரிப்புடன் செருபாபேல் ஆலயத்தின் தலைக்கல்லைக் கொண்டுவந்து கட்டிடத்தை முடிப்பான் என்றான்.”

Who [art] thou, O great mountain Before Zerubbabel — for a plain! And he hath brought forth the top-stone, Cries of Grace, grace — [are] to it.'

8 அப்பொழுது யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை எனக்கு வந்தது:

And there is a word of Jehovah to me, saying,

9 “செருபாபேலின் கைகளே இந்த ஆலயத்தின் அஸ்திபாரத்தைப் போட்டன; அவனுடைய கைகளே இதைக் கட்டியும் முடிக்கும். அப்பொழுது சேனைகளின் யெகோவாவே என்னை உங்களிடம் அனுப்பினார் என்பதை நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்.

Hands of Zerubbabel did found this house, And his hands do finish it, And thou hast known that Jehovah of Hosts Hath sent me unto you.

10 “இது சிறிய செயல்களின் நாளாய் இருந்தாலும் அதை அவமதிக்க வேண்டாம், ஏனெனில் இறைவன் தமது வேலையின் ஆரம்பத்திலும் மகிழ்ச்சிகொள்கிறார். செருபாபேலின் கையில் தூக்குநூலைக் காணும்போது மனிதர் யாவரும் அகமகிழ்வார்கள். நீ கண்ட இந்த ஏழு கண்களும் பூமியைச் சுற்றிப் பார்த்துக் கண்காணிக்கிற யெகோவாவின் கண்களாகும் என்றான்.”

For who trampled on the day of small things, They have rejoiced, And seen the tin weight in the hand of Zerubbabel, These seven [are] the eyes of Jehovah, They are going to and fro in all the land.'

11 அப்பொழுது நான் அந்தத் தூதனிடம், “குத்துவிளக்கின் வலதுபக்கத்திலும், இடது பக்கத்திலும் இருக்கும் ஒலிவமரங்கள் இரண்டும் எதைக் குறிக்கின்றன?” என்று கேட்டேன்.

And I answer and say unto him, 'What [are] these two olive-trees, on the right of the candlestick, and on its left?'

12 திரும்பவும் நான் அவனிடம், “தங்க நிறமான எண்ணெயை வடியவிடும் தங்கக் குழாய்கள் இரண்டினுடைய அருகில் காணப்படும் ஒலிவமரக் கிளைகள் இரண்டும் எதைக் குறிக்கின்றன?” என்றும் கேட்டேன்.

And I answer a second time, and say unto him, 'What [are] the two branches of the olive trees that, by means of the two golden pipes, are emptying out of themselves the oil?'

13 அதற்கு அவன், “இவைகள் என்ன என்று உனக்குத் தெரியாதா?” என்றான். நான், “தெரியாது, ஐயா!” என்றேன்.

And he speaketh unto me, saying, 'Hast thou not known what these [are]?' And I say, 'No, my lord.'

14 எனவே அவன், “இவர்கள் இருவரும் சர்வலோகத்திற்கும் ஆண்டவராக இருப்பவருக்கு ஊழியம் செய்யும்படி அபிஷேகம் செய்யப்பட்டவர்கள் என்றான்.”

And he saith, 'These [are] the two sons of the oil, who are standing by the Lord of the whole earth.'
