சங்கீதம் 95

1 வாருங்கள், யெகோவாவை மகிழ்ச்சியோடு பாடுவோம்; நம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பின் கன்மலையை சத்தமிட்டுத் துதிப்போம்.

Come let us praise the Lord with joy: let us joyfully sing to God our saviour.

2 நன்றியுடன் அவர்முன் வருவோம்; இசையினாலும் பாட்டினாலும் அவரைப் புகழ்ந்து உயர்த்துவோம்.

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving; and make a joyful noise to him with psalms.

3 யெகோவாவே மகா இறைவனாய் இருக்கிறார்; எல்லாத் தெய்வங்களுக்கும் மேலான மகா அரசருமாய் இருக்கிறார்.

For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

4 பூமியின் ஆழங்கள் அவருடைய கரத்தில் இருக்கின்றன; மலை உச்சிகளும் அவருக்கே உரியவை.

For in his hand are all the ends of the earth: and the heights of the mountains are his.

5 கடல் அவருடையது, அவரே அதை உண்டாக்கினார்; வறண்ட நிலத்தையும் அவருடைய கரங்களே உருவாக்கின.

For the sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

6 வாருங்கள், நம்மை உண்டாக்கின யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாக நாம் குனிந்து, பணிந்து, வழிபடுவோம்; நாம் முழங்காலிடுவோம்.

Come let us adore and fall down: and weep before the Lord that made us.

7 அவரே நம் இறைவன்; நாம் அவருடைய மேய்ச்சலின் மக்களும் அவருடைய பராமரிப்புக்குள்ளான மந்தையுமாய் இருக்கிறோம். இன்று நீங்கள் அவருடைய குரலைக் கேட்பீர்களானால்,

For he is the Lord our God: and we are the people of his pasture and the sheep of his hand.

8 “அன்று மேரிபாவில் விவாதம் செய்தது போலவும், பாலைவனத்திலே மாசாவில் சோதனை செய்தது போலவும், உங்கள் இருதயங்களைக் கடினப்படுத்த வேண்டாம்.

Today if you shall hear his voice, harden not your hearts:

9 அங்கே உங்கள் முன்னோர்கள் என்னைச் சோதித்தார்கள்; நான் செய்தவைகளைக் கண்டிருந்தும் என்னைப் பரீட்சை பார்த்தார்கள்.

As in the provocation, according to the day of temptation in the wilderness: where your fathers tempted me, they proved me, and saw my works.

10 நான் நாற்பது வருடங்களாக அந்தச் சந்ததியோடு கோபமாயிருந்தேன்; ‘அவர்கள் என்னைவிட்டு விலகிப்போகும் இருதயமுள்ள மக்கள் என்றும், என்னுடைய வழிகளை அறியாதவர்கள்’ என்றும் நான் சொன்னேன்.

Forty years long was I offended with that generation, and I said: These always err in heart.

11 எனவே கோபங்கொண்டு, ‘அவர்கள் என்னுடைய இளைப்பாறுதலுக்குள் பிரவேசிப்பதில்லை’ என்று, ஆணையிட்டு அறிவித்தேன்.”

And these men have not known my ways: so I swore in my wrath that they shall not enter into my rest.
