சங்கீதம் 94
1 அநீதிக்கு பழிவாங்குகிற இறைவனாகிய யெகோவாவே, அநீதிக்கு பழிவாங்குகிற இறைவனே, பிரகாசியும்.
A Psalm of David himself. The Fourth Sabbath. The Lord is the God of retribution. The God of retribution acts in order to deliver.
2 பூமியின் நீதிபதியே, எழுந்தருளும்; பெருமை உள்ளவர்களுக்குத் தக்கபடி பதிலளியும்.
Lift yourself up, for you judge the earth. Repay the arrogant with retribution.
3 எவ்வளவு காலத்திற்கு யெகோவாவே, கொடியவர்கள், எவ்வளவு காலத்திற்கு கொடியவர்கள் களிகூர்ந்திருப்பார்கள்?
How long will sinners, O Lord, how long will sinners glory?
4 அவர்கள் அகங்காரமான வார்த்தைகளைப் பேசுகிறார்கள்; தீமை செய்வோர் யாவரும் பெருமை நிறைந்து பேசுகிறார்கள்.
How long will they utter and speak iniquity? How long will all who work injustice speak out?
5 யெகோவாவே, அவர்கள் உமது மக்களை தாக்குகிறார்கள்; உமது உரிமைச்சொத்தை ஒடுக்குகிறார்கள்.
They have humiliated your people, O Lord, and they have harassed your inheritance.
6 விதவைகளையும் வேறுநாட்டைச் சேர்ந்தவரையும் அவர்கள் அழிக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் தந்தையற்றவர்களைக் கொலைசெய்கிறார்கள்.
They have executed the widow and the new arrival, and they have slaughtered the orphan.
7 “யெகோவா இவற்றைக் காண்பதில்லை, யாக்கோபின் இறைவன் இவற்றைக் கவனிப்பதில்லை” என்று சொல்கிறார்கள்.
And they have said, “The Lord will not see, nor will the God of Jacob understand.”
8 மக்கள் மத்தியில் அறிவற்றவர்களாய் இருப்பவர்களே, கவனமாயிருங்கள்; மூடரே, நீங்கள் எப்பொழுது அறிவு பெறுவீர்கள்?
Understand, you senseless ones among the people. And be wise at last, you foolish ones.
9 காதைப் படைத்தவர் கேட்கமாட்டாரோ? கண்ணை உருவாக்கியவர் பார்க்கமாட்டாரோ?
He who formed the ear, will he not hear? And he who forged the eye, does he not look closely?
10 மக்களைத் தண்டிக்கிறவர் உங்களையும் தண்டிக்கமாட்டாரோ? மனிதருக்குப் போதிக்கிறவர் அறிவில் குறைந்தவரோ?
He who chastises nations, he who teaches man knowledge, will he not rebuke?
11 மனிதரின் சிந்தனைகளை யெகோவா அறிந்திருக்கிறார்; அவை பயனற்றவை என்பதையும் அவர் அறிவார்.
The Lord knows the thoughts of men: that these are in vain.
12 யெகோவாவே, நீர் தண்டித்து, உமது சட்டத்திலிருந்து போதிக்கிற நபர் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்.
Blessed is the man whom you will instruct, O Lord. And you will teach him from your law.
13 கொடியவர்களுக்கோ குழிவெட்டப்படும் வரை கஷ்ட நாட்களிலிருந்து அவர்களுக்கு நீர் விடுதலை வழங்குகிறீர்.
So may you soothe him from the evil days, until a pit may be dug for sinners.
14 ஏனெனில் யெகோவா தமது மக்களைப் புறக்கணிக்கமாட்டார்; தமது உரிமைச்சொத்தை ஒருபோதும் கைவிடமாட்டார்.
For the Lord will not drive away his people, and he will not abandon his inheritance,
15 நீதியின்மேல் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு திரும்பவும் கட்டப்படும்; அதை இருதயத்தில் நேர்மையுள்ளோர் அனைவரும் பின்பற்றுவார்கள்.
even until the time when justice is being converted into judgment, and when those who are close to justice are all those who are upright of heart.
16 எனக்காக கொடியவனுக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்புகிறவன் யார்? தீமை செய்வோருக்கு எதிராய் எனக்குத் துணைநிற்பவன் யார்?
Who will rise up with me against the malignant? Or who will stand with me against the workers of iniquity?
17 யெகோவா எனக்கு உதவி செய்திருக்காவிட்டால், நான் சீக்கிரமாய் மரணத்தின் மவுனத்தில் குடிகொண்டிருந்திருப்பேன்.
Except that the Lord assisted me, my soul almost would have dwelt in Hell. (questioned)
18 “என் கால் சறுக்குகிறது” என்று நான் சொன்னபோது, யெகோவாவே உமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பே என்னைத் தாங்கியது.
If ever I said, “My foot is slipping,” then your mercy, O Lord, assisted me.
19 கவலை எனக்குள் பெரிதாய் இருக்கையில், உமது ஆறுதல் என் ஆத்துமாவுக்கு மகிழ்வைத் தந்தது.
According to the multitude of my sorrows in my heart, your consolations have given joy to my soul.
20 தான் பிறப்பிக்கும் விதிமுறைகளினாலேயே துன்பத்தைக் கொண்டுவரும், ஊழல் நிறைந்த ஆட்சியாளர்கள் உமக்கு கூட்டாளிகளாயிருக்க முடியுமோ?
Does the seat of iniquity adhere to you, you who contrive hardship within a commandment?
21 அந்தக் கொடியவர்கள் நீதிமான்களுக்கு விரோதமாகக் கூட்டங்கூடி, குற்றமற்றவர்களுக்கு மரணத்தீர்ப்பு அளிக்கிறார்கள்.
They will hunt down the soul of the just, and they will condemn innocent blood.
22 ஆனால் யெகோவாவோ என் கோட்டையும், நான் தஞ்சமடையும் கன்மலையான என் இறைவனுமானார்.
And the Lord has been made into a refuge for me, and my God into the assistance of my hope.
23 அவர் அவர்களுடைய பாவங்களுக்காகப் பதில்செய்து, அவர்கள் கொடுமைகளினிமித்தம் அவர்களை தண்டிப்பார்; எங்கள் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவா அவர்களை தண்டிப்பார்.
And he will repay them their iniquity, and he will destroy them in their malice. The Lord our God will utterly destroy them.
