சங்கீதம் 92
1 ஓய்வுநாளுக்கான பாடலாகிய சங்கீதம். யெகோவாவைத் துதிப்பதும், உன்னதமானவரே, உமது பெயரைப் புகழ்ந்து பாடுவதும் நல்லது.
“A psalm or song for the sabbath day.” It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:
2 காலையிலே உமது அன்பையும் இரவிலே உமது உண்மையையும் அறிவிப்பது நல்லது.
To tell in the morning of thy kindness, and of thy faithfulness in the nights.
3 பத்து நரம்பு வீணையின் இசையினாலும், யாழின் ஓசையினாலும் அதை அறிவிப்பது நல்லது.
Upon a ten-stringed instrument, and upon the psaltery; and with the sweet sound of the harp.
4 யெகோவாவே, நீர் உமது செயல்களினால் என்னை மகிழ்ச்சியாக்குகிறீர்; உமது கைகளின் வேலைகளினிமித்தம் நான் மகிழ்ந்து பாடுகிறேன்.
For thou hast caused me to rejoice, O Lord, through thy doing: because of the works of thy hands will I triumph.
5 யெகோவாவே, உமது செயல்கள் எவ்வளவு பெரிதானவை, உம்முடைய யோசனைகள் எவ்வளவு ஆழமானவை!
How great are thy works, O Lord! exceedingly profound are thy thoughts.
6 உணர்வற்ற மனிதன் அறியாததும், மூடர் விளங்கிக்கொள்ளாததும் இதுவே,
A brutish man knoweth it not, and a fool cannot understand this.
7 கொடியவர்கள் புல்லைப்போல் முளைத்தாலும், தீங்கு செய்கிறவர்கள் எல்லோரும் செழித்தாலும், என்றென்றைக்கும் அழிந்துபோவார்கள்.
When the wicked spring up like herbs, and when all the workers of wickedness do flourish; it is that they may be destroyed evermore.
8 ஆனாலும் யெகோவாவே, நீர் என்றென்றுமாய் புகழ்ந்து உயர்த்தப்படுகிறீர்.
But thou art exalted to eternity, O Lord!
9 யெகோவாவே, உமது பகைவர், நிச்சயமாகவே உம்முடைய பகைவர் அழிந்தேபோவார்கள்; தீமை செய்வோர் எல்லோருமே சிதறடிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.
For, lo, thy enemies, O Lord, for, lo, thy enemies shall perish: all the workers of wickedness shall be scattered.
10 காட்டெருதின் பெலத்தைப்போல் நீர் என் பெலத்தை உயர்த்துவீர்; சிறந்த எண்ணெய் என்மேல் ஊற்றப்பட்டன.
But thou exaltest my horn like that of a reem: I am anointed with fresh oil.
11 என் விரோதிகளின் தோல்வியைக் கண்ணாரக் கண்டேன்; என் செவிகள் என் கொடிய எதிரிகள் முறியடிக்கப்படுவதைக் காதாரக் கேட்டேன்.
And my eye looketh on [the punishment of] those that regard me with envy: of the evildoers that rise up against me my ears shall bear it.
12 நீதிமான்கள் பனைமரத்தைப்போல் செழிப்பார்கள், அவர்கள் லெபனோனின் கேதுரு மரம்போல் வளர்வார்கள்;
The righteous shall spring up like the palm-tree: like a cedar in Lebanon shall he grow high.
13 அவர்கள் யெகோவாவினுடைய வீட்டிலே நாட்டப்பட்டு, நமது இறைவனுடைய ஆலய முற்றங்களில் செழிப்பார்கள்.
Planted in the house of the Lord, in the courts of our God shall they spring up.
14 அவர்கள் செழுமையும் பசுமையுமாயிருந்து, தங்கள் முதிர்வயதிலும் கனி கொடுப்பார்கள்.
They shall still flourish in high old age; they shall be vigorous and covered with foliage;
15 “யெகோவா நீதியுள்ளவர்; அவரே என் கன்மலை; அவரிடத்தில் அநீதி இல்லை” என்று அவர்கள் பிரசித்தப்படுத்துவார்கள்.
To declare that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no faultiness in him.
