சங்கீதம் 89
1 எஸ்ராகியனாகிய ஏத்தானின் மஸ்கீல் என்னும் சங்கீதம். யெகோவாவின் உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பை நான் என்றென்றும் பாடுவேன்; எல்லாத் தலைமுறைகளுக்கும் உமது சத்தியத்தை என் வாயினால் தெரியப்படுத்துவேன்.
Yahweh, I will sing forever about the ways you faithfully love me; people not yet born will hear that you faithfully [do all that you have promised].
2 உமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பு என்றென்றைக்கும் உறுதியாய் நிலைக்கிறது என்று அறிவிப்பேன்; நீர் உமது சத்தியத்தை வானத்தில் நிறுவினீர் என்பதையும் நான் அறிவிப்பேன்.
I will tell people that you will faithfully love us forever, and that your being faithful [to do what you have promised] is as permanent as the sky.
3 “நான் தெரிந்துகொண்டவனோடு ஓர் உடன்படிக்கையை ஏற்படுத்தியிருக்கிறேன்; என் அடியவனாகிய தாவீதுக்கு ஆணையிட்டிருக்கிறேன்.
Yahweh said, “I have made an agreement with David, whom I chose [to serve me]. I have made this solemn (agreement with/promise to) him:
4 ‘உன் வம்சத்தை என்றென்றும் நிலைநிறுத்தி, எல்லாத் தலைமுறைகளிலும் உன் சிங்காசனத்தை உறுதிப்படுத்துவேன்’” என்று நீர் சொன்னீர்.
‘I will enable various ones of your descendants to always be kings; the line of kings descended from you [MTY] will never end.’”
5 யெகோவாவே, வானங்கள் உமது அதிசயங்களைப் புகழ்கின்றன; அவை பரிசுத்தவான்களின் சபையிலே உமது சத்தியத்தைப் புகழ்கின்றன.
Yahweh, I desire that all [those beings who are in] [MTY] heaven will praise you for the wonderful things that you do, and that all your holy angels will sing about how you faithfully [do what you promise].
6 மேலே ஆகாயத்தில் உள்ளவர்களில் யெகோவாவுடன் ஒப்பிடத்தக்கவர் யார்? பரலோக தூதர்களின் மத்தியில் யெகோவாவைப் போன்றவர் யார்?
There is no one [RHQ] in heaven who can be compared with you, Yahweh. There are no angels [RHQ] in heaven who are equal to you.
7 பரிசுத்தவான்களின் சபையில் இறைவனே மிகவும் பயத்திற்கு உரியவராயிருக்கிறார்; தம்மைச் சுற்றியுள்ள எல்லாரைப்பார்க்கிலும் அவரே பிரமிக்கத்தக்கவர்.
When your holy angels gather together, they declare that you must be revered; they say that you are more awesome than all the angels that surround your throne!
8 சர்வ வல்லமையுள்ள இறைவனாகிய யெகோவாவே, உம்மைப்போல் யாருண்டு? யெகோவாவே, நீர் வல்லவர்; உமது சத்தியம் உம்மைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கிறது.
O Yahweh, God Almighty, there is no one [RHQ] who is powerful like you are; your faithfully doing [all that you promise] is [like a cloak that] [MET] [always] surrounds you.
9 பொங்கியெழும் கடலின்மேல் நீர் ஆளுகை செய்கிறீர்; அதின் அலைகள் பயங்கரமாக எழும்பும்போது நீர் அவற்றை அமைதியாக்குகிறீர்.
You rule over the powerful seas; when their waves rise up, you calm them.
10 நீர் ராகாபை அழிந்தவர்களில் ஒருவரைப்போல் நொறுக்கினீர்; உமது பலமுள்ள புயத்தினால் உமது பகைவரைச் சிதறடித்தீர்.
You are the one who crushed [and killed the great sea monster named] Rahab. You [defeated and] scattered your enemies with your great power [MTY].
11 வானங்கள் உம்முடையவை, பூமியும் உம்முடையதே; உலகத்தையும் அதிலுள்ள அனைத்தையும் நீரே நிலைநிறுத்தினீர்.
The heavens are yours, and the earth is yours; and everything on the earth is yours, because you created it all.
12 வடக்கையும் தெற்கையும் நீர் ஏற்படுத்தினீர்; தாபோரும் எர்மோனும் உமது பெயரில் மகிழ்ந்து பாடுகின்றன.
You created [everything from] the north to the south. Tabor [Mountain] and Hermon [Mountain] joyfully praise you [MTY].
13 உமது புயம் வலிமைமிக்கது; உமது கரம் பலமுள்ளது, உமது வலதுகரம் உயர்த்தப்பட்டுள்ளது.
(You/Your arms) are very powerful; (you/your hands) are extremely strong.
14 நீதியும் நியாயமும் உமது சிங்காசனத்தின் அடித்தளம்; அன்பும் சத்தியமும் உமக்குமுன் செல்கின்றன.
(Your rule [MTY] over us is based on/As you rule over us, you are always) treating people fairly and justly, and on/are always faithfully loving us and doing [what you promised].
15 யெகோவாவே உம்மை ஆர்ப்பரித்துத் துதிக்க அறிந்தவர்கள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்; அவர்கள் உமது பிரசன்னத்தின் வெளிச்சத்திலே நடப்பார்கள்.
Yahweh, happy are the people who worship you with joyful shouts, who live knowing that you are always watching over them.
16 அவர்கள் நாள்தோறும் உமது பெயரில் களிகூருகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் உமது நீதியில் மேன்மை அடைவார்கள்.
Every day, throughout the day, they rejoice in what you [MTY] [have done], and they praise you for being very good [to them].
17 நீரே அவர்களின் மகிமையும் பெலனுமாய் இருக்கிறீர்; நீர் உமது தயவினால் எங்கள் பலத்தை உயரப்பண்ணினீர்.
You give us your glorious strength; because you act in our favor, we defeat [MET] [our enemies].
18 உண்மையாகவே எங்கள் கேடயம் யெகோவாவுக்குரியது; எங்கள் அரசர் இஸ்ரயேலின் பரிசுத்தருக்குரியவர்.
Yahweh, you gave us [the one who] protects us [MET]; you, the holy God whom we Israelis worship, chose a king for us.
19 நீர் ஒருமுறை தரிசனத்தில், உமக்கு உண்மையான மக்களுடன் பேசிச் சொன்னதாவது: “நான் ஒரு வீரனைப் பலத்தால் நிறைத்தேன்; மக்கள் மத்தியிலிருந்து நான் ஓர் இளைஞனை உயர்த்தியிருக்கிறேன்.
Long ago you spoke in a vision to one of your servants/prophets, saying, “I have helped a famous soldier; I chose him from among all the people to be a king.
20 நான் என் பணியாளனான தாவீதைக் கண்டுபிடித்தேன்; என் பரிசுத்த எண்ணெயால் அவனை அபிஷேகம் செய்தேன்.
That man is David, the one who will serve me [faithfully], and I anointed him with sacred olive oil [to make him king].
21 என் கரம் அவனைத் தாங்கும்; நிச்சயமாகவே என் புயம் அவனைப் பலப்படுத்தும்.
I [MTY] will always strengthen him; with my power [MTY] I will make him strong.
22 பகைவன் அவனைக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தமாட்டான்; கொடியவன் அவனை ஒடுக்கவுமாட்டான்.
His enemies will never find ways to defeat him, and wicked people will never defeat him.
23 நான் அவனுடைய எதிரிகளை அவனுக்கு முன்பாக நொறுக்குவேன், அவனுடைய விரோதிகளை அடித்து வீழ்த்துவேன்.
I will crush his enemies in front of him and get rid of those who hate him.
24 என் உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பும் சத்தியமும் அவனோடிருக்கும்; என் பெயரால் அவன் பலம் உயரும்.
I will always be loyal to him and faithfully love him and enable him to defeat [MET] [his enemies].
25 நான் அவனுடைய ஆளுகையை கடலுக்கு மேலாகவும், அவனுடைய ஆட்சியை ஆறுகளுக்கு மேலாகவும் பரப்புவேன்.
I will cause (his kingdom/the area that he rules) to include all the land from the [Mediterranean] Sea to the [Euphrates] River.
26 அவன் என்னை நோக்கி, ‘நீரே என் தகப்பன், என் இறைவன், என் இரட்சகராகிய கன்மலை’ என்று கூப்பிடுவான்.
He will say to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, the one who protects [MET] and saves me.’
27 நான் அவனை எனது முதற்பேறான மகனாகவும், பூமியின் அரசர்களிலெல்லாம் மிக உயர்ந்தவனாகவும் நியமிப்பேன்.
I will give him [the rights/privileges that a man’s] firstborn son has [MET]; he will be the greatest king on the earth.
28 நான் எப்பொழுதும் அவனுக்கு என் உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பை வழங்குவேன்; நான் அவனோடு செய்யும் உடன்படிக்கை ஒருபோதும் மாறாது.
I will always be loyal to him, and my agreement [to bless] him will last forever.
29 நான் அவனுடைய வம்சத்தை என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைப்படுத்துவேன்; அவனுடைய சிங்காசனத்தை வானங்கள் உள்ளமட்டும் நிலைப்படுத்துவேன்.
I will establish a line of his descendants that will never end, various ones of his descendants will always be kings.
30 “அவனுடைய மகன்கள் என் சட்டத்தைக் கைவிட்டு, என் நியமங்களைப் பின்பற்றாது போனால்,
But, if [some of] his descendants disobey my laws, and do not not behave like my commands say that they should,
31 என் விதிமுறைகளை மீறி, எனது கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளத் தவறினால்,
if they disregard my requirements and do not do the right things that I have told them to do,
32 நான் அவர்களுடைய பாவத்தைத் தடியினாலும், அவர்களுடைய அநியாயத்தை சவுக்கடியினாலும் தண்டிப்பேன்;
I will punish them severely [MTY] and cause them to suffer for doing wrong.
33 ஆனாலும் நான் என் உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பை அவனைவிட்டு அகற்றமாட்டேன்; என் வாக்குறுதியை ஒருபோதும் மாற்றவுமாட்டேன்.
But I will not stop faithfully loving [David], and I will always do what I promised him.
34 நான் என் உடன்படிக்கையை மீறமாட்டேன்; என் உதடுகள் சொன்னதை மாற்றவுமாட்டேன்.
I will not break the agreement that I made with him; I will not change even one word that I spoke [to him].
35 ஒரேதரமாக நான் என் பரிசுத்தத்தைக்கொண்டு ஆணையிட்டிருக்கிறேன்; தாவீதுக்கு நான் பொய்சொல்லமாட்டேன்:
Once I made a solemn promise to David, and that will never change, and because I am God, I will never lie to David.
36 அவன் சந்ததி என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைக்கும், அவன் சிங்காசனம் சூரியனைப்போல எனக்கு முன்பாக நிலைநிற்கும்;
[I promised that] the line of kings descended from him will go on forever; it will last as long as the sun [shines].
37 அது ஆகாயத்தின் உண்மையான சாட்சியாக சந்திரனைப்போல என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைநிறுத்தப்படும்.”
That line will (be as permanent/last as long) as the moon that is always watching everything from the sky.
38 ஆனாலும், இப்பொழுது நீர் அவனைத் தள்ளி, அவனைப் புறக்கணித்து விட்டிருக்கிறீர்; நீர் அபிஷேகம் பண்ணியவன்மேல் கோபமாயிருக்கிறீர்.
But [Yahweh], now you have rejected [DOU] David! You are very angry with the king whom you appointed.
39 உமது பணியாளனுடன் செய்த உடன்படிக்கையை கைவிட்டு, அவனுடைய கிரீடத்தைத் தூசியில் தள்ளி அவமானப்படுத்தினீர்.
[It seems that] you have broken the agreement that you made with your servant, [David]; it seems as though you [have signaled that he is no longer the king by] throwing his crown into the dust/dirt.
40 நீர் அவனுடைய மதில்களைத் தகர்த்து, அவனுடைய அரண்களையெல்லாம் இடித்துத் தூளாக்கினீர்.
You have torn down the walls [that protect] his [city], and allowed all his forts to become ruins.
41 கடந்து செல்லும் அனைவருமே அவனைக் கொள்ளையிட்டார்கள்; அவன் தனது அயலவர்களின் இகழ்ச்சிக்குள்ளானான்.
All those who pass by plunder/steal his possessions; his neighbors (laugh at/ridicule) him.
42 நீர் அவனுடைய எதிரிகளின் வலதுகையை உயர்த்தினீர்; அவனுடைய பகைவர் அனைவரும் மகிழும்படி செய்தீர்.
You have enabled his enemies to defeat him; you have made them all happy.
43 நீர் அவனுடைய வாளின் முனையை மழுங்கப்பண்ணி, யுத்தத்தில் அவனுக்குத் துணைசெய்யாதிருந்தீர்.
You have caused his sword to become useless, and you have not helped him in his battles.
44 நீர் அவனுடைய சிறப்புக்கு முடிவை ஏற்படுத்தி, அவனுடைய சிங்காசனத்தை தரையிலே தள்ளினீர்.
You have caused his splendor to end (OR, You have taken away his power by knocking his throne to the ground.
45 நீர் அவனுடைய வாலிப நாட்களை குறுகப்பண்ணி, அவனை வெட்கத்தின் உடையால் மூடினீர்.
You have caused him to look old when he is still young and caused him to be very shamed/disgraced.
46 யெகோவாவே, நீர் எவ்வளவு காலத்திற்கு மறைந்திருப்பீர்? நீர் என்றென்றுமாய் மறைந்திருப்பீரோ? எவ்வளவு காலத்திற்கு உமது கோபம் நெருப்பைப்போல் பற்றியெரியும்?
O Yahweh, how long [will this continue]? Will you hide yourself forever? How long will your anger burn like a fire?
47 என் வாழ்வு எவ்வளவு துரிதமாய் முடிவடைகிறது என்பதை நினைத்துக்கொள்ளும்; பயனற்ற நோக்கத்திற்காகவா நீர் எல்லா மக்களையும் படைத்தீர்!
Do not forget that life is very short; have you created all us people in vain?
48 மரணத்தைக் காணாமல் யார் உயிரோடிருப்பான்? அல்லது யார் பாதாளத்தின் வல்லமையிலிருந்து தன்னைக் காப்பாற்றிக்கொள்வான்? (Sheol h7585)
No one can [RHQ] keep on living and never die; (No one can [RHQ] avoid going/Everyone will go) to the place of the dead. (Sheol h7585)
49 யெகோவாவே, நீர் உமது சத்தியத்தில் தாவீதுக்கு ஆணையிட்ட உமது முந்தைய உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பு எங்கே?
Yahweh, you promised long ago that you would faithfully love us; why are you not doing that? You solemnly promised that to David!
50 யெகோவாவே, உமது அடியவன் எவ்வளவாய் ஏளனம் செய்யப்பட்டிருக்கிறேன் என்பதையும் எல்லா நாட்டு மக்களின் நிந்தைகளை நான் என் இருதயத்தில் எவ்வாறு சகிக்கிறேன் என்பதையும் நினைத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
Yahweh, do not forget that people insult me! (Heathen people/People who do not know you) curse me!
51 யெகோவாவே, உமது பகைவர் ஏளனம் செய்த நிந்தனை வார்த்தைகளையும், நீர் அபிஷேகித்தவரின் ஒவ்வொரு காலடிகளையும் அவர்கள் ஏளனம் செய்ததையும் நினைத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
Yahweh, your enemies insult your chosen king! They insult/ridicule him wherever he goes.
52 யெகோவாவுக்கு என்றென்றைக்கும் துதி உண்டாவதாக!
I hope/desire that Yahweh will be praised forever! Amen! May it be so!
