சங்கீதம் 87

1 கோராகின் மகன்களின் பாட்டாகிய சங்கீதம். யெகோவா தமது அஸ்திபாரத்தைப் பரிசுத்த மலையில் அமைத்திருக்கிறார்.

A Psalm of the sons of Korah; a Song. His foundation is in the holy mountains.

2 யெகோவா யாக்கோபிலுள்ள எல்லா வாழ்விடங்களைப் பார்க்கிலும், சீயோனின் வாசல்களை நேசிக்கிறார்.

The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

3 இறைவனின் நகரமே, உன்னைக்குறித்து மகிமையான காரியங்கள் சொல்லப்படுகின்றன:

Glorious things are spoken of Thee, O city of God. (Selah)

4 “என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறவர்களோடு நான் ராகாபையும் பாபிலோனையும் குறித்து, ‘இவர்கள் சீயோனிலே பிறந்தவர்கள்’ என்று சொல்வேன்; பெலிஸ்தியாவையும் தீருவையும் எத்தியோப்பியாவையும் குறித்தும் அப்படியே சொல்வேன்.”

'I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as among them that know Me; behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this one was born there.'

5 உண்மையாகவே சீயோனைக் குறித்து, “இன்னார் இன்னார் அங்கே பிறந்தார்கள் என்றும், மகா உன்னதமானவர் தாமே அதை நிலைநிறுத்துவார்” என்றும் சொல்லப்படும்.

But of Zion it shall be said: 'This man and that was born in her; and the Most High Himself doth establish her.'

6 “இன்னார் சீயோனிலே பிறந்தார்” என்பதாக யெகோவா மக்களின் பதிவேட்டில் எழுதுவார்.

The LORD shall count in the register of the peoples: 'This one was born there.' (Selah)

7 அவர்கள் இசை மீட்டும்பொழுது, “எங்கள் ஊற்றுகள் எல்லாம் உம்மிலேயே இருக்கிறது” என்று பாடுவார்கள்.

And whether they sing or dance, all my thoughts are in Thee.
