சங்கீதம் 8

1 கித்தீத் வாத்தியத்தில் வாசிக்க பாடகர் குழுத் தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். எங்கள் ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவாவே, பூமியெங்கும் உமது பெயர் எவ்வளவு புகழ் உடையதாய் இருக்கிறது! நீர் வானங்களுக்கு மேலாக உமது மகிமையை வைத்திருக்கிறீர்.

Yahweh, our Lord, people all over the world know that you [MTY] are very great! Your glory reaches up higher than the heavens!

2 உமது எதிரிகளையும் பழிவாங்குபவர்களையும் ஒடுக்க, உமது பகைவர்களின் நிமித்தம் பிள்ளைகள் மற்றும் குழந்தைகளின் உதடுகளிலிருந்து வரும் துதியின் மூலமாக வல்லமையை உறுதிப்படுத்தினீர்.

You have taught little children and infants to praise you; they cause your enemies and those who try to (get revenge on/get rid of) you to be silent.

3 உமது விரல்களின் வேலைப்பாடான வானங்களையும் அவற்றில் நீர் பதித்து வைத்த சந்திரனையும் நட்சத்திரங்களையும் பற்றி நான் சிந்திக்கும்போது,

When I look up at the sky [at night], and see the things that you have made— the moon and the stars that you have set in place—

4 மனுக்குலத்தில் நீர் கரிசனை கொள்வதற்கும், மனிதரில் நீர் அக்கறை கொள்வதற்கும் அவர்கள் எம்மாத்திரம்?

it is amazing [to me] that [RHQ] you think about people, that you are concerned about [us] humans!

5 நீர் அவர்களை இறைத்தூதர்களைப் பார்க்கிலும் சற்று சிறியவர்களாகப் படைத்து, அவர்களை மகிமையினாலும் கனத்தினாலும் முடிசூட்டினீர்.

You made the angels in heaven to be only a little more important than we are; you caused us to be like kings [MET] and you gave us splendor and honor [DOU]!

6 உமது கைகளின் வேலைப்பாடுகளின்மேல் அவர்களை ஆளுநர்களாக்கினீர்; அனைத்தையும்:

You put us in charge of everything that you made; you gave us authority over all things—

7 எல்லா ஆட்டு மந்தைகளையும் மாட்டு மந்தைகளையும் காட்டு மிருகங்களையும்

the sheep and the cattle, and even the wild animals,

8 ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகளையும் கடல் மீன்களையும் கடற்பரப்பில் நீந்தும் அனைத்தையும் அவர்களுடைய பாதங்களுக்குக்கீழ் வைத்தீர்.

the birds, the fish, and everything [else] that swims in the seas.

9 எங்கள் ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவாவே, பூமியெங்கும் உமது பெயர் எவ்வளவு மாட்சிமை உடையதாய் இருக்கிறது!

Yahweh, our Lord, people all over the world know that you [MTY] are very great!
