சங்கீதம் 76

1 கம்பியிசைக் கருவிகளுடன் பாடி பாடகர் குழுத் தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட பாட்டாகிய ஆசாபின் சங்கீதம். யூதாவில் இறைவன் அறியப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்; இஸ்ரயேலில் அவருடைய பெயர் பெரியது.

To the chief Musician on Neginoth, A Psalm [or] Song of Asaph. In Judah [is] God known: his name [is] great in Israel.

2 அவருடைய கூடாரம் சாலேமில் இருக்கிறது; அவருடைய தங்குமிடம் சீயோனில் இருக்கிறது.

In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.

3 அங்கே அவர் தீப்பிழம்போடு பாயும் அம்புகளையும், கேடயங்களையும், வாள்களையும், போராயுதங்களையும் உடைத்தார்.

There he broke the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. (Selah)

4 நீர் ஒளியுள்ளவராய்த் துலங்குகிறீர்; வேட்டையாடும் மலைகளைப் பார்க்கிலும் அதிக கம்பீரமுடையவராய் இருக்கிறீர்.

Thou [art] more glorious [and] excellent than the mountains of prey.

5 வீரமுள்ள மனிதர் கொள்ளையிடப்பட்டு, அவர்கள் மரண நித்திரை அடைந்தார்கள்; போர்வீரரில் ஒருவனும் தன் கைகளை உயர்த்த முடியாமலிருக்கிறான்.

The stout-hearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.

6 யாக்கோபின் இறைவனே, உமது கோபத்தில் குதிரை, தேர் இரண்டுமே செயலிழந்து கிடக்கின்றன.

At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

7 நீரே, நீர் ஒருவருரே பயப்படத்தக்கவர்; நீர் கோபமாய் இருக்கும்போது உம்முன் யாரால் நிற்கமுடியும்?

Thou, [even] thou, [art] to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

8 நீர் வானத்திலிருந்து நியாயத்தீர்ப்பை வழங்கினீர்; பூமி பயந்து அமைதியாய் இருந்தது.

Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,

9 இறைவனே, நாட்டில் துன்புற்ற யாவரையும் காப்பாற்றுவதற்காக நீர் எழுந்தபோதே, அந்த நியாயத்தீர்ப்பை வழங்கினீர்.

When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. (Selah)

10 நிச்சயமாகவே, மனிதருக்கு விரோதமான உமது கோபம் உமக்குத் துதியைக் கொண்டுவருகிறது; உமது கடுங்கோபத்திற்குத் தப்பி மீந்தவர்களை நீர் அடக்குவீர்.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath wilt thou restrain.

11 உங்கள் யெகோவாவாகிய இறைவனுக்கு நேர்த்திக் கடன்களைச் செய்து, அவைகளை நிறைவேற்றுங்கள். அவரைச் சுற்றியிருக்கிற நாடுகளெல்லாம் பயப்படத்தக்கவரான அவருக்கே அன்பளிப்புகளைக் கொண்டுவரட்டும்.

Vow, and pay to the LORD your God: let all that are about him bring presents to him that ought to be feared.

12 அவர் ஆளுநர்களின் ஆவியை நொறுக்குகிறார்; பூமியின் அரசர்கள் அவருக்குப் பயப்படுகிறார்கள்.

He shall cut off the spirit of princes: [he is] terrible to the kings of the earth.
