சங்கீதம் 72
1 சாலொமோனின் சங்கீதம். இறைவனே, அரசனுக்கு உமது நியாயமான தீர்ப்பையும் இளவரசனுக்கு உமது நீதியையும் கொடும்.
Solomon’s. O God! thy justice, give, unto the king, And thy righteousness, unto the son of a king;
2 அப்பொழுது அவர் உமது மக்களை நீதியோடும், துன்பப்பட்ட உம்முடையவர்களை நேர்மை தவறாமலும் நியாயந்தீர்ப்பார்.
May he judge, Thy people with righteousness; And thine oppressed ones with justice;
3 மலைகள் அனைவருக்கும் செழிப்பை உண்டாக்கட்டும், குன்றுகள் நீதியின் பலனைக் கொண்டுவரட்டும்.
May the mountains bring peace to the people, And the hills [be laden] with righteousness;
4 மக்கள் மத்தியில் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களை அவர் பாதுகாத்து, ஏழைகளின் பிள்ளைகளைக் காப்பாற்றட்டும்; ஒடுக்குவோரை அவர் நொறுக்கிப்போடட்டும்.
May he, Vindicate the oppressed of the people, Bring deliverance to the children of the needy, and, Crush the oppressor.
5 சூரியனும் சந்திரனும் உள்ளமட்டும், தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக அவர்கள் உமக்குப் பயந்திருப்பார்கள்.
Let men revere thee, With the sun, And in presence of the moon, Unto the remotest generation.
6 அரசர் புல்வெட்டப்பட்ட வயலின்மேல் பொழியும் மழையைப்போலவும், பூமியை நீர்ப்பாய்ச்சும் மழைத்தூறலைப் போலவும் அரசரின் ஆட்சி புத்துணர்ச்சி அடையட்டும்.
Let him come down, Like rain on fields to be mown, Like myriad drops on land to be reaped.
7 அவருடைய நாட்களில் நீதிமான்கள் செழிப்பார்கள்; சந்திரனுள்ளவரைக்கும் மிகுந்த சமாதானம் இருக்கும்.
May righteousness, in his days, blossom forth, And abundance of peace, till there be no moon.
8 ஒரு கடலில் இருந்து மறுகடல் வரைக்கும், நதிதொடங்கி பூமியின் எல்லைகள் வரைக்கும் அரசர் ஆளுகை செய்யட்டும்.
So let him have dominion, From sea to sea, And from the River ["Euphrates"] unto the ends of the earth;
9 பாலைவன வாசிகள் அவருக்குமுன் பணிவார்கள்; அவருடைய பகைவர்கள் மண்ணை நக்குவார்கள்.
Before him, let the men of the desert kneel, But, as for his foes, the dust, let them lick;
10 தர்ஷீசு மற்றும் தூரத்து தீவுகளின் அரசர்கள் அவருக்கு காணிக்கைகளைக் கொண்டுவரட்டும்; ஷேபாவும், சேபாவின் அரசர்களும் அவருக்கு அன்பளிப்புகளைக் கொடுக்கட்டும்.
The kings of Tarshish and of the Coastlands, A gift, let them render, The kings of Sheba and Seba, A present, let them bring;
11 எல்லா அரசர்களும் அவரை வணங்கட்டும்; எல்லா நாடுகளும் அவருக்குப் பணிவிடை செய்யட்டும்.
Yea let all kings, bow down unto him, Let, all nations, serve him;
12 ஏனெனில் கதறுகின்ற ஏழைகளையும் உதவி செய்வாரின்றித் தவிக்கும் எளியோரையும் அவர் விடுவிப்பார்.
Because he Rescueth, The needy from the rich, The oppressed, who hath no helper;
13 பலவீனருக்கும் எளியோருக்கும் அவர் அனுதாபங்காட்டி, எளியோரை மரணத்திலிருந்து காப்பாற்றுவார்.
He Pitieth the weak and the needy, And, the lives of the needy, he Saveth:
14 அவர்களை ஒடுக்குதலுக்கும் வன்செயலுக்கும் தப்புவிப்பார்; ஏனெனில் அவர்களுடைய வாழ்க்கை அவருடைய பார்வையில் விலையுயர்ந்ததாய் இருக்கும்.
From extortion, and, violence, he Redeemeth their life, And precious is their blood in his sight.
15 அவர் நீடித்து வாழ்வாராக! சேபாவின் தங்கம் அவருக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படுவதாக; மக்கள் எக்காலத்திலும் அவருக்காக மன்றாடி, நாள்தோறும் அவரை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார்களாக.
Let him live, then! And be there given unto him of the gold of Sheba, —Let prayer also be offered for him continually, All the day, let him be blessed.
16 நாட்டிலே தானியம் மிகுதியாக விளையட்டும்; குன்றுகளின் உச்சியில் தானியக்கதிர்கள் அசையட்டும்; அதின் உற்பத்தி லெபனோனைப்போல செழிக்கட்டும்; அதின் பட்டணத்தார் வெளியின் புல்லைப்போல் செழித்து வளருவார்களாக.
May there be an abundance of corn in the earth, in the top of the mountains, —Let the fruit thereof, wave like Lebanon, And they of the city bloom like the fresh shoots of the earth.
17 அவருடைய பெயர் என்றும் நிலைத்திருப்பதாக; சூரியன் உள்ளமட்டும் அது தொடர்ந்திருப்பதாக. எல்லா நாடுகளும் அவர்மூலம் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டிருப்பார்கள்; அவர்கள் அவரை ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர் என்று அழைப்பார்கள்.
May his Name be age-abiding, In the presence of the sun, let his Name flourish, —And may all the families of the ground bless themselves in him, All nations, pronounce him happy!
18 இஸ்ரயேலின் இறைவனாயிருக்கிற, யெகோவாவாகிய இறைவனுக்குத் துதி உண்டாவதாக; அவர் அதிசயமான செயல்களைச் செய்கிறார்.
Blessed be Yahweh God, the God of Israel, —Who doeth wondrous things by himself alone;
19 அவருடைய மகத்துவமான பெயர் என்றென்றும் துதிக்கப்படுவதாக; பூமி முழுவதும் அவருடைய மகிமையால் நிரம்புவதாக.
And blessed be his glorious Name, unto times age-abiding, —And filled with his glory be all the earth, Amen and Amen!
20 ஈசாயின் மகன் தாவீதின் மன்றாட்டுகள் இத்துடன் நிறைவுபெறுகின்றன.
