சங்கீதம் 71
1 யெகோவாவே, நான் உம்மிடத்தில் தஞ்சமடைந்திருக்கிறேன்; என்னை ஒருபோதும் வெட்கமடைய விடாதேயும்.
In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be made ashamed.
2 உமது நீதியின் நிமித்தம் என்னை விடுவித்து, என்னை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளும்; உமது செவியை எனக்குச் சாய்த்து, என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்.
In thy righteousness do thou deliver me and release me: incline thy ear unto me, and save me.
3 நான் எப்பொழுதும் வந்தடையத்தக்க என் புகலிடமான கன்மலையாய் இரும்; நீர் என் கன்மலையும் என் கோட்டையுமாயிருப்பதால், என்னைக் காப்பாற்றக் கட்டளையிடும்.
Be thou unto me a rocky habitation, whereunto I may continually resort, which thou hast ordained to save me; for my rock and my strong-hold art thou.
4 என் இறைவனே, என்னைக் கொடியவன் கையிலிருந்து விடுவியும்; தீமையும் கொடூரமும் நிறைந்த மனிதரின் பிடியிலிருந்தும் விடுவியும்.
O my God, release me out of the hand of the wicked, out of the grasp of the unrighteous and violent man.
5 ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவாவே, நீரே என் எதிர்பார்ப்பு; என் இளமையிலிருந்து நீரே என் நம்பிக்கை.
For thou art my hope, O Lord Eternal: thou art my trust from my youth.
6 நான் பிறந்ததுமுதல் உம்மைச் சார்ந்திருக்கிறேன்; என் தாயின் கருப்பையிலிருந்து என்னைப் பராமரித்தவர் நீரே; நான் என்றென்றும் உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்.
By thee have I been supported from my birth: thou art he that took me out of my mother's womb: of thee is my praise continually.
7 நான் அநேகருக்கு வியப்புக்குரிய எடுத்துக்காட்டாய் இருக்கிறேன்; நீரே என் பலமுள்ள புகலிடம்.
As a wonderful token have I been unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.
8 நாள்முழுவதும் உம்முடைய மகத்துவத்தை அறிவித்து, என் வாய் உமது துதியினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது.
My mouth shall be filled with thy praise, and with thy glory all the day.
9 நான் முதியவனாகும்போது, என்னைத் தள்ளிவிடாதேயும்; என் பெலன் ஒடுங்கும்போது என்னைக் கைவிடாதேயும்.
Cast me not off in the time of old age: when my strength faileth, forsake me not.
10 ஏனெனில் என் பகைவர் எனக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பேசுகிறார்கள்; என்னைக் கொலைசெய்யக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்கள் ஒன்றுகூடி சதி செய்கிறார்கள்.
For my enemies speak of me; and they that watch for my soul take counsel together,
11 அவர்கள், “இறைவன் அவனைக் கைவிட்டுவிட்டார்; அவனைப் பின்தொடர்ந்து பிடியுங்கள்; அவனை விடுவிக்கிறவர் யாருமே இல்லை” என்கிறார்கள்.
Saying, “God hath forsaken him: pursue and seize him: for there is none to deliver.”
12 இறைவனே, என்னைவிட்டுத் தூரமாகாதேயும்; என் இறைவனே, எனக்கு உதவிசெய்ய விரைந்து வாரும்;
O God, be not far from me: O my God, hasten to my help.
13 என்மீது குற்றம் சுமத்துகிறவர்கள் வெட்கத்தால் அழிந்துபோவார்களாக; எனக்குத் தீங்குசெய்ய நினைக்கிறவர்கள், ஏளனத்தாலும் அவமானத்தாலும் மூடப்படுவார்களாக.
Let those be made ashamed, let them perish, that are adversaries to my soul: let those be covered with reproach and dishonor that seek my unhappiness.
14 நானோ எப்பொழுதுமே எதிர்பார்ப்புடனே இருப்பேன்; நான் மேன்மேலும் உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்.
But I will continually hope, and will add yet more to all thy praise.
15 எப்பொழுதும் என் வாய் உமது நீதியைப்பற்றிச் சொல்லும்; உமது இரட்சிப்பின் செயல்களை நான் அறியாதிருந்த போதிலும், அதைப்பற்றி நாள்தோறும் என் வாய் சொல்லும்.
My mouth shall relate thy righteousness, all the day thy salvation; for I know not their numbers.
16 ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவாவே, நான் உமது வல்லமையான செயல்களை எடுத்துச்சொல்வேன்; நான் உம்முடைய நீதியை மட்டுமே பிரசித்தம் பண்ணுவேன்.
I will come to praise the mighty deeds of the Lord Eternal: I will make mention of thy righteousness, yea, thine only.
17 இறைவனே, என் இளமையிலிருந்தே நீர் எனக்குப் போதித்திருக்கிறீர்; நான் உமது அற்புதமான செயல்களை இன்றுவரை அறிவித்து வருகிறேன்.
O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto I ever tell of thy wondrous deeds.
18 இறைவனே, வரப்போகும் எல்லோருக்கும் அடுத்த தலைமுறைக்கும் உமது ஆற்றலையும் உம்முடைய வல்லமையையும் அறிவிக்குமளவும் நான் முதிர்வயதாகும்போதும் என் தலைமுடி நரைக்கும்போதும், என்னைக் கைவிடாதேயும்.
Therefore also even in old age, and when I am grayheaded, O God, forsake me not: until I have told of thy strength unto [this] generation, to every one that may come of thy might.
19 பெரிய காரியங்களைச் செய்த இறைவனே, உமது நீதி ஆகாயங்களை எட்டுகிறது; இறைவனே, உம்மைப்போல் யாருண்டு?
And thy righteousness, O God, reacheth even to the height, thou, who hast done great things: O God, who is like thee!
20 நீர் என்னை அநேக கசப்பான துன்பங்களையும் காணச் செய்திருந்தாலும் என் வாழ்வை மீண்டும் புதுப்பிப்பீர்; பூமியின் ஆழங்களில் இருந்து நீர் என்னை மறுபடியும் மேலே கொண்டுவருவீர்.
Thou, who hast shown me great distresses and misfortunes, wilt again revive me; and from the depths of the earth wilt thou bring me up again.
21 நீர் என் மேன்மையைப் பெருகப்பண்ணி, மீண்டும் என்னைத் தேற்றுவீர்.
Thou wilt increase my greatness, and wilt turn round and comfort me.
22 என் இறைவனே, நான் உமது உண்மையைப் பற்றி வீணை இசைத்து உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்; இஸ்ரயேலின் பரிசுத்தரே, யாழ் இசைத்து நான் உமக்குத் துதி பாடுவேன்.
Also I, I will thank thee with the psaltery, [for] thy truth, O my God: I will sing unto thee with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel.
23 உம்மால் மீட்கப்பட்ட நான் உமக்குத் துதிபாடும்போது, என் உதடுகளும் கம்பீரித்து மகிழும்.
My lips shall shout joyfully when I sing unto thee; and my soul [too], which thou hast redeemed.
24 என் நாவு நாள்முழுவதும் உமது நீதியின் செயல்களைப் பற்றிச் சொல்லும்; ஏனெனில் எனக்குத் தீங்குசெய்ய விரும்பியவர்கள் வெட்கத்திற்கும் கலக்கத்திற்கும் உள்ளானார்கள்.
Also my tongue shall speak all the day of thy righteousness; for ashamed, for put to the blush are those that seek my unhappiness.
