சங்கீதம் 66

1 பாடகர் குழுத் தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட சங்கீதமாகிய பாட்டு. பூமியிலுள்ளவர்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் சந்தோஷத்துடன் இறைவனை ஆர்ப்பரித்துத் துதியுங்கள்!

Unto the end, a canticle of a psalm of the resurrection. Shout with joy to God, all the earth,

2 அவருடைய பெயரின் மகிமையைப் பாடுங்கள்; அவருடைய துதியை மகிமையுள்ளதாக்குங்கள்.

Sing ye a psalm to his name; give glory to his praise.

3 இறைவனிடம் சொல்லுங்கள், “உமது செயல்கள் எவ்வளவு பிரமிக்கத்தக்கவை! உமது வல்லமை பெரிதானது; அதினால் பகைவர்கள் உமக்கு வஞ்சகம் பேசி அடங்குவார்கள்.

Say unto God, How terrible are thy works, O Lord! in the multitude of thy strength thy enemies shall lie to thee.

4 பூமியிலுள்ள அனைவரும் உம்மைப் பணிந்து வழிபடுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் உமக்குத் துதி பாடுகிறார்கள், அவர்கள் உமது பெயருக்குத் துதி பாடுகிறார்கள்.”

Let all the earth adore thee, and sing to thee: let it sing a psalm to thy name.

5 இறைவன் செய்துள்ளவற்றை வந்து பாருங்கள்; மனிதரிடையே அவர் செய்யும் செயல்கள் எவ்வளவு பயப்படத்தக்கவை.

Come and see the works of God; who is terrible in his counsels over the sons of men.

6 அவர் கடலை வறண்ட நிலமாக மாற்றினார்; மக்கள் கால்நடையாய் தண்ணீரைக் கடந்தார்கள்; வாருங்கள், அவரில் களிகூருவோம்.

Who turneth the sea into dry land, in the river they shall pass on foot: there shall we rejoice in him.

7 அவர் தமது வல்லமையினால் என்றென்றைக்கும் அரசாளுகிறார்; அவருடைய கண்கள் நாடுகளைக் கவனித்துப் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன; கலகக்காரர் அவருக்கு எதிராக எழும்பாதிருக்கட்டும்.

Who by his power ruleth for ever: his eyes behold the nations; let not them that provoke him he exalted in themselves.

8 எல்லா மக்களும், நம்முடைய இறைவனைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவரைத் துதிக்கும் சத்தம் கேட்கப்படுவதாக.

O bless our God, ye Gentiles: and make the voice of his praise to be heard.

9 அவர் நம்முடைய உயிர்களைப் பாதுகாத்திருக்கிறார்; நம்முடைய பாதங்கள் சறுக்கிவிடாதபடி காத்துக்கொள்கிறார்.

Who hath set my soul to live: and hath not suffered my feet to be moved:

10 இறைவனே, நீர் எங்களைச் சோதித்துப் பார்த்தீர்; வெள்ளியைப்போல் எங்களைப் புடமிட்டுச் சுத்திகரித்தீர்.

For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us by fire, as silver is tried.

11 எங்களைச் சிறைபிடித்து, எங்கள் முதுகுகளில் பாரங்களை சுமத்தினீர்.

Thou hast brought us into a net, thou hast laid afflictions on our back:

12 மனிதரை எங்கள் தலையின்மேல் ஏறிப்போகச் செய்தீர்; நாங்கள் நெருப்பையும் தண்ணீரையும் கடந்துசென்றோம், ஆனால் நீர் எங்களைச் செழிப்பான இடத்திற்கு கொண்டுவந்தீர்.

Thou hast set men over our heads. We have passed through tire and water, and thou hast brought us out into a refreshment.

13 நான் தகன காணிக்கைகளுடன் உமது ஆலயத்திற்கு வருவேன்; எனது நேர்த்திக் கடன்களை நிறைவேற்றுவேன்.

I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,

14 நான் துன்பத்திலிருந்தபோது என் உதடுகளைத் திறந்து, என் வாயினால் சொன்ன நேர்த்திக் கடன்களைச் செய்வேன்.

Which my lips have uttered, And my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.

15 நான் கொழுத்த மிருகங்களையும் செம்மறியாட்டுக் கடாக்களையும் உமக்குப் பலியிடுவேன்; நான் எருதுகளையும் வெள்ளாடுகளையும் காணிக்கையாகச் செலுத்துவேன்.

I will offer up to thee holocausts full of marrow, with burnt offerings of rams: I will offer to thee bullocks with goats.

16 இறைவனுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறவர்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் வந்து, செவிகொடுங்கள்; அவர் எனக்குச் செய்தவற்றை நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்ல விரும்புகிறேன்.

Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will tell you what great things he hath done for my soul.

17 நான் என் வாயினால் அவரைச் சத்தமிட்டுக் கூப்பிட்டேன்; அவருடைய துதி என் நாவில் இருந்தது.

I cried to him with my mouth: and I extolled him with my tongue.

18 என் இருதயத்தில் பாவத்திற்கு இடமளித்திருந்தால், யெகோவா எனக்குச் செவிகொடுக்கமாட்டார்;

If I have looked at iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.

19 இறைவனோ நிச்சயமாய் எனக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, என் மன்றாட்டின் குரலைக் கேட்டார்.

Therefore hath God heard me, and hath attended to the voice of my supplication.

20 என் மன்றாட்டைத் தள்ளிவிடாமல், என்னிடமிருந்து தமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பை விலக்காமலிருந்த இறைவனுக்குத் துதி உண்டாகட்டும்.

Blessed be God, who hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
