சங்கீதம் 63

1 தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். யூதாவின் வனாந்திரத்திலிருக்கும்போது பாடியது. இறைவனே, நீரே என் இறைவன், நான் ஆர்வத்துடன் உம்மைத் தேடுகிறேன்; தண்ணீரில்லாமல் வறண்டதும், காய்ந்ததுமான நிலத்திலே என் ஆத்துமா உம்மேல் தாகமாக இருக்கிறது, என் உடலோ உமக்காக ஏங்குகிறது.

“A psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.” O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry land, and it is faint without water.

2 பரிசுத்த இடத்தில் நான் உம்மைக் கண்டேன்; உமது வல்லமையையும் உமது மகிமையையும் கண்டறிந்தேன்.

As I have beheld thee in the sanctuary, seeing thy strength and thy glory;

3 உமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பு உயிரைப் பார்க்கிலும் சிறந்தது; ஆகையால் என் உதடுகள் உம்மை மகிமைப்படுத்தும்.

Because thy kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee:

4 நான் உயிருடன் இருக்கும்வரை உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்; ஜெபத்தில் உமது பெயரைச் சொல்லி என் கைகளை உயர்த்துவேன்.

Thus will I bless thee while I live; in thy name will I lift up my hands.

5 அறுசுவை உணவுகளால் திருப்தியடைவது போல, என் ஆத்துமா திருப்தியடையும்; என் வாய் களிப்புள்ள உதடுகளினால் பாடி, உம்மைத் துதிக்கும்.

As with fat and marrow will my soul be satisfied; and with tuneful lips shall my mouth praise thee.

6 என் படுக்கையில் நான் உம்மை நினைக்கிறேன்; இராக்காலங்களில் உம்மை தியானம் செய்கிறேன்.

When I remember thee upon my couch, I meditate on thee in the night-watches.

7 நீரே என் உதவியாயிருப்பதால், உமது சிறகுகளின் நிழலிலே நான் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் பாடுவேன்.

Because thou hast been a help unto me; and in the shadow of thy wings will I sing rejoicingly.

8 நான் உம்மை விடாமல் பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்; உமது வலதுகரம் என்னைத் தாங்குகிறது.

My soul cleaveth unto following thee: me thy right hand upholdeth.

9 என் உயிரை அழிக்கத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் பூமியின் ஆழங்களில் இறங்குவார்கள்.

But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go down into the lowest deeps of the earth.

10 அவர்கள் வாளுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்படுவார்கள்; நரிகளுக்கு இரையாவார்கள்.

They shall be delivered up to the power of the sword: they shall become a prey for jackals.

11 ஆனால் அரசன் இறைவனில் மகிழ்வான்; இறைவனுடைய பெயரில் சத்தியம்பண்ணுகிற யாவரும் அவரில் மேன்மைபாராட்டுவார்கள்; பொய்யர்களுடைய வாய்களோ மூடப்படும்.

But the king shall rejoice in God: every one that sweareth by him shall glorify himself; for the mouth of those that speak falsehood shall be stopped.
