சங்கீதம் 50
1 ஆசாபின் சங்கீதம். வல்லமையுள்ள இறைவனாகிய யெகோவா பேசுகிறார், அவர் சூரியன் உதிக்கும் இடத்திலிருந்து, அது மறையும் இடம் வரையுமுள்ள முழு உலகத்தையும் அழைக்கிறார்.
A Melody of Asaph. El, Elohim, Yahweh, hath spoken, and culled the earth, From the rising of the sun, unto the going in thereof:
2 பூரண அழகுள்ள சீயோனிலிருந்து இறைவன் பிரகாசிக்கிறார்.
Out of Zion the perfection of beauty, God, hath shone forth.
3 நம்முடைய இறைவன் வருகிறார், அவர் மவுனமாய் இருக்கமாட்டார்; அவருக்கு முன்னாக நெருப்பு சுட்டெரித்துச் செல்கிறது; அவரைச் சுற்றிப் புயல் சீற்றத்துடன் வீசுகிறது.
Let our God come, and let him not keep silence! A fire—before him, shall devour, And, around him, hath it become exceeding tempestuous:
4 அவர் தமது மக்களை நியாயந்தீர்க்கும்படியாக, மேலேயுள்ள வானங்களையும் பூமியையும் அழைத்துச் சொல்கிறார்:
He calleth, Unto the heavens above, And unto the earth, That he may judge his people.
5 “பலியினால் என்னுடன் உடன்படிக்கை செய்த, பரிசுத்தவான்களை ஒன்றுகூட்டுங்கள்.”
Gather yourselves unto me—ye my men of lovingkindness, Who have solemnised my covenant over sacrifice.
6 வானங்கள் அவருடைய நீதியை அறிவிக்கின்றன; அவர் நியாதிபதியாகிய இறைவன்.
Now have the heavens declared his righteousness, Because, God, is, about to judge. (Selah)
7 “என் மக்களே, கேளுங்கள், நான் பேசுவேன்; இஸ்ரயேலே, நான் உனக்கு விரோதமாகச் சாட்சி கூறுவேன்: நான் இறைவன், நானே உங்கள் இறைவன்.
Hear, O my people, and I will speak, O Israel, and I will adjure thee, God, thine own God, I am: —
8 எப்பொழுதும் எனக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கும் உங்கள் பலிகளுக்காகவோ, அல்லது உங்கள் தகன காணிக்கைகளுக்காகவோ நான் உங்களைக் கண்டிக்கவில்லை.
Not, for thy sacrifices, will I reprove thee, Nor for thine ascending-offerings, before me continually:
9 உங்கள் வீட்டிலிலுள்ள காளைகளோ, உங்கள் தொழுவத்திலுள்ள வெள்ளாடுகளோ எனக்கு வேண்டியதில்லை.
I will not take out of thy house—a bullock, Nor out of thy folds—he-goats;
10 ஏனெனில் காட்டிலுள்ள எல்லா மிருகங்களும் ஆயிரக்கணக்கான குன்றுகளிலுள்ள ஆடுமாடுகளும் என்னுடையவைகள்.
For, mine, is every wild-beast of the forest, The cattle on the mountains, in their thousands;
11 மலைகளிலுள்ள ஒவ்வொரு பறவையையும் நான் அறிவேன்; வயல்வெளிகளிலுள்ள உயிரினங்களும் என்னுடையவைகள்.
I know every bird of the mountains, And, the moving things of the plain, are with me:
12 நான் பசியாயிருந்தால் உங்களிடம் சொல்லமாட்டேன்; ஏனெனில் உலகமும் அதிலுள்ள யாவும் என்னுடையவைகள்.
If I were hungry, I would not tell thee, For, mine, is the world, and the fulness thereof.
13 நான் காளைகளின் இறைச்சியை உண்டு, ஆட்டுக்கடாக்களின் இரத்தத்தைக் குடிப்பேனோ?
Will I eat the flesh of mighty oxen? Or, the blood of he-goats, will I drink?
14 “நீங்கள் இறைவனாகிய எனக்கு உங்கள் நன்றிக் காணிக்கைகளைப் பலியிடுங்கள்; மகா உன்னதமான இறைவனாகிய எனக்கு உங்கள் நேர்த்திக் கடன்களை நிறைவேற்றுங்கள்.
Sacrifice to God a thankoffering, And pay to the Most High thy vows;
15 துன்ப நாளில் என்னை நோக்கி மன்றாடிக் கூப்பிடுங்கள், நான் உங்களை விடுவிப்பேன்; நீங்கள் என்னை மகிமைப்படுத்துவீர்கள்.”
Call upon me, then, in the day of distress, I will deliver thee, that thou mayest glorify me.
16 கொடியவர்களுக்கு இறைவன் சொல்கிறதாவது: “என் சட்டங்களைக் கூறுவதற்கும், என் உடன்படிக்கையை உங்கள் உதடுகளினால் உச்சரிப்பதற்கும் உங்களுக்கு என்ன உரிமை இருக்கிறது?
But, to the lawless one, God saith, What hast, thou, to do, to recount my statutes? Or that thou hast taken up my covenant upon thy mouth?
17 என்னுடைய அறிவுறுத்தலை வெறுத்து, என் வார்த்தைகளை உங்களுக்குப் பின்னாக எறிந்துவிடுகிறீர்கள்.
Seeing that, thou, hast hated correction, And hast cast my words behind thee;
18 நீங்கள் திருடனைக் காணும்போது அவனோடு சேர்ந்துகொள்கிறீர்கள்; விபசாரக்காரருடனும் நீங்கள் பங்குகொள்கிறீர்கள்.
If thou sawest a thief, then didst thou run with him, —And, with adulterers, hath been thy chosen life;
19 நீங்கள் உங்கள் வாயைத் தீமைக்காக பயன்படுத்துகிறீர்கள்; உங்கள் நாவை வஞ்சகத்தைப் பேசப் பயன்படுத்துகிறீர்கள்.
Thy mouth, hast thou thrust into wickedness, And, thy tongue, kept weaving deceit;
20 நீங்கள் உங்கள் சகோதரனுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பேசுகிறீர்கள்; இடைவிடாமல் உங்கள் சகோதரனையே தூற்றுகிறீர்கள்.
Thou wouldst sit down—Against thine own brother, wouldst thou speak, Against thine own mother’s son, wouldst thou expose a fault: —
21 இவற்றை நீங்கள் செய்தபோது நான் மவுனமாய் இருந்தேன்; நானும் உங்களைப்போலவே இருப்பேன் என்று நினைத்தீர்கள். ஆனால் நான் உங்களைக் கடிந்துகொண்டு, உங்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகவே உங்களைக் குற்றஞ்சாட்டுவேன்.
These things, hast thou done, and I have kept silence, Thou thoughtest that I should really be like thyself, I will convict thee, yea I will set [thine offences] in order before thine eyes.
22 “இறைவனை மறக்கிறவர்களே, இதைக் கவனியுங்கள்; இல்லாவிட்டால் நான் உங்களை முற்றிலும் தண்டித்துப் போடுவேன்; ஒருவரும் உங்களைத் தப்புவிக்கமாட்டார்கள்.
Understand this, I pray you, ye forgetters of GOD, Lest I tear in pieces, and there be none to deliver: —
23 நன்றி பலியைச் செலுத்துகிறவன் என்னைக் கனம்பண்ணுகிறான்; இறைவனாகிய என் இரட்சிப்பை நான் குற்றமற்றவனுக்குக் காண்பிப்பேன்.”
He that sacrificeth a thankoffering, will glorify me, —And will prepare a way by which I may show him the salvation of God.
