சங்கீதம் 47

1 கோராகின் மகன்களிலுள்ள பாடகர் குழுத் தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட சங்கீதம். நாடுகளே, நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் உங்கள் கைகளைத் தட்டுங்கள்; மகிழ்ச்சியின் சத்தத்துடன் ஆர்ப்பரித்து இறைவனைத் துதியுங்கள்.

“For the leader of the music. A psalm of the sons of Korah.” O clap your hands, all ye nations! Shout unto God with the voice of triumph!

2 உன்னதமானவராகிய யெகோவா அச்சத்திற்கு உரியவர், அவர் பூமி முழுவதற்கும் மகா அரசர்.

For terrible is Jehovah, the Most High, The great king over all the earth.

3 அவர் மக்களை நமக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தினார், மக்கள் கூட்டத்தை நம்முடைய பாதங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்தினார்.

He hath subdued nations under us, And kingdoms under our feet;

4 இறைவன் தமக்கு அன்பான யாக்கோபியரை, தமது உரிமைச்சொத்தாக தேர்ந்தெடுப்பார்.

He hath chosen for us an inheritance, The glory of Jacob, whom he loved. (Pause)

5 இறைவன் மகிழ்ச்சியின் ஆரவாரத்தின் மத்தியில் எழுந்தருளினார்; யெகோவா எக்காள சத்தத்தோடும் உயர்த்தப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்.

God goeth up with a shout; Jehovah with the sound of the trumpet.

6 இறைவனுக்குத் துதிகளைப் பாடுங்கள், துதிகளைப் பாடுங்கள்; நமது அரசருக்குத் துதிகளைப் பாடுங்கள், துதிகளைப் பாடுங்கள்.

Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our king, sing praises!

7 ஏனெனில் இறைவனே பூமி முழுவதற்கும் அரசராய் இருக்கிறார்; அவருக்குத் துதியின் சங்கீதத்தைப் பாடுங்கள்.

For God is king of all the earth; Sing to him hymns of praise!

8 இறைவன் நாடுகளுக்கு மேலாக ஆளுகை செய்கிறார்; அவர் தமது பரிசுத்த சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் அமர்ந்திருக்கிறார்.

God reigneth over the nations; God sitteth upon his holy throne.

9 மக்களின் தலைவர்கள், ஆபிரகாமின் இறைவனுடைய மக்களாக ஒன்றுகூடுகிறார்கள். ஏனெனில் பூமியின் அரசர்கள் இறைவனுக்கே உரியவர்கள்; அவர் மிகவும் புகழ்ந்து உயர்த்தப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்.

The princes of the nations gather themselves together To the people of the God of Abraham; For the mighty of the earth belong to God; He is supremely exalted.
