சங்கீதம் 37

1 தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். தீயவர்களைக் குறித்து பதற்றமடையாதே; அநியாயம் செய்பவர்கள்மேல் பொறாமை கொள்ளாதே.

A Psalme of David. Fret not thy selfe because of the wicked men, neither be enuious for the euill doers.

2 ஏனெனில் அவர்கள் புல்லைப்போல் விரைவாய் உலர்ந்து போவார்கள்; பச்சைத் தாவரத்தைப்போல் விரைவில் வாடிப்போவார்கள்.

For they shall soone bee cut downe like grasse, and shall wither as the greene herbe.

3 யெகோவாவிடம் நம்பிக்கையாயிருந்து நன்மைசெய்; நாட்டில் குடியிருந்து, பாதுகாப்பாய் மேய்ச்சலில் மகிழ்ந்திரு.

Trust thou in the Lord and do good: dwell in the land, and thou shalt be fed assuredly.

4 யெகோவாவிடம் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாயிரு, அப்பொழுது அவர் உன் இருதயத்தின் வாஞ்சைகளை உனக்குத் தருவார்.

And delite thy selfe in the Lord, and hee shall giue thee thine hearts desire.

5 யெகோவாவிடம் உன் வழியை ஒப்புவி; அவரில் நம்பிக்கையாயிரு, அப்பொழுது அவர் உனக்காக இவைகளைச் செய்வார்.

Commit thy way vnto the Lord, and trust in him, and he shall bring it to passe.

6 அவர் உன் நீதியை காலை வெளிச்சத்தைப் போலவும், உன் நியாயத்தை பட்டப்பகலைப் போலவும் ஒளிரச் செய்வார்.

And he shall bring foorth thy righteousnes as the light, and thy iudgement as the noone day.

7 யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாக அமைதியாய் இருந்து, அவருக்காகப் பொறுமையுடன் காத்திரு; மனிதர் தங்கள் வழிகளில் வெற்றி காணும்போதும் அவர்கள் தங்கள் பொல்லாத திட்டங்களைச் செயல்படுத்தும்போதும் நீ பதற்றமடையாதே.

Waite patiently vpon the Lord and hope in him: fret not thy selfe for him which prospereth in his way: nor for the man that bringeth his enterprises to passe.

8 கோபத்தை அடக்கு, கடுங்கோபத்தை விட்டுவிலகு; பதற்றமடையாதே; அது உன்னைத் தீமைக்கு மட்டுமே வழிநடத்தும்.

Cease from anger, and leaue off wrath: fret not thy selfe also to doe euill.

9 ஏனெனில், தீயவர் முற்றிலும் அழிந்துபோவார்கள்; ஆனால் யெகோவாவிடம் எதிர்பார்ப்பாய் இருக்கிறவர்கள் நாட்டை உரிமையாக்கிக்கொள்வார்கள்.

For euill doers shalbe cut off, and they that wait vpon the Lord, they shall inherite the land.

10 இன்னும் சிறிது நேரத்தில் கொடியவர்கள் இல்லாமல் போவார்கள்; நீ அவர்களைத் தேடினாலும் அவர்கள் காணப்படமாட்டார்கள்.

Therefore yet a litle while, and the wicked shall not appeare, and thou shalt looke after his place, and he shall not be found.

11 ஆனால் சாந்தமுள்ளவர்கள், நாட்டை உரிமையாக்கிக்கொண்டு, சமாதானத்தின் செழிப்பை அனுபவிப்பார்கள்.

But meeke men shall possesse the earth, and shall haue their delite in the multitude of peace.

12 கொடியவர்கள் நீதிமான்களுக்கு விரோதமாகச் சதிசெய்து, அவர்களைப் பார்த்து பற்கடிக்கிறார்கள்.

The wicked practiseth against the iust, and gnasheth his teeth against him.

13 ஆனால் யெகோவா கொடியவர்களைப் பார்த்து நகைக்கிறார்; அவர்களுடைய முடிவுகாலம் வருகிறதென அவர் அறிகிறார்.

But the Lord shall laugh him to scorne: for he seeth, that his day is comming.

14 ஏழைகளையும் எளியோரையும் வீழ்த்துவதற்கும், நேர்மையான வழியில் நடப்பவர்களை கொலைசெய்வதற்கும் கொடியவர்கள் வாளை உருவி வில்லை வளைக்கிறார்கள்.

The wicked haue drawen their sworde, and haue bent their bowe, to cast downe the poore and needie, and to slay such as be of vpright conuersation.

15 ஆனால் அவர்களுடைய வாள்கள் அவர்களுடைய இருதயங்களையே ஊடுருவக்குத்தும்; அவர்களுடைய வில்லுகளும் முறிக்கப்படும்.

But their sword shall enter into their owne heart, and their bowes shalbe broken.

16 கொடியவர்களின் மிகுந்த செல்வத்தைப் பார்க்கிலும், நீதிமான்களிடம் இருக்கும் சிறிதளவே சிறந்தது.

A small thing vnto the iust man is better, then great riches to the wicked and mightie.

17 ஏனெனில் கொடியவர்களின் பலம் உடைக்கப்படும்; நீதிமான்களையோ யெகோவா தாங்குகிறார்.

For the armes of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord vpholdeth the iust men.

18 குற்றமற்றவர்களின் நாட்களை யெகோவா அறிந்திருக்கிறார்; அவர்களுடைய உரிமைச்சொத்து என்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கும்.

The Lord knoweth the dayes of vpright men, and their inheritance shall bee perpetuall.

19 அழிவு காலத்தில் அவர்கள் தளர்ந்து போகமாட்டார்கள்; பஞ்ச காலங்களிலும் நிறைவை அனுபவிப்பார்கள்.

They shall not be confounded in the perilous time, and in the daies of famine they shall haue ynough.

20 ஆனால் கொடியவர்களோ அழிந்துபோவார்கள், யெகோவாவின் பகைவர்கள் வயலின் பூவைப்போல் இருந்தாலும், அவர்கள் எரிந்து புகையைப்போல் இல்லாது ஒழிவார்கள்.

But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be consumed as the fatte of lambes: euen with the smoke shall they consume away.

21 கொடியவர்கள் கடன்வாங்கித் திருப்பிக்கொடுக்காமல் விட்டுவிடுகிறார்கள்; ஆனால் நீதிமான்கள் தாராள மனதுடன் கொடுக்கிறார்கள்.

The wicked boroweth and payeth not againe. but the righteous is mercifull, and giueth.

22 யெகோவாவினால் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படுகிறவர்கள் நாட்டைத் தங்களுக்குச் சொந்தமாக்கிக்கொள்வார்கள்; அவரால் சபிக்கப்படுகிறவர்களோ அழிந்துபோவார்கள்.

For such as be blessed of God, shall inherite the lande, and they that be cursed of him, shalbe cut off.

23 ஒரு மனிதனுடைய வழியில் யெகோவா பிரியமாயிருந்தால், அவனுடைய காலடிகளை அவர் உறுதியாக்குகிறார்.

The pathes of man are directed by the Lord: for he loueth his way.

24 அவன் இடறினாலும் விழமாட்டான்; ஏனெனில், யெகோவா தமது கரத்தினால் அவனைத் தாங்கிப் பிடிக்கிறார்.

Though he fall, hee shall not be cast off: for the Lord putteth vnder his hand.

25 நான் வாலிபனாயிருந்தேன், இப்போது முதியவனாய் இருக்கிறேன்; ஆனால் நீதிமான்கள் கைவிடப்பட்டதையோ, அவர்களுடைய பிள்ளைகள் உணவுக்காக பிச்சையெடுத்ததையோ நான் ஒருபோதும் காணவில்லை.

I haue beene yong, and am olde: yet I sawe neuer the righteous forsaken, nor his seede begging bread.

26 நீதிமான் எப்பொழுதும் தாராளமாய்க் கடன் கொடுக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய பிள்ளைகள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படுவார்கள்.

But hee is euer mercifull and lendeth, and his seede enioyeth the blessing.

27 தீமையிலிருந்து விலகி நன்மையைச் செய்; அப்பொழுது நீ என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருப்பாய்.

Flee from euill and doe good, and dwell for euer.

28 ஏனெனில் யெகோவா நியாயத்தில் பிரியப்படுகிறார்; தமக்கு உண்மையாய் இருப்பவர்களைக் கைவிடவுமாட்டார். அவர்கள் என்றென்றும் பாதுகாக்கப்படுவார்கள். ஆனால் கொடியவர்களின் சந்ததியோ அழிந்துபோம்.

For the Lord loueth iudgement, and forsaketh not his Saintes: they shall be preserued for euermore: but the seede of the wicked shall be cut off.

29 நீதிமான்கள் நாட்டைத் தங்களுக்கு சொந்தமாக்கி, அதில் என்றும் குடியிருப்பார்கள்.

The righteous men shall inherit the lande, and dwell therein for euer.

30 நீதிமான்களின் வாய் ஞானத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தும்; அவர்களுடைய நாவு நியாயத்தைப் பேசும்.

The mouth of the righteous will speake of wisedome, and his tongue will talke of iudgement.

31 இறைவனின் சட்டம் அவர்களுடைய இருதயத்தில் இருக்கிறது; அவர்களுடைய கால்கள் சறுக்குவதில்லை.

For the Lawe of his God is in his heart, and his steppes shall not slide.

32 நீதிமான்களைக் கொல்லும்படி, கொடியவர்கள் அவர்களைப் பிடிக்கப் பதுங்கிக் காத்திருக்கிறார்கள்.

The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.

33 ஆனால் யெகோவா, நீதிமான்களை கொடியவர்களின் கையில் விடுவதுமில்லை; நியாய்ந்தீர்க்கப்பட வரும்போது குற்றவாளிகளாக்க இடமளிப்பதுமில்லை.

But the Lord wil not leaue him in his hand, nor condemne him, when he is iudged.

34 யெகோவாவை எதிர்பார்த்திருந்து, அவருடைய வழியைக் கைக்கொள். நீ நாட்டை சொந்தமாக்கிக் கொள்ளும்படி, அவர் உன்னை உயர்த்துவார்; கொடியவர்கள் அழிந்துபோவார்கள், நீ அதைக் காண்பாய்.

Waite thou on the Lord, and keepe his way, and he shall exalt thee, that thou shalt inherite the lande: when the wicked men shall perish, thou shalt see.

35 கொடியவனும் ஈவு இரக்கமற்றவனுமான ஒருவனைக் கண்டேன்; அவன் ஒரு பச்சைமரம் தனக்கேற்ற மண்ணில் செழித்திருப்பதைப் போல வளர்ந்தான்.

I haue seene the wicked strong, and spreading himselfe like a greene bay tree.

36 ஆனால் அவன் விரைவாக ஒழிந்துபோனான்; நான் அவனைத் தேடியும்கூட அவனைக் காணவில்லை.

Yet he passed away, and loe, he was gone, and I sought him, but he could not be founde.

37 குற்றமற்றவனைக் கவனித்துப்பார், நேர்மையானவனை நோக்கிப்பார்; சமாதானமாய் இருக்கிற மனிதனுக்கு நல்ல எதிர்காலம் உண்டு.

Marke the vpright man, and beholde the iust: for the end of that man is peace.

38 ஆனால் குற்றவாளிகள் அனைவரும் அழிக்கப்படுவார்கள்; கொடியவர்களுக்கு எதிர்காலம் இல்லாமல் போகும்.

But the transgressours shall be destroyed together, and the ende of the wicked shall bee cut off.

39 நீதிமான்களின் இரட்சிப்பு யெகோவாவிடமிருந்து வரும்; கஷ்டமான காலத்தில் அவரே அவர்களின் அரணாய் இருக்கிறார்.

But the saluation of the righteous men shalbe of the Lord: he shalbe their strength in the time of trouble.

40 யெகோவா அவர்களுக்கு உதவிசெய்து அவர்களை விடுவிக்கிறார்; அவர்கள் யெகோவாவிடத்தில் தஞ்சம் அடைந்திருக்கிறபடியால், கொடியவர்களிடமிருந்து அவர்களை விடுவித்து இரட்சிக்கிறார்.

For the Lord shall helpe them, and deliuer them: he shall deliuer them from the wicked, and shall saue them, because they trust in him.
