சங்கீதம் 33
1 நீதிமான்களே, நீங்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் யெகோவாவுக்குத் துதி பாடுங்கள்; அவரைத் துதிப்பது நேர்மையுள்ளவர்களுக்குத் தகுதியானது.
Let those who do good shout for joy—those who live right should praise him!
2 யாழ் இசைத்து யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள்; பத்து நரம்பு வீணையினால் அவருக்கு இசை பாடுங்கள்.
Praise the Lord with the lyre, play music to him on the ten-stringed harp.
3 அவருக்குப் புதுப்பாட்டைப் பாடுங்கள்; திறமையாக இசைத்து மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் ஆர்ப்பரியுங்கள்.
Sing a new song to him; play your instruments well and shout for joy.
4 யெகோவாவினுடைய வார்த்தை சத்தியமும், அவருடைய செயல்களெல்லாம் உண்மையானதுமாய் இருக்கிறது.
For the word of the Lord is true, and he is trustworthy in everything he does.
5 யெகோவா நீதியையும் நியாயத்தையும் விரும்புகிறார்; பூமி முழுவதுமே அவருடைய உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது.
He loves all that is good and right; the earth is full of the Lord's trustworthy love.
6 யெகோவாவினுடைய வார்த்தையினாலே வானங்கள் படைக்கப்பட்டன, அவருடைய வாயின் சுவாசத்தினால் வான்கோள்கள் யாவும் படைக்கப்பட்டன.
The Lord spoke the word and the heavens were made; his mouth breathed all the stars into existence.
7 அவர் கடல்நீரைச் ஜாடிகளில் சேர்த்துவைக்கிறார்; ஆழத்தை களஞ்சியங்களில் வைக்கிறார்.
He gathers the waters of the sea together, he keeps the ocean depths in store.
8 பூமி அனைத்தும் யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயப்படுவதாக; உலகின் மக்கள் அனைவரும் அவரிடம் பயபக்தியாய் இருப்பார்களாக.
Let all the earth show reverence to the Lord; let all the world's inhabitants be in awe of him.
9 ஏனெனில் அவர் சொல்ல, உலகம் உண்டாயிற்று; அவர் கட்டளையிட்டார், அது உறுதியாய் நின்றது.
For he spoke and the world came into existence; he gave the command and it was created.
10 யெகோவா நாடுகளின் திட்டங்களை முறியடிக்கிறார்; அவர் மக்களின் நோக்கங்களைத் தடுக்கிறார்.
The Lord foils the decisions of the nations, he frustrates the plans of the peoples,
11 ஆனால் யெகோவாவின் ஆலோசனை என்றென்றும் உறுதியாகவும், அவருடைய இருதயத்தின் நோக்கங்கள் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாகவும் நிலைநிற்கும்.
But the Lord's plan stands forever—what he decides lasts for all generations.
12 எந்த மக்கள் யெகோவாவைத் தங்கள் இறைவனாகக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்களோ, எந்த மக்களை அவர் தமது உரிமைச்சொத்தாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்டாரோ அவர்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்.
Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he has chosen as specially belonging to him.
13 யெகோவா பரலோகத்திலிருந்து கீழே நோக்கிப்பார்த்து, எல்லா மனிதர்களையும் காண்கிறார்;
The Lord looks from heaven and sees the whole of humanity,
14 தமது சிங்காசனத்திலிருந்து பூமியில் வாழும் அனைவரையும் கவனிக்கிறார்.
from his throne he watches all those who live on earth.
15 அனைவருடைய இருதயங்களையும் உருவாக்கும் யெகோவா, அவர்கள் செய்யும் எல்லாவற்றையும் கவனிக்கிறார்.
He created their minds, so he knows everything they do.
16 எந்த ஒரு அரசனும் தனது படைபலத்தால் காப்பாற்றப்படுவதில்லை; எந்த ஒரு போர்வீரனும் தனது மிகுந்த வலிமையினால் தப்புவதுமில்லை.
Even the greatest army cannot save a king; the greatest strength cannot save a warrior.
17 விடுதலை பெறுவதற்கு குதிரையை நம்புவது வீண்; அதற்கு மிகுந்த வலிமை இருந்தபோதிலும், அதினால் காப்பாற்ற முடியாது.
Don't deceive yourself: a warhorse can't give you victory—even its incredible strength won't save you.
18 யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயந்து, அவருடைய உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பில் நம்பிக்கையாய் இருக்கிறவர்கள்மேல் அவருடைய கண்கள் நோக்கமாயிருந்து,
The Lord watches over those who reverently follow him, those who place their hope in his trustworthy love
19 மரணத்திலிருந்து அவர்களை விடுவிக்கிறார், பஞ்சத்தில் அவர்களை உயிரோடே காக்கிறார்.
to save them from death and to keep them alive when famine strikes.
20 நாங்கள் யெகோவாவுக்காக எதிர்பார்த்துக் காத்திருக்கிறோம்; அவரே எங்களுக்கு உதவியும் எங்கள் கேடயமுமாய் இருக்கிறார்.
We place our confidence in the Lord; he is our help and our defender.
21 நாங்கள் அவருடைய பரிசுத்த பெயரில் நம்பிக்கையாய் இருப்பதால் எங்கள் இருதயங்கள் அவரில் மகிழ்கின்றன.
We are so happy about him, for we trust in his holy character.
22 யெகோவாவே, நாங்கள் உம்மை நம்பியிருக்கிறபடியே, உமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பு எங்கள்மேல் இருப்பதாக.
Lord, let your trustworthy love rest upon us as we hope in you.
