சங்கீதம் 31

1 பாடகர் குழுத் தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். யெகோவாவே, நான் உம்மிடத்தில் தஞ்சமடைந்திருக்கிறேன்; என்னை ஒருபோதும் வெட்கமடைய விடாதேயும்; உமது நீதியினிமித்தம் என்னை விடுவியும்.

To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. In thee, Jehovah, do I trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.

2 உமது செவியை எனக்குச் சாய்த்து, என்னைத் தப்புவிக்க விரைவாய் வாரும்; என் புகலிடமான கன்மலையாகவும், என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும் பலமான கோட்டையாகவும் இரும்.

Incline thine ear to me, deliver me speedily; be a strong rock to me, a house of defence to save me.

3 நீர் என் கன்மலையும் என் கோட்டையுமாயிருப்பதால், உமது பெயரின் நிமித்தம் எனக்கு வழிகாட்டி என்னை வழிநடத்தும்.

For thou art my rock and my fortress; and, for thy name's sake, thou wilt lead me and guide me.

4 நீரே என் புகலிடம், ஆகையால் எனக்காக வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் கண்ணியிலிருந்து என்னை விடுவியும்.

Draw me out of the net that they have hidden for me; for thou art my strength.

5 உமது கைகளில் என் ஆவியை ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கிறேன்; யெகோவாவே, என் உண்மையின் இறைவனே, என்னை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளும்.

Into thy hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, Jehovah, [thou] God of truth.

6 இறைவனல்லாதவைகளைப் பற்றிக்கொள்கிறவர்களை நான் வெறுக்கிறேன்; நான் யெகோவாவிடம் நம்பிக்கையாய் இருக்கிறேன்.

I have hated them that observe lying vanities; and as for me, I have confided in Jehovah.

7 நான் உமது அன்பில் மகிழ்ந்து களிகூருவேன்; ஏனெனில், நீர் என் வேதனையைக் கண்டு, என் ஆத்தும துயரத்தை அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்.

I will be glad and rejoice in thy loving-kindness, for thou hast seen mine affliction; thou hast known the troubles of my soul,

8 நீர் என்னை என் பகைவனிடத்தில் ஒப்புக்கொடாமல், விசாலமான இடத்தில் என் பாதங்களை நிறுத்தினீர்.

And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large place.

9 யெகோவாவே, நான் துன்பத்தில் இருப்பதால், என்னில் இரக்கமாயிரும்; துக்கத்தினால் என் கண்கள் பலவீனமடைகின்றன; துயரத்தினால் என் ஆத்துமாவும் உடலும் பெலனில்லாமல் போகின்றன.

Be gracious unto me, Jehovah, for I am in trouble: mine eye wasteth away with vexation, my soul and my belly.

10 என் வாழ்க்கை வேதனையிலேயே கழிந்துபோயிற்று; அழுது புலம்பியே என் வருடங்களும் கடந்துபோயிற்று. என் துன்பத்தினால் என் பெலம் குன்றி, என் எலும்புகளும் பெலனற்றுப் போகின்றன.

For my life is spent with sorrow, and my years with sighing; my strength faileth through mine iniquity, and my bones are wasted.

11 என் பகைவர்கள் அனைவரின் நிமித்தம் நான் என் அயலாருக்கு நிந்தையாகிறேன்; என் நண்பர்களுக்கு நான் பயங்கரமானேன்; தெருவில் என்னைக் காண்பவர்கள் என்னைவிட்டு விலகி ஓடிப்போனார்கள்.

More than to all mine oppressors, I am become exceedingly a reproach, even to my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that see me without flee from me.

12 நான் இறந்துவிட்ட ஒருவனைப் போல, அவர்கள் என்னை மறந்துபோனார்கள்; நான் ஓர் உடைந்த பாத்திரத்தைப் போலானேன்.

I am forgotten in [their] heart as a dead man; I am become like a broken vessel.

13 அநேகர் என்னை அவதூறாய்ப் பேசுகிறதைக் கேட்கிறேன், “எல்லாப் பக்கங்களிலும் பயங்கரம் இருக்கிறது!” அவர்கள் எனக்கு விரோதமாக சூழ்ச்சிசெய்து, என் உயிரை வாங்க சதித்திட்டம் போடுகிறார்கள்.

For I have heard the slander of many — terror on every side — when they take counsel together against me: they plot to take away my life.

14 ஆனாலும் யெகோவாவே, நான் உம்மிலேயே நம்பிக்கையாய் இருக்கிறேன்; “நீரே என் இறைவன்” என்று நான் சொன்னேன்.

But I confided in thee, Jehovah; I said, thou art my God.

15 என் நாட்கள் உமது கரங்களில் இருக்கிறது; என் பகைவரிடமிருந்தும் என்னைத் துரத்துகிறவரிடமிருந்தும் விடுவியும்.

My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from my persecutors.

16 உமது அடியேன்மேல் உமது முகத்தைப் பிரகாசிக்கச் செய்யும்; உமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பினால் என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்.

Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; save me in thy loving-kindness.

17 யெகோவாவே, என்னை வெட்கப்பட விடாதேயும்; நான் உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டேன்; கொடியவர்கள் வெட்கப்பட்டு பாதாளத்தில் மவுனமாய்க் கிடக்கட்டும். (Sheol h7585)

Jehovah, let me not be ashamed; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, let them be silent in Sheol. (Sheol h7585)

18 பெருமையோடும் அகந்தையோடும், நீதிமான்களுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் பேசும் அவர்களுடைய பொய் உதடுகள் ஊமையாகட்டும்.

Let the lying lips become dumb, which speak insolently against the righteous in pride and contempt.

19 உமக்குப் பயப்படுகிறவர்களுக்காக நீர் குவித்து வைத்திருக்கும் நன்மைகள் எவ்வளவு பெரிதாயிருக்கின்றன; உம்மிடத்தில் தஞ்சம் அடைகிறவர்கள்மேல், மனிதர் காணும்படியாக நீர் பொழிகின்ற நன்மைகள் எவ்வளவு பெரிதாயிருக்கின்றன.

[Oh] how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee, [which] thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee, before the sons of men!

20 நீர் அவர்களை மனிதரின் சூழ்ச்சிகளிலிருந்து விலக்கி, உமது சமுகத்தின் அடைக்கலத்தில் மறைத்துவைக்கிறீர்; அவர்களைக் குற்றப்படுத்தும் நாவுகளுக்கு விலக்கி, உமது தங்குமிடத்தில் அவர்களை ஒளித்துவைக்கிறீர்.

Thou keepest them concealed in the secret of thy presence from the conspiracies of man; thou hidest them in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

21 யெகோவாவுக்குத் துதி உண்டாவதாக, ஏனெனில் பட்டணம் முற்றுகையிடப்பட்டு நான் சிக்கலில் இருந்தபோது, அவர் தமது உடன்படிக்கை அன்பின் அதிசயத்தை எனக்குக் காண்பித்தார்.

Blessed be Jehovah; for he hath shewn me wondrously his loving-kindness in a strong city.

22 நான் அதிர்ச்சியடைந்து, “உமது பார்வையிலிருந்து அகற்றப்பட்டேன்” என்று சொன்னேன்; ஆனாலும் நான் உதவிவேண்டி உம்மை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டபோது, இரக்கத்திற்காக நான் கதறி அழுததை நீர் கேட்டீர்.

As for me, I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes; nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.

23 யெகோவாவினுடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களே, அவரில் அன்புகூருங்கள்! யெகோவா அவருக்கு உண்மையாய் இருப்பவர்களைப் பாதுகாக்கிறார்; ஆனால் பெருமையுள்ளவர்களுக்குப் பூரணமாய்ப் பதிலளிப்பார்.

Love Jehovah, all ye his saints. Jehovah preserveth the faithful, and plentifully requiteth the proud doer.

24 யெகோவாவை நம்பிக் காத்திருப்பவர்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் பெலன்கொண்டு தைரியமாய் இருங்கள்.

Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all ye that hope in Jehovah.
