சங்கீதம் 26
1 தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். யெகோவாவே, என்னை நியாயப்படுத்திக் காட்டும், ஏனெனில் நான் உத்தமமாய் நடக்கிறேன்; நான் யெகோவாவை நம்பியிருக்கிறேன், நான் தடுமாறுவதில்லை.
[A Psalm] of David. Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in Jehovah without wavering.
2 யெகோவாவே, என்னைச் சோதியும், என்னைப் பரிசோதித்துப் பாரும், என் இருதயத்தையும் என் மனதையும் ஆராய்ந்து பாரும்;
Examine me, O Jehovah, and prove me; Try my heart and my mind.
3 ஏனெனில் உமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பு எப்பொழுதும் என் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கிறது; நான் உமது சத்தியத்தின்படியே வாழ்கிறேன்.
For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes; And I have walked in thy truth.
4 ஏமாற்றுகிறவர்களோடு நான் உட்காருவதில்லை, வஞ்சகரிடத்தில் நான் சேருகிறதுமில்லை;
I have not sat with men of falsehood; Neither will I go in with dissemblers.
5 தீமை செய்கிறவர்களின் கூட்டத்தை நான் அருவருக்கிறேன், கொடியவர்களுடன் உட்காரவும் மறுக்கிறேன்.
I hate the assembly of evil-doers, And will not sit with the wicked.
6 யெகோவாவே, நான் குற்றமில்லாமை விளங்கும்படி என் கைகளைக் கழுவி, உமது துதியைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்தி,
I will wash my hands in innocency: So will I compass thine altar, O Jehovah;
7 உமது அதிசயமான செயல்களையெல்லாம் விவரித்துக்கொண்டு, உமது பீடத்தைச் சுற்றிவருகிறேன்.
That I may make the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, And tell of all thy wondrous works.
8 யெகோவாவே, உமது மகிமை குடியிருக்கும் இடமாகிய, நீர் வாழும் ஆலயத்தை நான் நேசிக்கிறேன்.
Jehovah, I love the habitation of thy house, And the place where thy glory dwelleth.
9 பாவிகளோடு என் ஆத்துமாவையும், இரத்தப் பிரியரோடு என் உயிரையும் எடுத்துக் கொள்ளாதேயும்.
Gather not my soul with sinners, Nor my life with men of blood;
10 அவர்களுடைய கைகளில் கொடுமையான சதித்திட்டங்களிருக்கின்றன; அவர்களின் வலதுகைகள் இலஞ்சங்களால் நிறைந்திருக்கின்றன.
In whose hands is wickedness, And their right hand is full of bribes.
11 ஆனால் நான் என் உத்தமத்திலே வாழ்வேன்; என்னை மீட்டெடுத்து என்மீது இரக்கமாயிரும்.
But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: Redeem me, and be merciful unto me.
12 என் பாதங்கள் நேர்மையான இடத்தில் நிற்கின்றன; நான் யெகோவாவை மகா சபையில் துதிப்பேன்.
My foot standeth in an even place: In the congregations will I bless Jehovah.
