சங்கீதம் 24

1 தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். பூமியும் அதிலிருக்கும் ஒவ்வொன்றும் யெகோவாவினுடையவை, உலகமும் அதில் வாழும் அனைவரும் அவருடையவர்கள்.

The song of Dauid. The erthe and the fulnesse therof is `the Lordis; the world, and alle that dwellen therynne `is the Lordis.

2 ஏனென்றால் அவர் பூமியைக் கடலின்மேல் நிறுவி, தண்ணீரின்மேல் நிலைநிறுத்தினார்.

For he foundide it on the sees; and made it redi on floodis.

3 யெகோவாவினுடைய மலையில் ஏறத்தகுந்தவன் யார்? அவருடைய பரிசுத்த இடத்தில் நிற்கத் தகுந்தவன் யார்?

Who schal stie in to the hil of the Lord; ethir who schal stonde in the hooli place of hym?

4 சுத்தமான கைகளுடையவனும் தூய்மையான இருதயமுடையவனும் தன் ஆத்துமாவை பொய்யானவைகளுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடாதவனும் பொய் சத்தியம் செய்யாதவனுமே.

The innocent in hondis, and in cleene herte; whiche took not his soule in veyn, nether swoor in gile to his neiybore.

5 அவர்கள் யெகோவாவிடமிருந்து ஆசீர்வாதம் பெறுவார்கள், தங்கள் இரட்சகரான இறைவனால் நியாயத்தைப் பெறுவார்கள்.

`This man schal take blessyng of the Lord; and mercy of God his helthe.

6 அவரைத் தேடுகிறவர்களின் சந்ததி இப்படிப்பட்டதே, யாக்கோபின் இறைவனே, உமது முகத்தைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் இவர்களே.

This is the generacioun of men sekynge hym; of men sekynge the face of God of Jacob.

7 வாசல்களே, உங்கள் தலைகளை உயர்த்துங்கள்; பூர்வீகக் கதவுகளே, நீங்கள் உயர்த்தப்படுங்கள்; மகிமையின் அரசன் உட்செல்ல வழிவிடுங்கள்.

Ye princes, take vp youre yatis, and ye euerelastynge yatis, be reisid; and the kyng of glorie schal entre.

8 இந்த மகிமையின் அரசன் யார்? அவர் பலமும் வலிமையும் உள்ள யெகோவா, அவர் போரில் வல்லமையுள்ள யெகோவா.

Who is this kyng of glorie? the Lord strong and myyti, the Lord myyti in batel.

9 வாசல்களே, உங்கள் தலைகளை உயர்த்துங்கள்; பூர்வீக கதவுகளே, நீங்கள் உயர்த்தப்படுங்கள்; மகிமையின் அரசன் உட்செல்ல வழிவிடுங்கள்.

Ye princes, take vp youre yatis, and ye euerlastynge yatis, be reisid; and the kyng of glorie schal entre.

10 மகிமையின் அரசனான இவர் யார்? அவர் சேனைகளின் யெகோவா; அவரே மகிமையின் அரசன்.

Who is this kyng of glorie? the Lord of vertues, he is the kyng of glorie.
