சங்கீதம் 19

1 பாடகர் குழுத் தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். வானங்கள் இறைவனுடைய மகிமையை அறிவிக்கின்றன, ஆகாயங்கள் அவருடைய கரங்களின் செயலைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்துகின்றன.

TO THE OVERSEER. A PSALM OF DAVID. The heavens [are] recounting the glory of God, And the expanse [is] declaring the work of His hands.

2 அவைகள் நாள்தோறும் பேசுகின்றன; இரவுதோறும் அறிவை வெளிப்படுத்துகின்றன.

Day to day utters speech, And night to night shows knowledge.

3 அவைகள் சொற்கள் இல்லாமல் பேசுகின்றன; அங்கே அவைகளின் சத்தம் கேட்கப்படுவதுமில்லை.

There is no speech, and there are no words. Their voice has not been heard.

4 ஆனாலும் அவைகளின் குரல் பூமியெங்கும் செல்கிறது; அவைகளின் வார்த்தைகள் உலகத்தின் கடைமுனை வரைக்கும் செல்கின்றன. யெகோவா வானங்களில் சூரியனுக்கு ஒரு கூடாரத்தை அமைத்திருக்கிறார்.

Their line has gone forth into all the earth, And their sayings to the end of the world, In them He placed a tent for the sun,

5 சூரியனோ, மணவறையிலிருந்து புறப்படும் ஒரு மணமகனைப் போலவும், பந்தயத்திற்காக ஓட மகிழ்ச்சியுடனிருக்கும் விளையாட்டு வீரனைப்போலவும் இருக்கிறது.

And he, as a bridegroom, goes out from his covering, He rejoices as a mighty one To run the path.

6 அது வானங்களின் ஒரு முனையில் உதித்து, மறுமுனைவரை சுற்றிவருகிறது. அதின் வெப்பத்திற்குத் ஒன்றும் தப்புவதில்லை.

From the end of the heavens [is] his going out, And his revolution [is] to their ends, And nothing is hid from his heat.

7 யெகோவாவினுடைய சட்டம் முழு நிறைவானது, அது ஆத்துமாவுக்குப் புத்துயிரளிக்கிறது. யெகோவாவினுடைய நியமங்கள் நம்பகமானவை, அவை பேதையை ஞானியாக்குகின்றன.

The law of YHWH [is] perfect, refreshing the soul, The testimonies of YHWH [are] steadfast, Making the simple wise,

8 யெகோவாவினுடைய ஒழுங்குவிதிகள் நியாயமானவை, அவை இருதயத்திற்கு மகிழ்வைக் கொடுக்கின்றன. யெகோவாவினுடைய கட்டளைகள் பிரகாசமானவை, அவை கண்களுக்கு வெளிச்சத்தைக் கொடுக்கின்றன.

The precepts of YHWH [are] upright, Rejoicing the heart, The command of YHWH [is] pure, enlightening the eyes,

9 யெகோவாவுக்குரிய பயபக்தி தூய்மையானது, அது என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது. யெகோவாவினுடைய விதிமுறைகள் நிலையானவை, அவை முற்றிலும் நீதியானவை.

The fear of YHWH [is] clean, standing for all time, The judgments of YHWH [are] true, They have been righteous—together.

10 அவை தங்கத்தைவிட, சுத்தத் தங்கத்தைவிட மிகுந்த விலையுயர்ந்தவை. அவை தேனைப் பார்க்கிலும், கூட்டிலிருந்து வடியும் தெளித்தேனைப் பார்க்கிலும் இனிமையானவை.

They are more desirable than gold, Indeed, than much fine gold; and sweeter than honey, Even liquid honey of the comb.

11 அவைகளால் உமது அடியேன் எச்சரிப்படைகிறேன்; அவைகளைக் கைக்கொள்வதால் மிகுந்த பலனுண்டு.

Also—Your servant is warned by them, “In keeping them [is] a great reward.”

12 தன் தவறுகளை அறிந்துணர யாரால் முடியும்? என் மறைவான குற்றங்களை எனக்கு மன்னியும்.

[His] errors—who understands? Declare me innocent from hidden ones,

13 விரும்பி செய்யும் பாவங்களிலிருந்து உமது அடியேனைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும்; அவைகள் என்னை ஆளுகை செய்யாதிருப்பதாக. அப்பொழுது நான் குற்றமற்றவனாயும், பெரும் மீறுதல்கள் அறியாதவனாயும் இருப்பேன்.

Also—keep back Your servant from presumptuous ones, Do not let them rule over me, Then I am perfect, And declared innocent of much transgression.

14 என் கன்மலையும் என் மீட்பருமாகிய யெகோவாவே, என் வாயின் வார்த்தைகளும் என் இருதயத்தின் தியானமும் உமது பார்வையில் பிரியமாய் இருப்பதாக.

Let the sayings of my mouth, And the meditation of my heart, Be for a pleasing thing before You, O YHWH, my rock, and my redeemer!
