சங்கீதம் 146

1 யெகோவாவைத் துதி. என் ஆத்துமாவே, யெகோவாவைத் துதி.

Praise Yahweh! With my whole inner being I will praise Yahweh.

2 நான் என் வாழ்நாளெல்லாம் யெகோவாவைத் துதிப்பேன்; நான் உயிரோடிருக்கும்வரை என் இறைவனுக்குத் துதி பாடுவேன்.

I will praise Yahweh as long as I am alive; I will sing to praise my God for [the rest of] my life.

3 உன் நம்பிக்கையை இளவரசர்களிலும், உன்னை மீட்கமுடியாத மனுமக்களிலும் வைக்காதே.

[You people], do not trust in your leaders; do not trust humans because they cannot save/rescue you [from your difficulties/problems].

4 அவர்களுடைய ஆவி பிரியும்போது அவர்கள் மண்ணுக்கே திரும்பிப் போவார்கள்; அந்த நாளிலேயே அவர்களுடைய திட்டங்கள் ஒன்றுமில்லாமல் போகும்.

And when they die, their corpses [decay and] become soil again. After they die, they can no longer do the things that they planned to do.

5 யாக்கோபின் இறைவனைத் தங்கள் உதவியாகக் கொண்டிருப்போர், தங்களுடைய இறைவனாகிய யெகோவாவிடம் நம்பிக்கையை வைத்திருப்போர் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்.

But those whose helper is the God whom Jacob [worshiped] are happy. The one whom they confidently expect [to help them] is Yahweh, their God.

6 அவரே வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் கடலையும் அவற்றிலுள்ள எல்லாவற்றையும் படைத்தவர்; யெகோவாவாகிய அவர் என்றைக்கும் உண்மையுள்ளவராய் இருக்கிறார்.

He is the one who created heaven and the earth and the oceans and all [the creatures] that are in them. He always does what he has promised to do.

7 அவர் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு நியாயஞ்செய்கிறார்; பசியுள்ளவர்களுக்கு உணவு கொடுக்கிறார். யெகோவா கைதிகளை விடுதலையாக்குகிறார்,

He decides matters fairly for those who are (treated unfairly/oppressed), and he provides food for those who are hungry. He frees those who are in prison.

8 யெகோவா குருடருக்குப் பார்வை கொடுக்கிறார், யெகோவா தாழ்த்தப்பட்டவர்களை உயர்த்துகிறார், யெகோவா நீதிமான்களில் அன்பாயிருக்கிறார்.

Yahweh enables those who are blind to see again. He lifts up those who have fallen down. He loves righteous [people].

9 யெகோவா அயல்நாட்டவர்களைப் பாதுகாக்கிறார், அநாதைகளையும் விதவைகளையும் ஆதரிக்கிறார், ஆனால் கொடியவர்களின் வழிகளை அவர் முறியடிக்கிறார்.

Yahweh takes care of those from other countries who live in our land, and he helps widows and orphans. But he gets rid of wicked [people].

10 யெகோவா என்றென்றும் ஆளுகை செய்கிறார்; சீயோனே, உன் இறைவன் எல்லாத் தலைமுறைகளுக்கும் அரசாளுகிறார். யெகோவாவைத் துதி.

Yahweh will [continue to] be our king forever; you people of Israel, your God will rule forever! Praise Yahweh!
