சங்கீதம் 143
1 தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். யெகோவாவே, என் மன்றாட்டைக் கேளும், இரக்கத்திற்கான என் கதறுதலுக்குச் செவிகொடும்; உமது உண்மையின்படியும் நீதியின்படியும் எனக்கு பதில் தாரும்.
A Psalm of David. Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.
2 உமது அடியானை நியாயந்தீர்க்காதேயும். வாழ்கின்ற ஒருவருமே உமக்கு முன்பாக நீதிமான்கள் இல்லையே.
And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.
3 பகைவன் என்னைப் பின்தொடர்கிறான், அவன் என்னை தரையில் போட்டு தாக்குகிறான்; வெகுகாலத்திற்கு முன்பு இறந்தவர்களைப்போல், அவன் என்னை இருளில் குடியிருக்கப்பண்ணுகிறான்.
For the enemy hath persecuted my soul; he hath smitten my life down to the ground; he hath made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.
4 ஆகவே எல்லா நம்பிக்கையையும் இழந்து என் ஆவி எனக்குள் சோர்ந்துபோகிறது; பயத்தால் என் இருதயம் கலங்குகிறது.
Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.
5 நான் முந்தின நாட்களை நினைக்கிறேன்; உமது செயல்களையெல்லாம் தியானிக்கிறேன்; உமது கரத்தின் செயல்களை யோசிக்கிறேன்.
I remember the days of old; I meditate on all thy works; I muse on the work of thy hands.
6 நான் உம்மை நோக்கி என் கைகளை விரிக்கிறேன்; வறண்ட நிலத்தைப்போல் என் ஆத்துமா உம்மேல் தாகம் கொண்டிருக்கிறது.
I stretch forth my hands to thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. (Selah)
7 யெகோவாவே, சீக்கிரமாய் எனக்குப் பதில் தாரும்; என் உள்ளம் சோர்ந்துபோகிறது; உமது முகத்தை என்னிடமிருந்து மறையாதேயும்; இல்லாவிட்டால், நான் மரணக் குழியில் இறங்குகிறவர்களைப் போலாகிவிடுவேன்.
Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like them that go down into the pit.
8 காலை வேளையானது உமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பின் செய்தியைக் கொண்டுவரட்டும், ஏனெனில் நான் என் நம்பிக்கையை உம்மிலேயே வைத்திருக்கிறேன்; நான் போகவேண்டிய வழியை எனக்குக் காண்பியும், ஏனெனில் என் உயிரை உம்மிடத்தில் ஒப்படைக்கிறேன்.
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way in which I should walk; for I lift up my soul to thee.
9 யெகோவாவே, என் பகைவரிடமிருந்து என்னைத் தப்புவியும்; ஏனெனில் நான் உமக்குள் என்னை மறைத்துக்கொள்கிறேன்.
Deliver me, O LORD, from my enemies: I flee to thee to hide me.
10 நீரே என் இறைவன்; ஆதலால் உமது சித்தத்தைச் செய்ய எனக்குப் போதியும்; உமது நல்ல ஆவியானவர் என்னை நல்வழியில் நடத்துவாராக.
Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
11 யெகோவாவே, உமது பெயரின் மகிமைக்காக என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும்; உமது நியாயத்தினிமித்தம் வேதனையிலிருந்து என்னை விடுவியும்.
Revive me, O LORD, for thy name’s sake: for thy righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.
12 உமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பினிமித்தம் என் பகைவரை அழித்துவிடும்; என் எதிரிகள் அனைவரையும் ஒழித்துவிடும்; ஏனெனில் நான் உமது அடியவன்.
And of thy mercy cut off my enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I am thy servant.
