சங்கீதம் 14

1 பாடகர் குழுத் தலைவனுக்கு ஒப்புவிக்கப்பட்ட தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். “இறைவன் இல்லை” என்று மூடன் தன் இருதயத்தில் சொல்கிறான். அவர்கள் சீர்கெட்டவர்கள், அவர்களுடைய செயல்கள் இழிவானவை; நன்மை செய்கிறவன் ஒருவனும் இல்லை.

To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David. The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, [there is] none that doeth good.

2 யெகோவா பரலோகத்திலிருந்து மனுமக்களை நோக்கிப் பார்க்கிறார், அவர்களில் விவேகமுள்ளவனாவது இறைவனைத் தேடுகிறவனாவது உண்டோ என்று பார்க்கிறார்.

The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, [and] seek God.

3 எல்லோரும் வழிவிலகி, சீர்கெட்டுப் போனார்கள்; நன்மை செய்கிறவன் ஒருவனுமில்லை, ஒருவனாகிலும் இல்லை.

They are all gone aside, they are [all] together become filthy: [there is] none that doeth good, no, not one.

4 தீயோர்களுக்கு எதுவும் தெரியாதோ? மனிதர் அப்பம் சாப்பிடுவதுபோல், அவர்கள் என் மக்களை விழுங்குகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் யெகோவாவை வழிபடுவதுமில்லை.

Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people [as] they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.

5 அவர்கள் அங்கே பயத்தில் நடுங்குகிறார்கள்; ஏனெனில் இறைவன் நீதிமான்களின் கூட்டத்தில் இருக்கிறார்.

There were they in great fear: for God [is] in the generation of the righteous.

6 தீமை செய்கிறவர்களே, நீங்கள் ஏழைகளின் திட்டங்களைக் குழப்புகிறீர்கள்; ஆனால் யெகோவாவோ ஏழைகளின் தஞ்சம்.

Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD [is] his refuge.

7 சீயோனிலிருந்து இஸ்ரயேலுக்கு இரட்சிப்பு வெளிவருவதாக! யெகோவா தமது மக்களின் சிறையிருப்பைத் திருப்பும்போது யாக்கோபு மகிழட்டும், இஸ்ரயேல் களிகூரட்டும்!

Oh that the salvation of Israel [were come] out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, [and] Israel shall be glad.
