சங்கீதம் 135
1 யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள். யெகோவாவினுடைய பெயரைத் துதியுங்கள்; யெகோவாவின் பணியாட்களே, நீங்கள் அவரைத் துதியுங்கள்,
Alleluia. Praise you the name of the Lord; praise the Lord, [you his] servants,
2 நமது இறைவனுடைய ஆலய முற்றங்களிலும், யெகோவாவினுடைய ஆலயத்திலும் ஊழியம் செய்கிறவர்களே, நீங்கள் அவரைத் துதியுங்கள்.
who stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.
3 யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள், யெகோவா நல்லவர்; அவருடைய பெயருக்குத் துதி பாடுங்கள், அது இனிமையானது.
Praise you the Lord; for the Lord is good: sing praises to his name; for [it is] good.
4 ஏனெனில் யெகோவா யாக்கோபைத் தமக்குச் சொந்தமாயிருக்கும்படி தெரிந்துகொண்டார்; இஸ்ரயேலரைத் தமது அருமைச் சொத்தாய் இருக்கும்படி தெரிந்துகொண்டார்.
For the Lord has chosen Jacob for himself, [and] Israel for his peculiar treasure.
5 யெகோவா பெரியவர் என்றும், நமது யெகோவா எல்லாத் தெய்வங்களைப் பார்க்கிலும், மேலானவர் என்பதையும் நான் அறிவேன்.
For I know that the Lord is great, and our Lord is above all gods;
6 வானத்திலும் பூமியிலும், கடல்களிலும், அவைகளின் எல்லா ஆழங்களிலும் யெகோவா தமக்கு விருப்பமான எதையும் செய்கிறார்.
all that the Lord willed, he did in heaven, and on the earth, in the sea, and in all deeps.
7 அவர் பூமியின் கடைசியிலிருந்து மேகங்களை எழும்பச் செய்கிறார்; மழையுடன் மின்னலையும் அவர் அனுப்புகிறார், காற்றை தமது சேமிப்புக்கிடங்கிலிருந்து வெளியே புறப்படச்செய்கிறார்.
Who brings up clouds from the extremity of the earth: he has made lightnings for the rain: he brings winds out of his treasures.
8 அவர் எகிப்தின் முதற்பேறுகளை அழித்தார், மனிதரின் முதற்பேறுகளையும் மிருகங்களின் தலையீற்றுகளையும் அழித்தார்.
Who struck the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.
9 எகிப்தே, பார்வோனுக்கும் அவனுடைய எல்லா பணியாட்களுக்கும் விரோதமாக அவர் தம்முடைய அடையாளங்களையும் அதிசயங்களையும் உன் மத்தியில் அனுப்பினாரே.
He sent signs and wonders into the midst of you, O Egypt, on Pharao, and on all his servants.
10 அவர் அநேக நாடுகளைத் தாக்கினார், வலிமைமிக்க அரசர்களைக் கொன்றார்;
Who struck many nations, and killed mighty kings;
11 எமோரியரின் அரசன் சீகோனையும், பாசானின் அரசன் ஓகையும், கானானின் அரசர்கள் எல்லோரையும் அழித்தார்,
Seon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Basan, and all the kingdoms of Chanaan:
12 அவர் அவர்களுடைய நாட்டை உரிமைச்சொத்தாக, தமது மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரயேலருக்கு உரிமைச்சொத்தாகக் கொடுத்தார்.
and gave their land [for] an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people.
13 யெகோவாவே, உமது பெயர் என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைக்கிறது; யெகோவாவே, உமது புகழ் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக நிலைக்கும்.
O Lord, your name [endures] for ever, and your memorial to all generations.
14 யெகோவா தம் மக்களின் நியாயத்தை விசாரித்து, தம் அடியார்கள்மேல் இரக்கங்காட்டுவார்.
For the Lord shall judge his people, and comfort himself concerning his servants.
15 பிறநாடுகளின் விக்கிரகங்கள் வெள்ளியும் தங்கமும், மனிதருடைய கைகளினால் செய்யப்பட்டதுமாய் இருக்கிறது.
The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the works of men's hands.
16 அவைகளுக்கு வாயிருந்தும் பேசாது; அவைகளுக்குக் கண்களிருந்தும் காணாது.
They have a mouth, but they can’t speak; they have eyes, but they can’t see;
17 அவைகளுக்குக் காதுகளிருந்தும் கேளாது, அவைகளுடைய வாயிலே சுவாசமுமில்லை.
they have ears, but they can’t hear; for there is no breath in their mouth.
18 அவைகளைச் செய்கிறவர்களும், அவைகளை நம்புகிற எல்லோரும் அவைகளைப்போலவே இருக்கிறார்கள்.
Let those who make them be made like to them; and all those who trust in them.
19 இஸ்ரயேல் குடும்பத்தாரே, யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள்; ஆரோன் குடும்பத்தாரே, யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள்;
O house of Israel, bless you the Lord: O house of Aaron, bless you the Lord:
20 லேவி குடும்பத்தாரே, யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவருக்குப் பயந்து நடக்கிறவர்களே, யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள்.
O house of Levi, bless you the Lord: you that fear the Lord, bless the Lord.
21 எருசலேமில் குடிகொண்டிருக்கும் யெகோவாவுக்கு, சீயோனிலிருந்து துதி உண்டாகட்டும். யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள்.
Blessed in Sion be the Lord, who dwells in Jerusalem.
