சங்கீதம் 125

1 சீயோன் மலை ஏறும்போது பாடும் பாடல். யெகோவாவை நம்புகிறவர்கள் சீயோன் மலையைப்போல் என்றென்றும் அசையாமல் நிலைத்திருப்பார்கள்.

A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

2 மலைகள் எருசலேமைச் சுற்றிலும் இருப்பதைப்போல், யெகோவா இப்பொழுதும் எப்பொழுதும் தமது மக்களைச் சுற்றியிருக்கிறார்.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surroundeth his people from henceforth even for ever.

3 நீதிமான்களுக்கென ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட நாட்டின்மேல், கொடியவர்களின் ஆட்சி நீடிக்காது; இல்லையெனில், நீதியற்றவர்களும் தீமைசெய்யத் தங்கள் கைகளை நீட்டலாம்.

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands to iniquity.

4 யெகோவாவே, நல்லவர்களுக்கு, இருதயத்தில் நேர்மையாய் இருப்போருக்கு நன்மை செய்யும்.

Do good, O LORD, to those that are good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

5 குறுக்கு வழிகளுக்குத் திரும்புகிறவர்களையோ, யெகோவா தீயவரோடேகூட தண்டிப்பார். இஸ்ரயேலின்மீது சமாதானம் உண்டாவதாக.

As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Israel.
