சங்கீதம் 118
1 யெகோவாவுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துங்கள், அவர் நல்லவர்; அவருடைய அன்பு என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது.
O give thanks to the LORD; for [he is] good: because his mercy [endureth] for ever.
2 “அவருடைய அன்பு என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது” என்று இஸ்ரயேலர் சொல்வார்களாக.
Let Israel now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.
3 “அவருடைய அன்பு என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது” என்று ஆரோன் குடும்பத்தவரான ஆசாரியர்கள் சொல்வார்களாக.
Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.
4 “அவருடைய அன்பு என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது” என்று யெகோவாவுக்குப் பயந்து நடக்கிறவர்கள் சொல்வார்களாக.
Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.
5 நான் நெருக்கத்திலிருந்து யெகோவாவைக் கூப்பிட்டேன் எனக்குப் பதிலளித்து, விசாலமான இடத்தில் என்னை நடத்தினார்.
I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, [and set me] in a large place.
6 யெகோவா என்னோடு இருக்கிறார், நான் பயப்படமாட்டேன்; மனிதன் எனக்கு என்ன செய்யமுடியும்?
The LORD [is] on my side; I will not fear: what can man do to me?
7 யெகோவா என்னோடு இருக்கிறார், அவரே என் உதவியாளர்; என்னைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களுக்கு நேரிடுவதை நான் காண்பேன்.
The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see [my desire] upon them that hate me.
8 மனிதனில் நம்பிக்கை வைப்பதைப் பார்க்கிலும், யெகோவாவிடத்தில் தஞ்சம் அடைவதே மேலானது.
[It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
9 அதிகாரிகள் மீது நம்பிக்கை வைப்பதைப் பார்க்கிலும், யெகோவாவிடத்தில் தஞ்சம் அடைவதே சிறந்தது.
[It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.
10 எல்லா மக்களும் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டார்கள்; ஆனாலும் யெகோவாவின் பெயரில் நான் அவர்களை மேற்கொண்டேன்.
All nations encompassed me: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.
11 அவர்கள் எல்லாப் பக்கங்களிலும் என்னை வளைத்துக்கொண்டார்கள்; ஆனாலும் யெகோவாவின் பெயரிலேயே நான் அவர்களை மேற்கொண்டேன்.
They encompassed me; yes, they encompassed me: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
12 அவர்கள் தேனீக்களைப்போல என்னைச் சூழ்ந்துகொண்டார்கள்; ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் எரியும் முட்செடிகளைப்போல் விரைவாக மறைந்துபோனார்கள்; யெகோவாவின் பெயரால் நான் அவர்களை மேற்கொண்டேன்.
They encompassed me like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.
13 நான் பின்னோக்கித் தள்ளப்பட்டு, விழப்போனேன்; ஆனால் யெகோவாவோ எனக்கு உதவி செய்தார்.
Thou hast violently thrust at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.
14 யெகோவா என் பெலமும், என் பாடலுமாய் இருக்கிறார்; அவரே எனக்கு இரட்சிப்புமானார்.
The LORD [is] my strength and song, and is become my salvation.
15 நீதிமான்களின் கூடாரங்களில், வெற்றியின் மகிழ்ச்சிக் குரல் திரும்பத்திரும்ப ஒலிக்கின்றன: “யெகோவாவின் வலதுகரம் வல்லமையான செயல்களைச் செய்திருக்கிறது.
The voice of rejoicing and salvation [is] in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
16 யெகோவாவின் வலதுகரம் உயர்ந்திருக்கிறது; யெகோவாவின் வலதுகரம் வல்லமையான காரியங்களைச் செய்திருக்கிறது.”
The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.
17 நான் வாழுவேன், சாகமாட்டேன். நான் வாழ்ந்து யெகோவா செய்தவற்றை அறிவிப்பேன்.
I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.
18 யெகோவா என்னைக் கடுமையாகத் தண்டித்தார், ஆனாலும் அவர் என்னை மரணத்திற்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கவில்லை.
The LORD hath chastened me severely: but he hath not given me over to death.
19 நீதியின் வாசல்களை எனக்காகத் திறவுங்கள்; நான் உள்ளே சென்று யெகோவாவுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துவேன்.
Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will enter them, [and] I will praise the LORD:
20 இதுவே யெகோவாவின் வாசல்; நீதிமான்கள் அதின் உள்ளே செல்வார்கள்.
This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.
21 நீர் எனக்குப் பதிலளித்தபடியால், நான் உமக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துகிறேன்; என் இரட்சிப்பு நீரே.
I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
22 வீடு கட்டுகிறவர்கள் புறக்கணித்த கல்லே மூலைக்குத் தலைக்கல்லாயிற்று.
The stone [which] the builders refused is become the head [stone] of the corner.
23 யெகோவாவே இதைச் செய்தார், இது நமது கண்களுக்கு ஆச்சரியமாக இருக்கிறது.
This is the LORD'S doing; it [is] wonderful in our eyes.
24 யெகோவா உண்டாக்கின நாள் இதுவே; இதிலே நாம் மகிழ்ந்து களிகூருவோம்.
This [is] the day [which] the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 யெகோவாவே, எங்களை இரட்சியும்; யெகோவாவே, எங்களுக்கு வெற்றியைத் தாரும்.
Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
26 யெகோவாவின் பெயரில் வருகிறவர் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்; யெகோவாவினுடைய ஆலயத்திலிருந்து உங்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறோம்.
Blessed [be] he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.
27 யெகோவாவே இறைவன், அவர் தமது ஒளியை நம்மேல் பிரகாசிக்கச் செய்திருக்கிறார்; பண்டிகை பலியைக் கையில் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, பலிபீடத்தின் கொம்புகளில் கயிற்றைக் கட்டி ஊர்வலத்தில் கலந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.
God [is] the LORD, who hath shown us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, [even] to the horns of the altar.
28 நீரே என் இறைவன், நான் உமக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துவேன்; நீரே என் இறைவன், நான் உம்மைப் புகழ்ந்து உயர்த்துவேன்.
Thou [art] my God, and I will praise thee: [thou art] my God, I will exalt thee.
29 யெகோவாவுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துங்கள், அவர் நல்லவர்; அவருடைய அன்பு என்றென்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது.
O give thanks to the LORD; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
