சங்கீதம் 101

1 தாவீதின் சங்கீதம். யெகோவாவே, நான் உமது அன்பையும் நீதியையும் குறித்துப் பாடுவேன்; உமக்கே நான் துதி பாடுவேன்.

A Psalme of David. I will sing mercie and iudgement: vnto thee, O Lord, will I sing.

2 நான் குற்றமற்ற வாழ்க்கையை வாழ கவனமாயிருப்பேன்; நீர் எப்பொழுது என்னிடத்தில் வருவீர்? நான் குற்றமற்ற இருதயத்துடன் என் வீட்டின் விவகாரங்களை நடத்துவேன்.

I will doe wisely in the perfite way, till thou commest to me: I will walke in the vprightnes of mine heart in the middes of mine house.

3 தீங்கான செயல்களை நான் என் கண்முன் வைக்கமாட்டேன். உண்மையற்ற மனிதரின் செயல்களை நான் வெறுக்கிறேன்; அவைகள் என்னைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ளாது.

I wil set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the worke of them that fall away: it shall not cleaue vnto me.

4 வஞ்சக இருதயமுடைய மனிதரை என்னைவிட்டுத் தூரமாய் விலக்கிவைப்பேன்; நான் தீமையோடு எவ்வித தொடர்பும் வைக்கமாட்டேன்.

A froward heart shall depart from me: I will knowe none euill.

5 தன் அயலாரை இரகசியமாய் அவதூறு செய்கிற மனிதரை நான் தண்டிப்பேன்; கர்வமான கண்களையும் பெருமையான இருதயத்தையும் கொண்ட மனிதரை நான் சகிக்கமாட்டேன்.

Him that priuily slandereth his neighbour, wil I destroy: him that hath a proude looke and hie heart, I cannot suffer.

6 நாட்டில் உண்மையுள்ளவர்களாய் இருப்போர்மீது என் கண்கள் இருக்கும், அவர்கள் என்னோடு வாழ்வார்கள்; குற்றமற்றவனாய் நடப்பவர்களே எனக்கு ஊழியம் செய்வார்கள்.

Mine eyes shalbe vnto the faithfull of the lande, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfite way, he shall serue me.

7 வஞ்சனை செய்யும் யாரும் என் வீட்டில் வாழமாட்டார்கள்; பொய்ப் பேசுபவர் யாரும் என் சமுகத்தில் நிற்கவுமாட்டார்கள்.

There shall no deceitful person dwell within mine house: he that telleth lyes, shall not remaine in my sight.

8 நான் நாட்டிலுள்ள கொடியவர்கள் எல்லோரையும் காலைதோறும் தண்டிப்பேன்; தீங்குசெய்யும் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் யெகோவாவினுடைய நகரத்திலிருந்து அகற்றிவிடுவேன்.

Betimes will I destroy all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off all the workers of iniquitie from the Citie of the Lord.
