எண்ணாகமம் 1

1 இஸ்ரயேலர் எகிப்திலிருந்து வந்த இரண்டாம் வருடம் இரண்டாம் மாதம் முதலாம் நாள், சீனாய் பாலைவனத்தில், சபைக் கூடாரத்தில் யெகோவா மோசேயுடன் பேசினார். அவர் சொன்னதாவது:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tent of meeting, on the first of the second month, in the second year of their going out of the land of Egypt, saying:

2 “நீ இஸ்ரயேலின் முழு சமுதாயத்தையும், வம்சங்களின்படியும், குடும்பங்களின்படியும் கணக்கிடவேண்டும். ஒவ்வொருவரையும் பெயர் பெயராகப் பதிவு செய்யவேண்டும்.

'Take ye up the sum of all the company of the sons of Israel by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names — every male by their polls;

3 நீயும், ஆரோனும் படையில் பணிபுரியக்கூடிய இருபது வயதையும், அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதையும் உடைய எல்லா இஸ்ரயேல் மனிதர்களையும், அவர்களுடைய பிரிவுகளின்படி கணக்கிடுங்கள்.

from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host in Israel, ye do number them by their hosts, thou and Aaron;

4 இதற்காக ஒவ்வொரு கோத்திரத்திலிருந்தும், குடும்பத்தின் தலைவன் உனக்கு உதவிசெய்ய வேண்டும்.

and with you there is a man for a tribe, each is a head to the house of his fathers.

5 “உனக்கு உதவியாய் இருக்கவேண்டியவர்களின் பெயர்களாவன: “ரூபன் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்து சேதேயூரின் மகன் எலிசூர்;

'And these [are] the names of the men who stand with you: 'For Reuben — Elizur son of Shedeur.

6 சிமியோன் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்து சூரிஷதாயின் மகன் செலூமியேல்,

'For Simeon — Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.

7 யூதா கோத்திரத்திலிருந்து அம்மினதாபின் மகன் நகசோன்,

'For Judah — Nahshon son of Amminadab.

8 இசக்கார் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்து சூவாரின் மகன் நெதனெயேல்,

'For Issachar — Nathaneel son of Zuar.

9 செபுலோன் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்து ஏலோனின் மகன் எலியாப்,

'For Zebulun — Eliab son of Helon.

10 யோசேப்பின் மகன்களான எப்பிராயீமின் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்து அம்மியூதின் மகன் எலிஷாமா, மனாசே கோத்திரத்திலிருந்து பெதாசூரின் மகன் கமாலியேல்,

'For the sons of Joseph — for Ephraim: Elishama son of Ammihud: for Manasseh — Gamaliel son of Pedahzur.

11 பென்யமீன் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்து கீதியோனியின் மகன் அபீதான்,

'For Benjamin — Abidan son of Gideoni.

12 தாண் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்து அம்மிஷதாயின் மகன் அகியேசேர்,

'For Dan — Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.

13 ஆசேர் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்து ஓகிரானின் மகன் பாகியேல்,

'For Asher — Pagiel son of Ocran.

14 காத் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்து தேகுயேலின் மகன் எலியாசாப்,

'For Gad — Eliasaph son of Deuel.

15 நப்தலி கோத்திரத்திலிருந்து ஏனானின் மகன் அகீரா.”

'For Naphtali — Ahira son of Enan.'

16 தங்களுடைய முற்பிதாக்களின் கோத்திரங்களின் தலைவர்களாக, இஸ்ரயேல் சமுதாயத்திலிருந்து நியமிக்கப்பட்ட மனிதர்கள் இவர்களே. இஸ்ரயேல் வம்சங்களின் தலைவர்களும் இவர்களே.

These [are] those called of the company, princes of the tribes of their fathers; they [are] heads of the thousands of Israel.

17 மோசேயும், ஆரோனும் பெயர் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட இம்மனிதரைச் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டார்கள்.

And Moses taketh — Aaron also — these men, who were defined by name,

18 இரண்டாம் மாதம் முதலாம் நாளில், இஸ்ரயேலின் முழு சமுதாயத்தையும் ஒன்றுகூட்டினார்கள். மக்கள் தங்கள் பரம்பரையைத் தங்கள் வம்சங்களின்படியும், குடும்பங்களின்படியும் குறிப்பிட்டார்கள். இருபது வயதையும், அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதையும் உடைய மனிதர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும், பெயர் பெயராகப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள்.

and all the company they assembled on the first of the second month, and they declare their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names from a son of twenty years and upward, by their polls,

19 யெகோவா மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே அவர்கள் செய்தார்கள். இப்படியாக சீனாய் பாலைவனத்தில் அவன் அவர்களைக் கணக்கிட்டான்.

as Jehovah hath commanded Moses; and he numbereth them in the wilderness of Sinai.

And the sons of Reuben, Israel's first-born — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, by their polls, every male from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

21 ரூபன் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்த எண்ணிக்கை 46,500 பேர்.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Reuben, are six and forty thousand and five hundred.

22 சிமியோனின் சந்ததிகளிலிருந்து, இராணுவத்தில் பணிபுரியக்கூடிய, இருபது வயதையும் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதையும் உடைய எல்லோரும் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும், தங்களுடைய வம்ச பதிவின்படியும், குடும்ப பதிவின்படியும், பெயர் பெயராகப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள்.

23 சிமியோன் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்த எண்ணிக்கை 59,300 பேர்.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Simeon, [are] nine and fifty thousand and three hundred.

24 காத்தின் சந்ததிகளிலிருந்து, இராணுவத்தில் பணிபுரியக்கூடிய இருபது வயதையும், அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதையும் உடைய எல்லோரும் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும், தங்களுடைய வம்ச பதிவின்படியும், குடும்ப பதிவின்படியும், பெயர் பெயராகப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள்.

25 காத் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்த எண்ணிக்கை 45,650 பேர்.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Gad, [are] five and forty thousand and six hundred and fifty.

26 யூதாவின் சந்ததிகளிலிருந்து, இராணுவத்தில் பணிபுரியக்கூடிய இருபது வயதையும், அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதையும் உடைய எல்லோரும் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும், தங்களுடைய வம்ச பதிவின்படியும், குடும்ப பதிவின்படியும், பெயர் பெயராகப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள்.

27 யூதாவின் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்த எண்ணிக்கை 74,600 பேர்.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Judah, [are] four and seventy thousand and six hundred.

28 இசக்கார் சந்ததிகளிலிருந்து, இராணுவத்தில் பணிபுரியக்கூடிய இருபது வயதையும், அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதையும் உடைய எல்லோரும் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும், தங்களுடைய வம்ச பதிவின்படியும், குடும்ப பதிவின்படியும், பெயர் பெயராகப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள்.

Of the sons of Issachar — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

29 இசக்காரின் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்த எண்ணிக்கை 54,400 பேர்.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Issachar, [are] four and fifty thousand and four hundred.

30 செபுலோனின் சந்ததிகளிலிருந்து, இராணுவத்தில் பணிபுரியக்கூடிய இருபது வயதையும், அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதையும் உடைய எல்லோரும் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும், தங்களுடைய வம்ச பதிவின்படியும், குடும்ப பதிவின்படியும் பெயர் பெயராகப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள்.

Of the sons of Zebulun — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

31 செபுலோனின் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்த எண்ணிக்கை 57,400 பேர்.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Zebulun, [are] seven and fifty thousand and four hundred.

32 யோசேப்பின் மகனான எப்பிராயீமின் சந்ததிகளிலிருந்து, இராணுவத்தில் பணிபுரியக்கூடிய இருபது வயதையும், அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதையும் உடைய எல்லோரும் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும், தங்களுடைய வம்ச பதிவின்படியும், குடும்ப பதிவின்படியும் பெயர் பெயராகப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள்.

33 எப்பிராயீமின் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்த எண்ணிக்கை 40,500 பேர்.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Ephraim, [are] forty thousand and five hundred.

34 யோசேப்பின் மகனான மனாசேயின் சந்ததிகளிலிருந்து, இராணுவத்தில் பணிபுரியக்கூடிய இருபது வயதையும், அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதையும் உடைய எல்லோரும் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும், தங்களுடைய வம்ச பதிவின்படியும், குடும்ப பதிவின்படியும் பெயர் பெயராகப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள்.

Of the sons of Manasseh — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

35 மனாசேயின் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்த எண்ணிக்கை 32,200 பேர்.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Manasseh, [are] two and thirty thousand and two hundred.

36 பென்யமீனின் சந்ததிகளிலிருந்து, இராணுவத்தில் பணிபுரியக்கூடிய இருபது வயதையும், அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதையும் உடைய எல்லோரும் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும் தங்களுடைய வம்ச பதிவின்படியும், குடும்ப பதிவின்படியும் பெயர் பெயராகப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள்.

Of the sons of Benjamin — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

37 பென்யமீனின் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்த எண்ணிக்கை 35,400 பேர்.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Benjamin, [are] five and thirty thousand and four hundred.

38 தாணின் சந்ததிகளிலிருந்து, இராணுவத்தில் பணிபுரியக்கூடிய இருபது வயதையும், அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதையும் உடைய எல்லோரும் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும், தங்களுடைய வம்ச பதிவின்படியும், குடும்ப பதிவின்படியும், பெயர் பெயராகப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள்.

Of the sons of Dan — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

39 தாணின் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்த எண்ணிக்கை 62,700 பேர்.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Dan, [are] two and sixty thousand and seven hundred.

40 ஆசேரின் சந்ததிகளிலிருந்து, இராணுவத்தில் பணிபுரியக்கூடிய இருபது வயதையும், அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதையும், உடைய எல்லோரும் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும், தங்களுடைய வம்ச பதிவின்படியும், குடும்ப பதிவின்படியும் பெயர் பெயராகப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள்.

Of the sons of Asher — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

41 ஆசேரின் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்த எண்ணிக்கை 41,500 பேர்.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Asher, [are] one and forty thousand and five hundred.

42 நப்தலியின் சந்ததிகளிலிருந்து, இராணுவத்தில் பணிபுரியக்கூடிய இருபது வயதையும், அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதையும் உடைய எல்லோரும் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும், தங்களுடைய வம்ச பதிவின்படியும், குடும்ப பதிவின்படியும் பெயர் பெயராகப் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டார்கள்.

[Of] the sons of Naphtali — their births, by their families, by the house of their fathers, in the number of names, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host —

43 நப்தலியின் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்த எண்ணிக்கை 53,400 பேர்.

their numbered ones, for the tribe of Naphtali, [are] three and fifty thousand and four hundred.

44 மோசேயினாலும், ஆரோனாலும், தன்தன் குடும்பத்தைப் பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்திய இஸ்ரயேலரின் பன்னிரண்டு தலைவர்களினாலும் எண்ணப்பட்ட மனிதர்கள் இவர்களே.

These [are] those numbered, whom Moses numbered — Aaron also, and the princes of Israel, twelve men — each for the house of his fathers, they have been.

45 இஸ்ரயேலின் இராணுவத்தில் பணிசெய்யக்கூடிய இருபது வயதையும், அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதையும் உடைய இஸ்ரயேலர் எல்லோரும் அவர்களுடைய குடும்பங்களின்படியே எண்ணப்பட்டார்கள்.

And they are, all those numbered of the sons of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from a son of twenty years and upward, every one going out to the host in Israel,

46 மொத்த எண்ணிக்கை 6,03,550 பேர்.

yea, all those numbered are six hundred thousand, and three thousand, and five hundred and fifty.

47 ஆனால், மற்றவர்களோடு லேவி கோத்திரத்தின் குடும்பங்கள் கணக்கிடப்படவில்லை.

And the Levites, for the tribe of their fathers, have not numbered themselves in their midst,

48 யெகோவா மோசேயிடம் சொல்லியிருந்ததாவது:

seeing Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

49 “நீ லேவி கோத்திரத்தைக் கணக்கிடவோ, அவர்களை மற்ற இஸ்ரயேலருடன் மக்கள் தொகை கணக்கெடுக்கவோ வேண்டாம்.

'Only, the tribe of Levi thou dost not number, and their sum thou dost not take up in the midst of the sons of Israel;

50 ஆனால் நீ லேவியரை சாட்சிபகரும் இறைசமுகக் கூடாரத்திற்கும், அதன் எல்லா பணிப்பொருட்களுக்கும், அதற்குரிய எல்லாவற்றிற்கும்மேல் பொறுப்பாக நியமிக்கவேண்டும். இறைசமுகக் கூடாரத்தையும், அதன் பணிமுட்டுகளையும் அவர்களே சுமக்கவேண்டும். அவர்களே அதைப் பராமரித்து, அதைச் சுற்றிலும் முகாமிடவேண்டும்.

and thou, appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony, and over all its vessels, and over all that it hath; they bear the tabernacle, and all its vessels, and they serve it; and round about the tabernacle they encamp.

51 எப்பொழுதாவது இறைசமுகக் கூடாரத்தை நகர்த்தவேண்டுமானால், லேவியரே அதைக் கழற்றவேண்டும். இறைசமுகக் கூடாரத்தை அமைக்கவேண்டுமென்றாலும் அதை லேவியரே செய்யவேண்டும். அதற்கு அருகில் செல்லும் வேறு எவனும் கொல்லப்படவேண்டும்.

'And in the journeying of the tabernacle, the Levites take it down, and in the encamping of the tabernacle, the Levites raise it up; and the stranger who is coming near is put to death.'

52 இஸ்ரயேலர் தங்கள் பிரிவுகளின்படியே கூடாரங்களை அமைக்கவேண்டும். ஒவ்வொருவனும் தன் சொந்தக் கூடாரத்தில் தன் சொந்தக் கொடியின்கீழ் இருக்கவேண்டும்.

And the sons of Israel have encamped, each by his camp, and each by his standard, by their hosts;

53 ஆனாலும், இஸ்ரயேல் சமுதாயத்தின்மேல் கோபம் வராதபடிக்கு லேவியர்கள் உடன்படிக்கைக் கூடாரத்தைச் சுற்றி தங்கள் முகாமிடவேண்டும். உடன்படிக்கைக் கூடாரத்தின் பராமரிப்புக்கு லேவியரே பொறுப்பாயிருக்க வேண்டும்.”

and the Levites encamp round about the tabernacle of the testimony; and there is no wrath on the company of the sons of Israel, and the Levites have kept the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.

54 யெகோவா மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே இஸ்ரயேலர் இவற்றையெல்லாம் செய்தார்கள்.

And the sons of Israel do according to all that Jehovah hath commanded Moses; so they have done.
