எண்ணாகமம் 10

1 யெகோவா மோசேயிடம் சொன்னதாவது:

And YHWH speaks to Moses, saying,

2 “வெள்ளியை அடித்து இரண்டு எக்காளங்களைச் செய்யவேண்டும். மக்களை ஒன்றுகூட்டி அழைப்பதற்கும், முகாமில் உள்ளவர்களை புறப்படச்செய்வதற்கும் அவற்றைச் செய்யப்படவேண்டும்.

“Make two trumpets of silver for yourself; you make them of beaten work, and they have been for you for the convocation of the congregation, and for the journeying of the camps;

3 அந்த இரண்டு எக்காளங்களும் ஊதப்படுகின்றபோது, எல்லா மக்களும் சபைக்கூடார வாசலில் உனக்கு முன்பாகக் கூடிவரவேண்டும்.

and they have blown with them, and all the congregation has assembled to you at the opening of the Tent of Meeting.

4 ஆனால் ஒரு எக்காளம் மட்டும் ஊதப்படும்போது தலைவர்கள், இஸ்ரயேல் வம்சத்தலைவர்கள் மாத்திரமே உனக்கு முன்பாகக் கூடிவரவேண்டும்.

And if they blow with one, then the princes, heads of the thousands of Israel, have assembled to you;

5 எக்காளத்தின் சத்தம் பெரிதாய் தொனிக்கும்போது, கிழக்குப் பக்கத்தில் முகாமிட்டிருக்கும் கோத்திரங்கள் புறப்படவேண்டும்.

and you have blown—a shout, and the camps which are encamping eastward have journeyed.

6 இரண்டாந்தரமும் எக்காள சத்தம் பெரிதாய் தொனிக்கும்போது, தெற்கே முகாமிட்டிருக்கிறவர்கள் புறப்படவேண்டும். எக்காளத்தின் பெருந்தொனி புறப்படுவதற்கு அடையாளமாயிருக்க வேண்டும்.

And you have blown—a second shout, and the camps which are encamping southward have journeyed; they blow a shout for their journeys.

7 மக்களை ஒன்று கூட்டுவதற்காக எக்காளம் ஊதவேண்டும். ஊதப்படும் தொனி வித்தியாசமாயிருக்க வேண்டும்.

And in the assembling of the assembly you blow, and do not shout;

8 “ஆசாரியர்களான ஆரோனின் மகன்களே எக்காளங்களை ஊதவேண்டும். இது உனக்கும், உன் சந்ததிக்கும் தலைமுறைதோறும் ஒரு நித்திய நியமமாய் இருக்கும்.

and sons of Aaron, the priests, blow with the trumpets; and they have been for a continuous statute to you throughout your generations.

9 உங்களை ஒடுக்குகிற உங்கள் பகைவர்களுக்கு எதிராக உங்கள் சொந்த நாட்டிலே நீங்கள் போருக்குச் செல்லும்போது, நீ எக்காளங்களினால் பெருந்தொனியை எழுப்பவேண்டும். அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் உங்கள் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவாவினால் நினைவுகூரப்பட்டு, உங்கள் பகைவர்களிடமிருந்து தப்புவிக்கப்படுவீர்கள்.

And when you go into battle in your land against the adversary who is distressing you, then you have shouted with the trumpets, and you have been remembered before your God YHWH, and you have been saved from your enemies.

10 அத்துடன் உங்களுக்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்ட பண்டிகைகளையும், அமாவாசைப் பண்டிகைகளையும் கொண்டாடி மகிழும் காலங்களில், உங்கள் தகன காணிக்கைகளுக்கும், சமாதான காணிக்கைகளுக்கும் மேலாக எக்காளங்களை ஊதவேண்டும். அவை உங்கள் இறைவனுக்கு முன்பாக உங்களை ஞாபகப்படுத்தும் அடையாளமாயிருக்கும். நான் உங்கள் இறைவனாகிய யெகோவா” என்றார்.

And in the day of your gladness, and in your appointed times, and in the beginnings of your months, you have also blown with the trumpets over your burnt-offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace-offerings, and they have been for a memorial to you before your God; I [am] your God YHWH.”

11 இஸ்ரயேலர் எகிப்திலிருந்து வெளியேறிய பிறகு இரண்டாம் வருடம், இரண்டாம் மாதம், இருபதாம் நாளில் சாட்சியின் கூடாரத்தின் மேலாக இருந்த மேகம் மேலெழுந்தது.

And it comes to pass, in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth of the month, the cloud has gone up from off the Dwelling Place of the Testimony,

12 அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரயேலர் சீனாய் பாலைவனத்தை விட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, ஒரு இடத்திலிருந்து இன்னோர் இடத்திற்குப் பயணம்பண்ணி, அந்த மேகம் பாரான் பாலைவனத்தில் தங்கும்வரை போய்க்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.

and the sons of Israel journey in their journeys from the wilderness of Sinai, and the cloud dwells in the wilderness of Paran;

13 யெகோவா மோசேயின் மூலம் கொடுத்த கட்டளையின்படியே, இவ்விதம் முதல்முறையாக அவர்கள் புறப்பட்டார்கள்.

and they journey at first by the command of YHWH in the hand of Moses.

14 முதலாவதாக, யூதாவின் முகாம் பிரிவுகள் தங்கள் கொடியின்கீழ் சென்றன. அம்மினதாபின் மகன் நகசோன் அவர்களுக்குத் தலைமை தாங்கினான்.

And the standard of the camp of the sons of Judah journeys in the first [place], by their hosts, and over its host [is] Nahshon son of Amminadab.

15 சூவாரின் மகன் நெதனெயேல் இசக்கார் கோத்திரப் பிரிவுக்குத் தலைமை தாங்கினான்.

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar [is] Nathaneel son of Zuar.

16 ஏலோனின் மகன் எலியாப், செபுலோன் கோத்திரப் பிரிவுக்குத் தலைமை தாங்கினான்.

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun [is] Eliab son of Helon.

17 அப்பொழுது இறைசமுக கூடாரமும் கழற்றப்பட்டது. கெர்சோனியரும், மெராரியரும் அதைச் சுமந்துகொண்டு புறப்பட்டார்கள்.

And the Dwelling Place has been taken down, and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari have journeyed, carrying the Dwelling Place.

18 அடுத்ததாக, ரூபனின் முகாம் பிரிவுகள் தங்கள் கொடியின்கீழ் புறப்பட்டன. சேதேயூரின் மகன் எலிசூர் அவர்களுக்குத் தலைமை வகித்தான்.

And the standard of the camp of Reuben has journeyed, by their hosts, and over its host [is] Elizur son of Shedeur.

19 சூரிஷதாயின் மகன் செலூமியேல் சிமியோன் கோத்திரப் பிரிவுக்குத் தலைமை தாங்கினான்.

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Simeon [is] Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.

20 தேகுயேலின் மகன் எலியாசாப், காத் கோத்திரப் பிரிவுக்குத் தலைமை தாங்கினான்.

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Gad [is] Eliasaph son of Deuel.

21 அதன்பின் கோகாத்தியர் பரிசுத்த பொருட்களைச் சுமந்துகொண்டு புறப்பட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் போய்ச்சேருமுன் இறைசமுகக் கூடாரம் அமைக்கப்பட வேண்டியிருந்தது.

And the Kohathites have journeyed, carrying the Dwelling Place, and the [others] have raised up the Dwelling Place until their coming in.

22 அடுத்ததாக, எப்பிராயீமின் முகாம் பிரிவுகள் தங்கள் கொடியின்கீழ் புறப்பட்டன. அவர்களுக்கு அம்மியூதின் மகன் எலிஷாமா தலைமை தாங்கினான்.

And the standard of the camp of the sons of Ephraim has journeyed, by their hosts, and over its host [is] Elishama son of Ammihud.

23 பெதாசூரின் மகன் கமாலியேல், மனாசே கோத்திரப் பிரிவுக்குத் தலைமை தாங்கினான்.

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh [is] Gamalial son of Pedahzur.

24 கீதெயோனின் மகன் அபீதான், பென்யமீன் கோத்திரப் பிரிவுக்குத் தலைமை தாங்கினான்.

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin [is] Abidan son of Gideoni.

25 கடைசியாக, தாணின் முகாம் பிரிவுகள் எல்லாப் பிரிவுகளுக்கும் பின்னணிக் காவலாக, தங்கள் கொடியின்கீழ் புறப்பட்டன. அம்மிஷதாயின் மகன் அகியேசேர் அவர்களுக்குத் தலைமை தாங்கினான்.

And the standard of the camp of the sons of Dan has journeyed (rearward to all the camps), by their hosts, and over its host [is] Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.

26 ஓகிரானின் மகன் பாகியேல், ஆசேர் கோத்திரப் பிரிவுக்குத் தலைமை தாங்கினான்.

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Asher [is] Pagiel son of Ocran.

27 ஏனானின் மகன் அகீரா, நப்தலி கோத்திரப் பிரிவுக்குத் தலைமை தாங்கினான்.

And over the host of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali [is] Ahira son of Enan.

28 இஸ்ரயேலரின் பிரிவுகள் புறப்பட்டபோது, இவ்விதமாய் அவர்களின் அணிவகுப்பு ஒழுங்காய் அமைந்தது.

These [are] the journeys of the sons of Israel by their hosts when they journey.

29 அதன்பின் மோசே மீதியானியனான தன் மாமன் ரெகுயேலின் மகன் ஒபாவிடம், “இப்பொழுது நாங்கள் யெகோவா எங்களுக்குத் தருவேன் என வாக்குக்கொடுத்த இடத்திற்குப் போகிறோம். நீயும் எங்களுடன் வா. நாங்கள் உன்னை நன்றாக நடத்துவோம். ஏனெனில், யெகோவா இஸ்ரயேலருக்கு நன்மைகளைத் தருவதாக வாக்குத்தத்தம் செய்திருக்கிறார்” என்றான்.

And Moses says to Hobab son of Raguel the Midianite, father-in-law of Moses, “We are journeying to the place of which YHWH has said, I give it to you; go with us, and we have done good to you, for YHWH has spoken good concerning Israel.”

30 ஆனால் ஒபாவோ, “நான் உங்களுடன் வரமாட்டேன்; நான் என் சொந்த நாட்டிற்கும், என் சொந்த மக்களிடத்திற்கும் போகப்போகிறேன்” என்றான்.

And he says to him, “I do not go; but I go to my land and to my family.”

31 அதற்கு மோசே, “தயவுசெய்து நீ எங்களைவிட்டுப் போகவேண்டாம். நாங்கள் பாலைவனத்தில் எங்கே முகாமிடவேண்டும் என்பது உனக்குத் தெரியும். நீ எங்கள் வழிகாட்டியாயிரு.

And he says, “Please do not forsake us, because you have known our encamping in the wilderness, and you have been to us for eyes;

32 நீ எங்களுடன் வந்தால், யெகோவா எங்களுக்குத் தரப்போகிற எல்லா நன்மைகளையும் நாங்கள் உன்னோடு பகிர்ந்துகொள்வோம்” என்றான்.

and it has come to pass, when you go with us—indeed, it has come to pass—that good which YHWH does kindly with us, we have done it kindly to you.”

33 அப்படியே அவர்கள் யெகோவாவினுடைய மலையை விட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு மூன்று நாட்கள் பயணம் செய்தார்கள். தங்கும் இடம் ஒன்றைக் கண்டுகொள்வதற்காக அந்த மூன்றுநாட்களும் யெகோவாவின் உடன்படிக்கைப்பெட்டி அவர்களுக்கு முன்னால் சென்றது.

And they journey from the mountain of YHWH a journey of three days; and the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH is journeying before them [for] the journey of three days, to spy out a resting place for them;

34 அவர்கள் முகாமைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டபோது, பகலில் யெகோவாவின் மேகம் அவர்களுக்கு மேலாக இருந்தது.

and the cloud of YHWH [is] on them by day, in their journeying from the camp.

35 உடன்படிக்கைப்பெட்டி புறப்பட்டபோதெல்லாம் மோசே சொன்னது: “யெகோவாவே, எழுந்தருளும்! உமது பகைவர் சிதறடிக்கப்படுவார்களாக; உமது எதிரிகள் உமக்கு முன்பாகப் பயந்து ஓடுவார்களாக.”

And it comes to pass in the journeying of the Ark, that Moses says, “Rise, O YHWH, and Your enemies are scattered, and those hating You flee from Your presence.”

36 உடன்படிக்கைப்பெட்டி தங்கும்போதெல்லாம் மோசே சொன்னது: “யெகோவாவே, எண்ணிலடங்கா பல்லாயிரக்கணக்கான இஸ்ரயேலரிடம் திரும்பி வாரும்.”

And in its resting he says, “Return, O YHWH, [to] the myriads, the thousands of Israel.”
