கீழேயுள்ள பாதாளம் நீ வரும்போது, உன்னைச் சந்திக்க பரபரப்படைகிறது. அது உன்னை வரவேற்க மரித்தோரின் ஆவிகளை எழுப்புகிறது; அவர்கள் உலகத்தின் தலைவர்களாய் இருந்தவர்கள். அது அவர்களைத் தங்கள் அரியணைகளிலிருந்து எழும்பச் செய்கிறது; அவர்கள் மக்களுடைய அரசர்களாயிருந்தார்கள். (Sheol h7585)
The under-world is in commotion on account of thee, To meet thee at thy coming; It stirreth up before thee the shades, all the mighty of the earth; It arouseth from their thrones all the kings of the nations; (Sheol h7585)

Thou goest to the king with oil, And takest much precious perfume; Thou sendest thine ambassadors afar, Yea, down to the under-world. (Sheol h7585)
“‘ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா கூறுவது இதுவே. அது பாதாளத்துக்குக் கொண்டுவரப்பட்ட நாளிலே, நான் அதன் ஆழமான நீரூற்றுக்களை துக்கத்துடன் மூடினேன். அதன் நீரூற்றுக்களை நான் தடுத்தேன். அதன் நிறைவான நீர்நிலைகள் வற்றிப்போயின. அதினிமித்தம் நான் லெபனோனை இருளால் மூடினேன். வெளியின் மரங்களெல்லாம் பட்டுப்போயின. (Sheol h7585)
Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In the day when he went down to the grave, I caused the deep to mourn, I covered it for him; I restrained on account of him the streams, and the great waters were kept back; And I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, And all the trees of the field fainted for him. குழியில் இறங்குகிறவர்களோடு அதை நான் பாதாளத்திற்குக் கொண்டுவந்தபோது, அதனுடைய விழுகிற சத்தத்தைக் கேட்டு பல நாடுகளையும் நடுங்கும்படி செய்தேன். ஏதேனின் எல்லா மரங்களும், லெபனோனின் தரமானதும் சிறப்பானதுமான மரங்களும், நன்கு தண்ணீர் பாய்ச்சப்பட்டிருக்கின்ற எல்லா மரங்களும் பூமியின் கீழே ஆறுதலடைந்தன. The mightiest heroes from the midst of the pit shall speak to him and his helpers; For they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword. (Sheol h7585)
விருத்தசேதனமற்ற விழுந்துபோன மற்ற இராணுவவீரர்களுடன், அவர்கள் கிடக்கவில்லையோ? இந்த இராணுவவீரர்கள் போராயுதங்களுடன் பாதாளத்தில் இறங்கியவர்களும், தங்கள் தலைகளின்கீழ் வாள்கள் வைக்கப்பட்டவர்களுமாய் இருந்தார்கள். அவர்களுடைய அச்சம் நாட்டை ஊடுருவிச் சென்றபோதிலும், அவர்களுடைய பாவத்தின் தண்டனை அவர்கள் எலும்பின் மேலேயே தங்கிற்று.
