மீகா 1
1 யூதாவின் அரசர்களான யோதாம், ஆகாஸ், எசேக்கியா ஆகியோர்களின் ஆட்சிக்காலத்தில், மோரேசேத் ஊரைச்சேர்ந்த மீகா என்பவனுக்கு வந்த யெகோவாவின் வார்த்தை இதுவே. சமாரியாவையும், எருசலேமையும் குறித்து அவன் கண்ட தரிசனம்:
The word of Jehovah that came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, [and] Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
2 மக்கள் கூட்டங்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் கேளுங்கள், பூமியே, அதில் உள்ளவர்களே, செவிகொடுங்கள், ஆண்டவராகிய யெகோவா உங்களுக்கு எதிராய் சாட்சி கூறப்போகிறார், யெகோவா பரலோகத்திலுள்ள தமது பரிசுத்த ஆலயத்திலிருந்து பேசப்போகிறார்.
Hear, ye peoples, all of you; hearken, O earth, and all that is therein: and let the Lord Jehovah be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple!
3 நோக்கிப்பாருங்கள்; யெகோவா தமது உறைவிடத்திலிருந்து வருகிறார். அவர் இறங்கி பூமியின் உயர்ந்த இடங்களில் உலாவுகிறார்.
For behold, Jehovah cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
4 நெருப்பின் முன் மெழுகு போலவும், மலைச்சரிவில் பாய்ந்தோடும் தண்ணீர் போலவும் மலைகள் அவருக்குக் கீழ் உருகுகின்றன. பள்ளத்தாக்குகள் பிளக்கின்றன.
And the mountains shall be melted under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, as waters poured down a steep place.
5 யாக்கோபின் மீறுதல்களினாலும், இஸ்ரயேல் வீட்டாரின் பாவங்களினாலுமே இவை எல்லாம் நடக்கின்றன. யாக்கோபின் மீறுதல் என்ன? சமாரியா அல்லவா? யூதாவின் வழிபாட்டு மேடை எது? எருசலேம் அல்லவா?
For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. Whence is the transgression of Jacob? is it not [from] Samaria? And whence are the high places of Judah? are they not [from] Jerusalem?
6 “எனவே யெகோவா சொல்கிறதாவது: நான் சமாரியாவை ஒரு இடிபாட்டுக் குவியலாக்குவேன். திராட்சைத் தோட்ட நிலமாக அதை மாற்றுவேன். அவற்றின் கற்களை பள்ளத்தாக்கில் கொட்டி, அஸ்திபாரங்களை வெறுமையாக்குவேன்.
Therefore will I make Samaria as a heap of the field, as plantings of a vineyard; and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will lay bare the foundations thereof.
7 சமாரியாவின் விக்கிரகங்கள் யாவும் துண்டுகளாய் நொறுக்கப்படும்; அவள் ஆலயத்திற்குக் கொடுத்த அன்பளிப்புகள் எல்லாம் நெருப்பில் சுட்டெரிக்கப்படும்; அவளுடைய உருவச்சிலைகள் அனைத்தையும் அழிப்பேன். அவள் தன் அன்பளிப்புகளை கோயில் வேசிகளின் கூலியிலிருந்து பெற்றபடியால், பகைவர்கள் அவற்றைத் திரும்பவும் வேசிகளின் கூலியாகவே பயன்படுத்துவார்கள்.”
And all her graven images shall be beaten to pieces, and all her harlot-gifts shall be burned with fire, and all her idols will I make a desolation; for of the hire of a harlot hath she gathered [them], and to a harlot's hire shall they return.
8 சமாரியாவின் அழிவின் நிமித்தம் நான் அழுது புலம்புவேன்; வெறுங்காலோடும் நிர்வாணத்துடனும் நடந்து திரிவேன். நரியைப்போல் ஊளையிட்டு, ஆந்தையைப்போல் அலறுவேன்.
For this will I lament, and I will howl; I will go stripped and naked: I will make a wailing like the jackals, and mourning like the ostriches.
9 ஏனெனில் சமாரியாவின் புண் குணமாக்க முடியாதது; அது யூதாவரை வந்துள்ளது. என் மக்கள் வாழும் எருசலேம் வரையுங்கூட அது வந்துள்ளது.
For her wounds are incurable; for it is come even unto Judah, it reacheth unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
10 அதை காத் பட்டணத்தில் சொல்லவேண்டாம்; கொஞ்சமும் அழவே வேண்டாம். பெத் அப்பிராவிலே புழுதியில் புரளுங்கள்.
Tell it not in Gath, weep not at all; at Beth-le-aphrah roll thyself in the dust.
11 சாப்பீரில் வாழ்கிறவர்களே, நிர்வாணத்துடனும் வெட்கத்துடனும் கடந்துபோங்கள். சாயனானில் வாழ்கிறவர்கள் வெளியே வரமாட்டார்கள். பெத் ஏசேல் துக்கங்கொண்டாடுகிறது. அதற்குரிய பாதுகாப்பு உன்னிடமிருந்து எடுபட்டுப் போயிற்று.
Pass away, inhabitress of Shaphir, in nakedness [and] shame. The inhabitress of Zaanan is not come forth for the lamentation of Beth-ezel: he will take from you its shelter.
12 மாரோத்தில் வாழ்கிறவர்கள் வேதனையில் துடித்து, விடுதலைக்காகக் காத்திருக்கின்றனர். ஏனெனில், யெகோவாவிடமிருந்து பேராபத்து வந்திருக்கிறது. அது எருசலேமின் வாசலுக்கும் வந்திருக்கிறது.
For the inhabitress of Maroth waited anxiously for good; but evil hath come down from Jehovah unto the gate of Jerusalem.
13 லாகீசில் வாழ்கிறவர்களே, குதிரைகளை தேரில் பூட்டுங்கள்! நீங்களே சீயோன் மகளுடைய பாவத்தின் ஆரம்பம். ஏனெனில் இஸ்ரயேலின் மீறுதல்கள் உங்களிடத்திலேயும் காணப்பட்டன.
Bind the chariot to the swift steed, O inhabitress of Lachish: she was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; for in thee were found the transgressions of Israel.
14 ஆதலால் யூதாவின் மக்களே, நீங்கள் மோர்ஷேத் காத்துக்கு பிரியாவிடை சொல்லி அனுப்பிவிடுவீர்கள். அக்சீப் பட்டணம் இஸ்ரயேலின் அரசர்களுக்கு ஏமாற்றமாகும்.
Therefore shalt thou give parting-gifts to Moresheth-Gath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.
15 மரேஷாவில் வாழ்கிறவர்களே, உங்களுக்கெதிராக வெற்றி வீரனொருவனை யெகோவா கொண்டுவருவார். இஸ்ரயேலின் மேன்மையான தலைவர்கள் அதுல்லாம் குகையில் ஒளிந்துகொள்வார்கள்.
I will yet bring unto thee an heir, O inhabitress of Mareshah; the glory of Israel shall come even unto Adullam.
16 நீங்கள் மகிழ்ச்சிகொள்கிற பிள்ளைகளுக்காகத் துக்கங்கொண்டாடி, உங்கள் தலையை மொட்டையடியுங்கள்; அவர்கள் உங்களைவிட்டு நாடு கடத்தப்படப் போவதால், கழுகின் தலையைப்போல் உங்கள் தலைகளை மொட்டையடித்துக் கொள்ளுங்கள்.
Make thee bald, and poll thee for the children of thy delights; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle, for they are gone into captivity from thee.
