மத்தேயு 28
1 ஓய்வுநாளின் மறுநாளான வாரத்தின் முதலாவது நாள் அதிகாலையில், மகதலேனா மரியாளும் மற்ற மரியாளும் கல்லறையைப் பார்க்கும்படி சென்றார்கள்.
In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn towards the first [day] of the week, came Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary to see the sepulcher.
2 அப்பொழுது திடீரென ஒரு பெரிய பூமியதிர்ச்சி ஏற்பட்டது. கர்த்தரின் தூதன் ஒருவன் பரலோகத்திலிருந்து இறங்கி கல்லறைக்குப் போய், அதன் வாசற்கல்லைப் புரட்டித் தள்ளி, அதன்மேல் உட்கார்ந்திருந்தான்: இதனால் பயங்கரமான பூமி அதிர்ச்சி ஏற்பட்டது.
And behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
3 அவனுடைய தோற்றம் மின்னலைப் போல இருந்தது. அவனுடைய உடைகள் உறைபனியைப்போல் வெண்மையாய் இருந்தன.
His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow.
4 காவல் செய்த அந்தக் காவலாளர்கள் மிகவும் பயமடைந்து நடுங்கிச் செத்தவர்கள் போலானார்கள்.
And for fear of him the keepers trembled and became as dead [men].
5 அப்பொழுது இறைத்தூதன் அந்தப் பெண்களிடம், “பயப்படவேண்டாம். நீங்கள் சிலுவையில் அறையப்பட்ட இயேசுவைத் தேடுகிறீர்கள் என்று எனக்குத் தெரியும்.
And the angel answered and said to the women, Fear ye not: for I know that ye seek Jesus, who was crucified.
6 அவர் இங்கே இல்லை; தாம் சொன்னதுபோலவே, அவர் உயிருடன் எழுந்துவிட்டார். அவர் கிடத்தப்பட்டிருந்த இடத்தை வந்து பாருங்கள்” என்றான்.
He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7 “நீங்கள் விரைவாகப் போய், அவருடைய சீடர்களிடம் சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது: ‘அவர் மரணத்திலிருந்து எழுந்துவிட்டார், உங்களுக்கு முன்பாக அவர் கலிலேயாவுக்குப் போகிறார். அங்கே நீங்கள் அவரைக் காண்பீர்கள்.’ இதோ நான் உங்களுக்கு அறிவித்தேன்” என்றும் சொன்னான்.
And go quickly, and tell his disciples, that he is risen from the dead, and behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
8 எனவே, அந்தப் பெண்கள் பயமடைந்தவர்களாகவும், மகிழ்ச்சி நிறைந்தவர்களாகவும் கல்லறையைவிட்டு விரைந்து, நடந்ததை சீடர்களிடம் சொல்லும்படி ஓடினார்கள்.
And they departed quickly from the sepulcher, with fear and great joy; and ran to bring word to his disciples.
9 ஆனால் திடீரென இயேசு அவர்களைச் சந்தித்து வாழ்த்தினார். அவர்களும் அவரிடமாய் வந்து, அவருடைய பாதங்களைப் பற்றிப்பிடித்து, அவரை வழிபட்டார்கள்.
And as they were going to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came, and held him by the feet, and worshiped him.
10 இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “பயப்படவேண்டாம். நீங்கள் போய், என் சகோதரரிடம் கலிலேயாவுக்குப் போகும்படி சொல்லுங்கள்; அங்கே அவர்கள் என்னைக் காண்பார்கள்” என்றார்.
Then said Jesus to them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren, that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
11 அந்தப் பெண்கள் வழியில் போய்க்கொண்டிருக்கையில், அந்தக் காவலாளர்களில் சிலர் பட்டணத்திற்குள் போய், தலைமை ஆசாரியர்களிடம் நடந்த எல்லாவற்றையும் அறிவித்தார்கள்.
Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and showed to the chief priests all the things that had been done.
12 தலைமை ஆசாரியர் யூதரின் தலைவர்களைச் சந்தித்து, திட்டம் ஒன்றைத் தீட்டினார்கள். அவர்கள் அந்தப் படை வீரர்களுக்கு ஒரு பெருந்தொகையான பணத்தைக் கொடுத்து,
And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,
13 “நீங்கள் போய், ‘இரவிலே நாங்கள் உறங்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கையில், அவருடைய சீடர்கள் வந்து அவரது உடலைத் திருடிச் சென்றுவிட்டார்கள்’ என்று சொல்லுங்கள்.
Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him [away] while we slept.
14 இந்தச் செய்தி ஆளுநனுக்கு எட்டினால், நாங்கள் அவனைச் சமாளித்து, உங்களுக்குப் பிரச்சனை ஏற்படாதபடி பார்த்துக் கொள்வோம்” என்றார்கள்.
And if this shall come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.
15 எனவே படைவீரர்களும் அந்தப் பணத்தைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டு, தங்களுக்குக் கூறப்பட்டதையே சொன்னார்கள். இந்தக் கதை இந்நாள்வரை யூதர்கள் மத்தியில் பரவலாய் அறியப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
So they took the money, and did as they were instructed: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
16 அப்பொழுது பதினொரு சீடர்களும் கலிலேயாவுக்குச் சென்றார்கள். அவர்கள் தாங்கள் போக வேண்டுமென்று இயேசுவினால் குறிப்பிட்டுச் சொல்லப்பட்டிருந்த மலைக்குச் சென்றார்கள்.
Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
17 அவர்கள் இயேசுவைக் கண்டபோது, அவரை வழிபட்டார்கள்; சிலரோ சந்தேகப்பட்டார்கள்.
And when they saw him, they worshiped him: but some doubted.
18 பின்பு இயேசு அவர்களிடம் வந்து, “வானத்திலும், பூமியிலும் எல்லா அதிகாரமும் எனக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்றது.
And Jesus came, and spoke to them, saying, All power is given to me in heaven and upon earth.
19 எனவே நீங்கள் புறப்பட்டுப்போய் எல்லா நாட்டின் மக்களையும் எனக்குச் சீடராக்குங்கள். பிதா, மகன், பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவருடைய பெயரில் அவர்களுக்கு திருமுழுக்கு கொடுத்து,
Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
20 நான் உங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்ட எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் கீழ்ப்படியும்படி அவர்களுக்குப் போதித்து, அவர்களைச் சீடராக்குங்கள். இந்த உலகம் முடியும்வரை, நான் எப்பொழுதும் நிச்சயமாகவே உங்களுடனேகூட இருக்கிறேன்!” என்றார். (aiōn g165)
Teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, [even] to the end of the world. Amen. (aiōn g165)
