மத்தேயு 24
1 இயேசு ஆலயத்தைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டுப் போய்க்கொண்டிருந்தார். அப்பொழுது அவருடைய சீடர்கள் ஆலயக் கட்டிடங்களை அவருக்குக் காண்பிக்க அவரிடம் வந்தார்கள்.
AND Jeshu went forth from the temple to depart: and his disciples approached him, showing him the building of the temple.
2 ஆனால் இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “இவற்றையெல்லாம் பார்க்கிறீர்கள் அல்லவா? நான் உங்களுக்கு உண்மையைச் சொல்கிறேன், இங்குள்ள ஒரு கல்லின்மேல் இன்னொரு கல் இராதபடி, ஒவ்வொரு கல்லும் இடிக்கப்படும்” என்றார்.
But he said to them, See you not all these? Amen I say to you, There shall not be left here a stone upon a stone which shall not be destroyed.
3 இயேசு ஒலிவமலையின்மேல் இருக்கையில், சீடர்கள் தனிமையாக அவரிடத்தில் வந்து, “எப்பொழுது இவை நிகழும்? உமது வருகைக்கும், இந்த உலகத்தின் முடிவுக்குமான அடையாளம் என்ன? எங்களுக்குச் சொல்லும்” என்று கேட்டார்கள். (aiōn g165)
And while Jeshu sat upon the mount of Olives, his disciples drew near and said between themselves and him, Tell us when these things shall be; and what is the sign of thy coming and of the consummation of the world. (aiōn g165)
4 இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “உங்களை யாரும் ஏமாற்றாதபடி விழிப்பாயிருங்கள்.
Jeshu answered and said to them, Beware that no man cause you to err;
5 ஏனெனில் ‘நானே கிறிஸ்து,’ என்று சொல்லிக்கொண்டு, அநேகர் எனது பெயரில் வருவார்கள். அவர்கள் பலரை ஏமாற்றுவார்கள்.
for many will come in my name and will say, I am the Meshicha; and many will be deceived.
6 நீங்கள் யுத்தங்களையும், யுத்தங்களைப்பற்றிய செய்திகளையும் கேள்விப்படுவீர்கள். ஆனால் பயப்படாதபடி கவனமாயிருங்கள். இப்படிப்பட்ட காரியங்கள் நடக்கவே வேண்டும். ஆனால் முடிவு வருவதற்கோ, இன்னும் காலம் உண்டு.
But it will be for you to hear wars and the noise of battles; (yet) see that you be not perturbed; for all these will take place, but not yet is the end.
7 நாட்டிற்கு விரோதமாய் நாடு எழும்பும், அரசிற்கு விரோதமாய் அரசு எழும்பும். பல இடங்களில் பஞ்சங்களும், பூமியதிர்ச்சிகளும் ஏற்படும்.
For people will rise against people, and kingdom against kingdom; and there shall be famines, and plagues, and earthquakes in various places.
8 இவை எல்லாம் பிரசவ வேதனையின் ஆரம்பமே.
But these are all the beginning of sorrows.
9 “அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் துன்புறுத்தப்பட்டு, கொல்லப்படுவதற்கென ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்படுவீர்கள். என் நிமித்தம் நீங்கள் எல்லா ஜனங்களாலும் வெறுக்கப்படுவீர்கள்.
Then shall they deliver you to affliction, and shall kill you; and you shall be hated of all peoples on account of my name.
10 அக்காலத்தில் அநேகர் விசுவாசத்திலிருந்து விலகிப் போவார்கள். ஒருவரையொருவர் அவர்கள் காட்டிக்கொடுக்கிறவர்களாகவும், வெறுக்கிறவர்களாகவும் இருப்பார்கள்.
Then shall many be offended, and shall hate one another, and betray one another.
11 அநேக பொய் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் தோன்றி, அநேக மக்களை ஏமாற்றுவார்கள்.
And many lying prophets shall stand up, and shall delude the multitudes.
12 அநியாயம் பெருகுவதால் அநேகருடைய அன்பு தணிந்துபோகும்.
And because of the abounding of iniquity, the love of many will languish.
13 ஆனால் முடிவுவரை உறுதியாய் இருப்பவனே இரட்சிக்கப்படுவான்.
But he who shall persevere unto the end, -he shall live.
14 இறை அரசின் இந்த நற்செய்தி முழு உலகமும் அறியும்படி எல்லா ஜனங்களுக்கும் சாட்சியாகப் பிரசங்கிக்கப்படும். அதற்குப் பின்பே முடிவுவரும்.
And this annunciation of the kingdom shall be proclaimed in the whole world as a testimony for all nations; and then will come the end.
15 “எனவே இறைவாக்கினன் தானியேல் மூலம் சொல்லப்பட்ட, ‘பாழாக்குகிற அருவருப்பு’ ஆலயப் பரிசுத்த இடத்தில் நிற்கிறதை நீங்கள் காணும்பொழுது, வாசிக்கிற நீங்கள் அதை விளங்கிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
But when you see the unclean sign of desolation which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, that it standeth in the holy place; -he who readeth let him understand!-
16 அப்பொழுது யூதேயாவில் இருக்கிறவர்கள் மலைகளுக்குத் தப்பி ஓடட்டும்.
then let those who are in Jehud escape to the mountain.
17 வீட்டின் கூரைமேல் இருக்கிற எவனும், வீட்டிலிருந்து எதையாவது எடுக்கும்படி உள்ளே போகாதிருக்கட்டும்.
And let not him who is on the roof descend to take what his house;
18 வயலில் இருக்கும் யாரும், தனது மேலுடையை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளும்படி திரும்பிப் போகாதிருக்கட்டும்.
nor he who is in the field turn back to take his vestment.
19 அந்நாட்களில் கர்ப்பவதிகளின் நிலைமையும், பால் கொடுக்கும் தாய்மாரின் நிலைமையும் எவ்வளவு பயங்கரமாயிருக்கும்!
But woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck in those days!
20 நீங்கள் ஓடிப்போவது குளிர்க்காலத்தில் அல்லது ஓய்வுநாளில் நேரிடாதபடி ஜெபம் பண்ணுங்கள்.
But pray that your flight may not be in the winter, nor on the shabath.
21 ஏனெனில், உலகத் தொடக்கத்திலிருந்து இன்றுவரை ஏற்பட்டிருக்காத பெரும் துன்பம் அக்காலத்தில் ஏற்படும். அதற்குப் பின்பு ஒருபோதும் ஏற்படவும் மாட்டாது.
For then shall be the great affliction, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, neither shall be (again).
22 “அந்த நாட்கள் குறைக்கப்படாவிட்டால், ஒருவரும் தப்பமாட்டார்கள். ஆனால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களின் நிமித்தம், அந்த நாட்கள் குறைக்கப்படும்.
And unless those days be cut short, none could live of all flesh: but on account of the chosen those days shall be cut short.
23 அக்காலத்தில் யாராவது உங்களிடம் வந்து, ‘இதோ, கிறிஸ்து இங்கே இருக்கிறார்!’ அல்லது, ‘அதோ, அங்கே இருக்கிறார்!’ என்று சொன்னால், அதை நம்பவேண்டாம்.
Then if any one shall say to you, Lo, here is the Meshicha, or there; believe them not.
24 ஏனெனில் பொய் கிறிஸ்துக்களும் பொய் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளும் தோன்றுவார்கள். முடியுமானால், இறைவனால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களையும் ஏமாற்றும்படி அவர்கள் பெரிதான அடையாளங்களையும் அற்புதங்களையும் செய்வார்கள்.
For there shall arise false Meshichas and prophets of untruth; and they shall give forth magnificent signs, so as to seduce, if possible, the chosen also.
25 பாருங்கள், அக்காலம் வருமுன்பே, நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லி எச்சரிக்கிறேன்.
(observe! I have told you before, )
26 “ஆகவே யாராவது உங்களிடம், ‘அதோ அங்கே அவர், வெளியே பாலைவனத்தில் இருக்கிறார்’ என்று சொன்னால், அங்கே போகாதிருங்கள்; ‘இதோ இங்கே அவர், உள்ளறையில் இருக்கிறார்’ என்று சொன்னால், அதையும் நம்பாதிருங்கள்.
If therefore they shall say to you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: or, Behold, he is in the inner chamber; believe not.
27 ஏனெனில் கிழக்கிலிருந்து வரும் மின்னல் மேற்கிலும் தெரிவது போலவே, மானிடமகனாகிய என்னுடைய வருகையும் இருக்கும்.
As the lightning cometh forth from the east, and is seen unto the west, so shall be the advent of the Son of man.
28 எங்கேயாவது பிணம் கிடந்தால், அங்கே கழுகுகள் ஒன்றுகூடும்.
But where the body shall be, there will be assembled the eagles.
29 “அந்த நாட்களின் பெருந்துன்பம் முடிந்த உடனேயே, “‘சூரியன் இருள் அடையும், சந்திரன் தனது வெளிச்சத்தைக் கொடாதிருக்கும்; வானத்தின் நட்சத்திரங்கள் விழும், வானத்தின் அதிகாரங்கள் அசைக்கப்படும்.’
But immediately after the affliction of those days, the sun will become dark, and the moon show not her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven be commoved.
30 “அவ்வேளையில், மானிடமகனாகிய நான் திரும்பி வருவதன் அறிகுறி ஆகாயத்தில் தோன்றும். பூமியிலுள்ள ஜனங்களெல்லாம் புலம்புவார்கள். மானிடமகனாகிய நான் அதிகாரத்துடனும், மிக்க மகிமையுடனும், ஆகாயத்து மேகங்கள்மேல் வருவதை, அவர்கள் காண்பார்கள்.
And then shall be seen the standard of the Son of man in heaven, and then all the generations of the earth shall wail, and they shall see the Son of man coming upon the clouds of heaven, with great power and glory.
31 நான் என் தூதர்களை சத்தமான எக்காள அழைப்புடன் அனுப்பி, என்னால் தெரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவர்களை, வானத்தின் ஒரு முனையிலிருந்து, மறுமுனை வரைக்குமுள்ள நான்கு திசைகளிலுமிருந்து சேர்த்துக்கொள்வேன்.
And he shall send his angels with the great trumpet, and they shall gather the chosen who are his from the four winds and from the ends of heaven.
32 “இப்பொழுது அத்திமரத்திலிருந்து இந்தப் பாடத்தைக் கற்றுக்கொள்ளுங்கள்: அதில் சிறு கிளைகள் தோன்றி இலைகள் வரும்போது, கோடைகாலம் நெருங்குகிறது என்று அறிகிறீர்கள்.
But from the fig-tree learn a parable: As soon as her branches are soft, and they put forth her leaves, you know that summer draweth nigh.
33 அவ்வாறே இவற்றையெல்லாம் நீங்கள் காணும்போது, முடிவுகாலம் நெருங்கி வாசலருகே வந்துவிட்டது என்று அறிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.
So also, when all these are seen, you know that it cometh to the door.
34 நான் உங்களுக்கு உண்மையைச் சொல்கிறேன், இந்தக் காரியங்களெல்லாம் நடந்துமுடியும் வரைக்கும், நிச்சயமாகவே இந்தத் தலைமுறை ஒழிந்துபோகாது.
Amen I say to you, that this race shall not have passed away until all these shall take place.
35 வானமும் பூமியும் ஒழிந்துபோகும், ஆனால் என் வார்த்தைகளோ ஒருபோதும் ஒழிந்துபோகாது.
Heaven and earth shall pass away; but my words shall not pass away.
36 “அந்த நாளையோ, அந்த நேரத்தையோ ஒருவனும் அறியமாட்டான். ஏன், பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற தூதர்களுக்கும் மானிடமகனாகிய எனக்கும் தெரியாது; ஆனால் பிதா மட்டுமே அதை அறிவார்.
BUT concerning that day and concerning that hour, no man knoweth; neither the angels of heaven, but the Father only.
37 நோவாவின் நாட்களில் இருந்ததுபோலவே, மானிடமகனாகிய எனது வருகையின் நாட்களிலும் இருக்கும்.
But as the days of Nûch, so shall be the coming of the Son of man.
38 ஏனெனில் பெருவெள்ளத்திற்கு முன்பு இருந்த நாட்களில், நோவா பேழைக்குள் போகும்வரைக்கும் மக்கள் சாப்பிட்டுக்கொண்டும் குடித்துக்கொண்டும், திருமணம் செய்துகொண்டும், திருமணம் செய்துகொடுத்துக்கொண்டும் இருந்தார்கள்.
For as before the deluge they were eating and drinking, taking wives and giving to husbands, until the day that Nûch went into the ark;
39 பெருவெள்ளம் வந்து அவர்கள் எல்லோரையும் அடித்துக்கொண்டு போகும்வரைக்கும், என்ன நடக்கும் என்பதைப்பற்றி அவர்கள் ஒன்றுமே அறியாதிருந்தார்கள். இதைப்போலவே, மானிடமகனாகிய எனது வருகையின் போதும் இருக்கும்.
and knew not till the deluge came, and carried them all away; so shalt be the advent of the Son of man.
40 இரண்டுபேர் வயலில் இருப்பார்கள்; ஒருவன் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படுவான், மற்றவன் விட்டுவிடப்படுவான்.
Then two shall be in the field; one shall be taken, and one be left.
41 இரண்டு பெண்கள் திரிகைக் கல்லில் அரைத்துக் கொண்டிருப்பார்கள்; ஒருத்தி எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படுவாள், மற்றவள் விட்டுவிடப்படுவாள்.
Two shall be grinding in the mill; one is taken, and one is left.
42 “ஆகையால் விழிப்பாயிருங்கள், ஏனெனில் உங்கள் ஆண்டவர் எந்த நாளில் வருவார் என்று உங்களுக்குத் தெரியாதே.
Be wakeful therefore, because ye know not in what hour cometh your Lord.
43 நீங்கள் இதை விளங்கிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்: திருடன் இரவில் எந்த நேரம் வருவான் என்று வீட்டின் சொந்தக்காரன் அறிந்திருந்தால், அவன் விழித்திருந்து தன் வீட்டைத் திருடன் உடைத்து நுழையாதபடி பார்த்துக்கொள்வானே.
But this know; that if the master of the house knew in what watch the thief would come, he would have been watching, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.
44 எனவே நீங்களும் ஆயத்தமாயிருக்க வேண்டும். ஏனெனில், மானிடமகனாகிய நான் நீங்கள் எதிர்பாராத நேரத்திலே வருவேன்.
Wherefore be ye also prepared, because in the hour that ye expect not shall come the Son of man.
45 “அப்படியானால் உண்மையும் ஞானமும் உள்ள வேலைக்காரன் யார்? அவனே தனது வீட்டில் உள்ள வேலைக்காரருக்கு ஏற்றவேளையில் உணவைக் கொடுக்கும்படி, எஜமான் பொறுப்பாக வைத்த வேலைக்காரன்.
WHO is the servant faithful and wise whom his lord shall appoint over the children of his house, to give every one his meat in his time?
46 தனது எஜமான் திரும்பி வரும்போது, அவ்வாறே செய்கிறவனாகக் காணப்படுகிற வேலைக்காரன் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவன்.
Blessed is that servant, who, when cometh his lord, shall be found doing so.
47 நான் உங்களுக்கு உண்மையைச் சொல்கிறேன், அவன் தனது உடைமைகள் எல்லாவற்றிற்கும், அவனையே பொறுப்பாக வைப்பான்.
Amen I say to you, that he will establish him over all that he hath.
48 ஆனால் அந்த வேலைக்காரன் கொடியவனாய் இருந்து, ‘எனது எஜமான் நீண்ட காலமாய் தொலைவில் இருக்கிறார்’ என்று தனக்குள்ளே சொல்லிக்கொண்டு,
But if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord withholdeth to come;
49 தனது உடன்வேலைக்காரர்களை அடிக்கவும், குடிகாரருடன் சேர்ந்து சாப்பிட்டு, குடித்து, வெறிகொள்ளவும் தொடங்கினால்,
and shall begin to beat his fellow-servants, and shall be eating and drinking with drunkards;
50 அந்த வேலைக்காரனின் எஜமான் அவன் எதிர்பாராத ஒரு நாளிலும், அவன் அறிந்திராத வேளையிலும் வருவான்.
the lord of that servant shall come in a day that he computeth not, and in an hour which he doth not know,
51 எஜமான் வந்து அவனைப் பயங்கரமான தண்டனைக்குள்ளாக்கி, வேஷக்காரருக்குரிய இடத்தில் தள்ளிவிடுவான்; அங்கே அழுகையும் பற்கடிப்பும் இருக்கும்.”
and shall sunder him, and set his lot with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
