மல்கியா 4
1 “நிச்சயமாகவே அந்த நாள் வருகிறது; அது சூளையைப்போல் எரியும். அப்பொழுது ஆணவம் கொண்ட எல்லோரும் தீமைசெய்கிற ஒவ்வொருவரும், பயிரின் அடித்தாழைப்போல் ஆவார்கள்; வரப்போகிற அந்த நாள் அவர்களைச் சுட்டெரிக்கும்; வேரோ கிளையோ அவர்களுக்காக மிஞ்சுவதில்லை என சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.
For, behold, the day comes, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yes, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that comes shall burn them up, says the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2 ஆனால் என் பெயரில் பயபக்தியுடன் வாழ்கிற உங்களுக்கு, நீதியின் சூரியன் உதிப்பார். அவரின் ஒளிக்கதிரில் சுகம் கொடுக்கும் தன்மை இருக்கும். நீங்களும் தொழுவத்திலிருந்து கட்டவிழ்க்கப்பட்டு வெளியே போகும் கன்றுகளைப்போல, துள்ளிக் குதிப்பீர்கள்.
But to you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and you shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3 நீங்கள் கொடியவர்களை மிதிப்பீர்கள்; நான் இவற்றைச் செய்யும் அந்த நாளில், அவர்கள் உங்கள் காலடிகளின் கீழே சாம்பலாவார்கள் என சேனைகளின் யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.
And you shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, says the LORD of hosts.
4 “என் அடியவன் மோசே, கொடுத்த சட்டத்தை நினைவுகூருங்கள். இஸ்ரயேலர் எல்லாருக்காகவும் நான் என் அடியவன் மோசேக்கு ஓரேப் மலையில் கொடுத்த விதிமுறைகளையும், சட்டங்களையும் நினைவிற்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
Remember you the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
5 “இதோ பாருங்கள், யெகோவாவின் பெரிதும் திகிலூட்டுகிறதுமான நாள் வருகிறது. அது வருவதற்கு முன்பாக நான் இறைவாக்கினன் எலியாவை அனுப்புவேன்.
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
6 அவன் பெற்றோரின் இருதயங்களைப் பிள்ளைகளிடமும், பிள்ளைகளின் இருதயங்களை அவர்கள் பெற்றோரிடமும் திருப்புவான்; இல்லாவிடில் நான் வந்து நாட்டைச் சாபத்தால் தண்டிப்பேன்.”
And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
