லூக்கா 4
1 இயேசு பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரால் நிறைந்தவராக, யோர்தான் நதியிலிருந்து திரும்பிவந்து ஆவியானவரால் பாலைவனத்திற்கு வழிநடத்தப்பட்டார்.
Then Jesus, full of Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,
2 அங்கே அவர் பிசாசினால் நாற்பது நாட்களாக சோதிக்கப்பட்டார். அந்நாட்களில் அவர் ஒன்றும் சாப்பிடவில்லை; அந்த நாட்கள் முடிந்தவுடன் அவர் பசியாயிருந்தார்.
where He was tested for forty days by the devil. He ate nothing at all during those days, so after they were completed He was hungry.
3 சாத்தான் அவரிடம், “நீர் இறைவனின் மகனானால், இந்தக் கல் அப்பமாகும்படி சொல்லும்” என்றான்.
So the devil said to Him, “Since you are Son of God, tell this stone to become bread!”
4 அதற்கு இயேசு, “‘மனிதன் அப்பத்தினால் மட்டும் உயிர் பிழைப்பதில்லை’ என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறதே” எனப் பதிலளித்தார்.
Jesus answered him saying, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’”
5 சாத்தான் இயேசுவை உயரமான ஒரு இடத்திற்குக் கூட்டிச்சென்று, ஒரு வினாடியில் உலகத்தின் எல்லா அரசுகளையும் அவருக்குக் காண்பித்தான்.
And taking Him up on a high mountain, the devil showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 பிறகு சாத்தான் அவரிடம், “இந்த அரசுகள் எல்லாவற்றின் அதிகாரத்தையும் மாட்சிமையையும் நான் உமக்குத் தருவேன்; ஏனெனில் அது எனக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது, நான் விரும்பினால் அதை எவருக்கும் கொடுக்க என்னால் முடியும்.
The devil said to Him: “To you I will give all this authority, and their glory, because it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I want to.
7 நீர் என்னை வணங்கினால், இவையெல்லாம் உம்முடையவையாகும்” என்றான்.
So you, if you would worship before me, all will be yours.”
8 அதற்கு இயேசு, “‘உனது இறைவனாகிய கர்த்தரை வழிபட்டு, அவர் ஒருவரையே பணிந்துகொள்’ என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறதே” என்று பதிலளித்தார்.
In answer Jesus said to him: “Get behind me, Satan! It is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve!’”
9 பின்பு சாத்தான், அவரை எருசலேமுக்குக் கொண்டுசென்று, ஆலயத்தின் உச்சியிலே நிறுத்தி சொன்னதாவது, “நீர் இறைவனுடைய மகனானால் இங்கிருந்து கீழே குதியும்.
He also took Him to Jerusalem and set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him: “Since you are Son of God, throw yourself down from here;
10 ஏனெனில், “‘உம்மைக் காக்கும்படிக்கு, இறைவன் தமது தூதர்களுக்கு உம்மைக் குறித்துக் கட்டளையிடுவார் என்றும்;
because it is written, ‘He will give His angels orders concerning you, to protect you,’
11 உமது கால்கள் கல்லில் மோதாதபடி, அவர்கள் உம்மைத் தங்கள் கரங்களில் தாங்கிக்கொள்வார்கள் என்றும் எழுதியிருக்கிறதே.’”
and, ‘They will carry you along on their hands, so you do not stub your foot on a stone.’”
12 அதற்கு இயேசு, “‘உனது இறைவனாகிய கர்த்தரைச் சோதிக்க வேண்டாம்’ என்றும் எழுதியிருக்கிறதே” என்றார்.
In answer Jesus said to him: “The statement stands, ‘You shall not test the Lord your God!’”
13 இவ்விதமாக சாத்தான் சோதனைகள் எல்லாவற்றையும் முடித்தபின்பு, ஏற்ற காலம் வரும்வரை இயேசுவைவிட்டுப் போய்விட்டான்.
Having finished every test, the devil departed from Him until an opportune time.
14 இயேசு பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் வல்லமையுடன் கலிலேயாவுக்குத் திரும்பிச் சென்றார்; அவரைப் பற்றியச் செய்தி நாட்டுப்புறம் முழுவதிலும் பரவியது.
Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee, and news about Him spread throughout the whole surrounding area;
15 இயேசு யூதர்களுடைய ஜெப ஆலயங்களில் போதித்தார், எல்லோரும் அவரைப் புகழ்ந்தார்கள்.
yes, He started teaching in their synagogues, being glorified by all.
16 இயேசு தாம் வளர்ந்த ஊராகிய நாசரேத்திற்கு வந்து, ஓய்வுநாளிலே தமது வழக்கத்தின்படி அவர் ஜெப ஆலயத்திற்குப்போய், அங்கே வேதவசனத்தை வாசிக்கும்படி எழுந்து நின்றார்.
So He came to Natsareth, where He had been brought up; as was His custom He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read.
17 அங்கே இறைவாக்கினன் ஏசாயாவின் புத்தகச்சுருள் அவருக்குக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது. அவர் அதைப் விரித்து, இவ்வாறு எழுதியிருந்த இடத்தைக் கண்டு வாசித்தார்:
The book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him, so unrolling the scroll He found the place where it was written:
18 “கர்த்தருடைய ஆவியானவர் என்மேல் இருக்கிறார், ஏனெனில் ஏழைகளுக்கு நற்செய்தியை அறிவிக்கும்படி, அவர் என்னை அபிஷேகம் பண்ணினார். அவர் என்னை சிறைப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு விடுதலை அறிவிக்கவும், குருடருக்கு பார்வையை அளிக்கவும், ஒடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களை விடுதலையாக்கவும்,
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to evangelize poor people. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to captives and recovery of sight to blind people, to send those who are oppressed out in freedom,
19 கர்த்தருடைய தயவின் வருடத்தைப் பிரசித்தப்படுத்தம் என்னை அனுப்பியிருக்கிறார்.”
to proclaim the Lord's favorable year.”
20 பின்பு இயேசு அந்தப் புத்தகச்சுருளைச் சுருட்டி, பணிவிடைக்காரனிடம் திருப்பிக் கொடுத்துவிட்டு உட்கார்ந்தார். ஜெப ஆலயத்திலிருந்த எல்லோருடைய கண்களும் அவரையே பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தன.
Then, having rolled up the scroll and returned it to the attendant, He sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on Him,
21 அப்பொழுது இயேசு அவர்களை நோக்கி, “நீங்கள் கேட்ட இந்த வேதவசனம் இன்று நிறைவேறிற்று” என்றார்.
and He began by saying to them, “Today, this Scripture in your ears has been fulfilled.”
22 எல்லோரும் அவரைக்குறித்து நன்றாகப் பேசினார்கள்; அவருடைய உதடுகளிலிருந்து வந்த கிருபையுள்ள வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டு வியப்படைந்தார்கள். அவர்கள், “இவன் யோசேப்பின் மகன் அல்லவா?” என்றார்கள்.
(All were bearing witness to Him and were marveling at the gracious words that were coming out of His mouth; and they started saying, “Isn't this the son of Joseph?”)
23 இயேசு அவர்களைப் பார்த்து, “‘வைத்தியனே, உன்னையே சுகப்படுத்திக்கொள்!’ என்ற பழமொழியை நிச்சயமாகவே நீங்கள் எனக்குச் சொல்வீர்கள். ‘கப்பர்நகூமில் நீ செய்ததாக நாங்கள் கேள்விப்பட்டதை உனது சொந்த ஊராகிய இவ்விடத்திலும் செய்’” என்றும் சொல்வீர்கள்.
He said to them: “Doubtless you will quote this parable to me: ‘Physician, heal yourself!’—do here in your hometown the things we have heard were done in Capernaum.”
24 ஆனால், “நான் உங்களுக்கு உண்மையைச் சொல்கிறேன்; எந்த இறைவாக்கினனும் தனது சொந்த ஊரில் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படுவதில்லை.
Then He said: “Assuredly I say to you, no prophet is welcome in his hometown.
25 நான் நிச்சயமாகச் சொல்கிறேன், எலியாவின் காலத்தில் மூன்றரை வருடங்களாக வானம் அடைபட்டு, இஸ்ரயேல் எங்கும் கடுமையான பஞ்சம் நிலவியபோது, அங்கே அநேக விதவைகள் இருந்தார்கள்.
Further, I can assure you that there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut for three years and six months and a severe famine came over all the land;
26 ஆனால், இஸ்ரயேலில் உள்ள விதவைகளில் எவரிடத்திலும் எலியா அனுப்பப்படவில்லை. ஆனால் சீதோன் நாட்டிலுள்ள சாறிபாத் ஊரிலிருந்த ஒரு விதவையினிடத்திற்கே அனுப்பப்பட்டான்.
yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow woman in Sarepta, near Sidon.
27 இறைவாக்கினன் எலிசாவின் காலத்தில் இஸ்ரயேலில் பல குஷ்டவியாதி உடையவர்கள் இருந்தார்கள். ஆனால், அவர்களில் ஒருவனும் அதிலிருந்து சுகப்படுத்தப்படவில்லை. சீரியாவைச் சேர்ந்த நாகமான் மட்டுமே சுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டான்” என்றார்.
And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of the prophet Elisha, yet not one of them was cleansed—just Naaman the Syrian.”
28 இதைக் கேட்டபோது ஜெப ஆலயத்திலிருந்த எல்லோரும் கடுங்கோபமடைந்தார்கள்.
Well, upon hearing these things everyone in the synagogue was filled with fury,
29 அவர்கள் எழுந்து, பட்டணத்தைவிட்டு அவரைத் துரத்தினார்கள். அந்தப் பட்டணம் கட்டப்பட்டிருந்த மலையிலிருந்து அவரைக் கீழே தள்ளிவிடும்படி, மலையுச்சியின் ஓரத்திற்கு அவரைக் கொண்டுபோனார்கள்.
and rising up they drove Him out of the town and took Him to the brow of the hill on which the town was built, in order to throw Him off the cliff.
30 அவரோ மக்கள் நடுவே நடந்து சென்று அங்கிருந்து போய்விட்டார்.
But He, passing through the middle of them, went on His way.
31 பின்பு இயேசு கலிலேயாவிலுள்ள கப்பர்நகூம் என்னும் பட்டணத்திற்கு போய், ஓய்வுநாளிலே அங்குள்ள மக்களுக்குப் போதிக்கத் தொடங்கினார்.
Then He went down to Capernaum, a town in Galilee; He started teaching them on the Sabbaths.
32 அவர்கள் அவருடைய போதனையைக் கேட்டு வியப்படைந்தார்கள். ஏனெனில் அவருடைய வார்த்தைகள் அதிகாரமுடையதாயிருந்தது.
They kept on being amazed at His teaching, because His word was with authority.
33 ஜெப ஆலயத்திலே அசுத்த ஆவி பிடித்திருந்த ஒருவன் இருந்தான். அவன் உரத்த சத்தமாய்க் கூப்பிட்டு,
Now in the synagogue was a man having a spirit of an unclean demon; he cried out with a loud voice
34 “நசரேயனாகிய இயேசுவே போய்விடும்! எங்களிடம் உமக்கு என்ன வேண்டும்? எங்களை அழிப்பதற்காகவா வந்தீர்? நீர் யார் என்று எனக்குத் தெரியும்; நீர் இறைவனுடைய பரிசுத்தர்!” என்றான்.
saying: “Ugh! What do you want with us, Jesus of Natsareth? Did you come to destroy us? I know who you are, the Holy One of God!”
35 “அமைதியாயிரு! இவனைவிட்டு வெளியே போ” என்று இயேசு அவனை அதட்டினார். அப்பொழுது அந்த தீய ஆவி அவர்கள் எல்லோருக்கும் முன்பாக அவனை விழத்தள்ளி விட்டு, அவனுக்கு காயம் ஏதும் உண்டாக்காமல் வெளியேறியது.
So Jesus rebuked him saying, “Be muzzled, and get out of him!” When the demon had thrown him down in the midst, it came out of him without harming him.
36 எல்லா மக்களும் வியப்படைந்து, “இவை என்ன வார்த்தைகள்! அவர் அதிகாரத்தோடும் வல்லமையோடும் தீய ஆவிகளுக்குக்கூட கட்டளையிடுகிறார், அவைகளும் வெளியேறுகின்றன!” என்று ஒருவரோடொருவர் பேசிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
Everyone was taken with amazement and they started conversing together, saying: “What is this word! For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”
37 இயேசுவைப்பற்றிய இச்செய்தி, சுற்றுப்புறம் எங்கும் பரவியது.
And the news about Him started going out to every place of the surrounding region.
38 இயேசு ஜெப ஆலயத்தைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, சீமோனுடைய வீட்டிற்குச் சென்றார். அங்கே சீமோனின் மாமியார் கடும் காய்ச்சலினால் வேதனைப்பட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்தாள்; எனவே சிலர் அவளுக்காக இயேசுவை வேண்டிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
Then He left the synagogue and entered Simon's house. But Simon's mother-in-law was suffering with a high fever, and they requested Him on her behalf.
39 இயேசுவோ அவள் அருகில் குனிந்து, அந்தக் காய்ச்சலைக் கடிந்துகொள்ள அது அவளைவிட்டுப் போயிற்று. உடனே அவள் சுகமடைந்து எழுந்து, அவர்களுக்குப் பணிவிடை செய்யத் தொடங்கினாள்.
So He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. Immediately she got up and began to serve them.
40 சூரியன் மறையும்போது மக்கள் தங்கள் மத்தியிலிருந்த பல்வேறு வியாதியுடையவர்களை இயேசுவிடம் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள்; இயேசு அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொருவர்மேலும் தமது கைகளை வைத்து அவர்களைக் குணமாக்கினார்.
Now when the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on each one of them and healed them.
41 அத்துடன் பலரில் இருந்த பிசாசுகளும், “நீர் இறைவனின் மகன்!” என்று சத்தமிட்டுக்கொண்டு, அவர்களிலிருந்து வெளியேறின. அந்தப் பிசாசுகள் அவரே கிறிஸ்து என்று அறிந்திருந்தபடியால், அவர் அவைகளைப் பேசுவதற்கு இடங்கொடாமல் அதட்டினார்.
Moreover, demons came out of many, crying out and saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of God!” But rebuking them He would not allow them to continue speaking, because they knew that He was the Messiah.
42 அதிகாலை வேளையிலே இயேசு புறப்பட்டு ஒரு தனிமையான இடத்திற்குப் போனார். மக்களோ அவரைத் தேடிக்கொண்டு அவர் இருந்த இடத்திற்கு வந்தபோது, அவர் தங்களைவிட்டு வேறெங்கும் போகாமல் தங்களுடன் இருக்கும்படி முயற்சிசெய்தார்கள்.
Now at daybreak He departed and went to a deserted place; so the crowds started looking for Him and came to Him, and tried to keep Him from leaving them.
43 ஆனால் அவரோ அவர்களைப் பார்த்து, “நான் மற்ற பட்டணங்களில் உள்ளவர்களுக்கும் இறைவனுடைய அரசின் நற்செய்தியைப் பிரசங்கிக்க வேண்டும். இதற்காகவே நான் அனுப்பப்பட்டேன்” என்றார்.
But He said to them, “I must proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God to the other towns also, because for this purpose I have been sent.”
44 பிறகு அவர் யூதேயாவிலுள்ள ஜெப ஆலயங்களுக்குச் சென்று, தொடர்ந்து நற்செய்தியைப் பிரசங்கித்தார்.
So He went preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.
