லூக்கா 24
1 வாரத்தின் முதலாம் நாள் அதிகாலையிலேயே, அந்தப் பெண்கள் தாங்கள் ஆயத்தம் செய்திருந்த நறுமணப் பொருட்களை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, கல்லறையை நோக்கிச் சென்றார்கள்.
Now upon the first [day] of the week, very early in the morning, they came to the sepulcher, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain [others] with them.
2 அங்கே கல்லறை வாசலில் வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த கல் புரட்டித் தள்ளப்பட்டிருப்பதைக் கண்டார்கள்.
And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulcher.
3 அவர்கள் உள்ளே நுழைந்தபோது, கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுவினுடைய உடலைக் காணாமல்,
And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 அவர்கள் அதைக்குறித்து யோசிக்கையில், திடீரென்று மின்னலைப் போல மின்னுகின்ற உடைகளை அணிந்திருந்த இரண்டுபேர் அவர்களின் அருகே நின்றார்கள்.
And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed at this, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments.
5 அந்தப் பெண்களோ பயந்துபோய், தலைகுனிந்து தரையைப் பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். அந்த இரண்டு பேரும் அவர்களிடம், “உயிருடன் இருக்கிறவரை, நீங்கள் ஏன் இறந்தவர்களிடையே தேடுகிறீர்கள்?
And as they were afraid, and bowed down [their] faces to the earth, they said to them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?
6 அவர் இங்கே இல்லை; அவர் உயிருடன் எழுந்துவிட்டார்! அவர் உங்களுடன் கலிலேயாவில் இருக்கையிலே, உங்களுக்குச் சொன்னது ஞாபகமில்லையா:
He is not here, but is risen. Remember how he spoke to you when he was yet in Galilee,
7 ‘மானிடமகனாகிய நான் பாவிகளின் கையில் ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்பட்டு, சிலுவையில் அறையப்படவேண்டும்; மூன்றாம் நாளிலே, திரும்பவும் உயிருடன் எழுந்திருக்க வேண்டும்’ என்று அவர் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லியிருந்தாரே” என்றார்கள்.
Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.
8 அப்பொழுது இயேசுவினுடைய வார்த்தைகள் அந்த பெண்களின் நினைவிற்கு வந்தன.
And they remembered his words,
9 அவர்கள் கல்லறையில் இருந்து திரும்பிவந்தபோது, இவை எல்லாவற்றையும் பதினொரு அப்போஸ்தலரிடமும், மற்றெல்லோரிடமும் சொன்னார்கள்.
And returned from the sepulcher, and told all these things to the eleven, and to all the rest.
10 மகதலேனா மரியாள், யோவன்னாள், யாக்கோபின் தாயாகிய மரியாள் ஆகியோரும், அவர்களுடன் இருந்த மற்ற பெண்களும், அப்போஸ்தலருக்கு இதைச் சொன்னார்கள்.
It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary [the mother] of James, and other [women that were] with them, who told these things to the apostles.
11 அவர்களோ, இந்தப் பெண்கள் சொன்னதை நம்பவில்லை. இவர்கள் சொன்னது அவர்களுக்கு வீண்பேச்சாகத் தோன்றியது.
And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.
12 ஆனால், பேதுரு எழுந்து கல்லறையை நோக்கி ஓடினான். அவன் அங்கு எட்டிப் பார்த்தபோது, அவரைச் சுற்றியிருந்த மெல்லிய துணிகள் மட்டும் கிடப்பதைக் கண்டான். அப்பொழுது அவன், என்ன நடந்ததோ என்று தனக்குள்ளே யோசித்துக் கொண்டு திரும்பிப்போனான்.
Then Peter arose, and ran to the sepulcher, and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which had come to pass.
13 இதே நாளிலே, சீடர்களில் இரண்டுபேர் எம்மாவூ எனப்பட்ட கிராமத்தை நோக்கிப் போய்க்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். இது எருசலேமில் இருந்து 11 கிலோமீட்டர் தூரம் இருந்தது.
And behold, two of them went that same day to a village called Emmaus, which was from Jerusalem [about] sixty furlongs.
14 அவர்கள் இருவரும், நடந்த எல்லாவற்றையும் குறித்து பேசிக்கொண்டே சென்றார்கள்.
And they talked together of all these things which had happened.
15 அவர்கள், இப்படி இந்தக் காரியங்களைக்குறித்து கலந்துரையாடிக்கொண்டு போகையில், இயேசு தாமே அவர்களுக்கு அருகே வந்து, அவர்களோடு கூடப்போனார்;
And it came to pass, that, while they communed [together], and reasoned, Jesus himself drew near, and went with them.
16 ஆனால், அவர் யார் என்று அறியாமலிருக்க அவர்களின் கண்கள் மூடப்பட்டிருந்தது.
But their eyes were held, that they should not know him.
17 இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “நீங்கள் வழிநெடுகிலும் ஒருவரோடொருவர் எதைக் குறித்து பேசிக்கொண்டீர்கள்?” என்று கேட்டார். அவர்கள் துக்கம் தோய்ந்த முகத்துடன் அந்த இடத்திலே நின்றார்கள்.
And he said to them, What manner of communications [are] these that ye have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?
18 அவர்களில் ஒருவனான கிலெயோப்பா என்பவன் அவரிடம், “அப்படியானால் இந்நாட்களில் எருசலேமில் நடந்த காரியங்களை அறியாதபடிக்கு நீர் அந்நியரோ?” என்று கேட்டான்.
And one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering, said to him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which have come to pass there in these days?
19 அதற்கு அவர், “என்ன காரியங்கள்?” என்று கேட்டார். அவர்கள் இயேசுவுக்குப் பதிலாக: “நசரேயனாகிய இயேசுவைக்குறித்தவைகளே! அவர் இறைவனுக்கு முன்பாகவும், எல்லா மக்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும் வார்த்தையிலும், செயலிலும் வல்லமையுள்ள இறைவாக்கினராக இருந்தார்.
And he said to them, What things? And they said to him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God, and all the people:
20 தலைமை ஆசாரியர்களும், எங்கள் ஆட்சியர்களும் அவரை மரண தண்டனைத் தீர்ப்புக்கு உட்படுத்தி, அவரை சிலுவையில் அறைந்தார்கள்;
And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and crucified him.
21 நாங்களோ, இஸ்ரயேலை மீட்கப் போகிறவர் அவரே என்று நம்பிக்கைக் கொண்டிருந்தோம். இவையெல்லாம் நடந்தேறி மூன்று நாட்கள் ஆகின்றன.
But we trusted that it had been he who would have redeemed Israel: and besides all this, to-day is the third day since these things were done.
22 அதுவுமல்லாமல், எங்களைச் சேர்ந்த சில பெண்கள் இன்று அதிகாலையில் கல்லறைக்குச் சென்றார்கள். அவர்கள் எங்களுக்குத் திகைப்பூட்டும் செய்தியைக் கொண்டுவந்திருக்கிறார்கள்.
Yes, and certain women also of our company made us astonished, who were early at the sepulcher.
23 அவர்கள், அவருடைய உடலைக் காணவில்லை. அத்துடன் அந்தப் பெண்கள், இறைத்தூதர்களை கண்டதாகவும், இயேசு உயிரோடு இருப்பதாக இறைத்தூதர்கள் தங்களுக்குச் சொன்னதாகவும் எங்களிடம் வந்து சொன்னார்கள்.
And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.
24 அப்பொழுது, எங்களுடைய கூட்டாளிகளில் சிலர் கல்லறைக்குப் போய், பெண்கள் சொன்னபடியே அதைக் கண்டார்கள். இயேசுவையோ அவர்கள் காணவில்லை” என்றார்கள்.
And certain of them who were with us, went to the sepulcher, and found [it] even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
25 அப்பொழுது இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “இறைவாக்கினர் சொன்னதை எல்லாம் விசுவாசிக்கிறதற்குப் புத்தியில்லாத மந்த இருதயமுள்ளவர்களே!
Then he said to them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!
26 கிறிஸ்து இந்த வேதனைகளை எல்லாம் அனுபவித்தபின் மகிமைக்குள் பிரவேசிக்க வேண்டுமல்லவா?”
Ought not Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory?
27 என்று சொல்லி, மோசே தொடங்கி எல்லா இறைவாக்கினரும், தம்மைக் குறித்துச் சொல்லியிருந்த வேதவசனங்களை எல்லாம் எடுத்து, இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு விவரித்துக் காண்பித்தார்.
And beginning at Moses, and all the prophets, he expounded to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
28 அவர்கள் போய்க்கொண்டிருந்த கிராமத்துக்கு அருகில் வந்ததும், இயேசு தாம் தொடர்ந்து அதற்கு அப்பால் போகிறவர்போல காட்டிக்கொண்டார்.
And they drew nigh to the village whither they were going: and he made as though he would go further.
29 அவர்கள் அவரிடம், “நீர் எங்களுடன் தங்கும், மாலை நேரம் ஆயிற்று; பொழுதும் போயிற்று” என்று அவரை வற்புறுத்திக் கேட்டார்கள். எனவே, இயேசு அவர்களுடன் தங்கும்படி சென்றார்.
But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is towards evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
30 இயேசு அவர்களோடு சாப்பாட்டுப் பந்தியில் இருக்கையில், அவர் அப்பத்தை எடுத்து நன்றி செலுத்தியபின், அதைப் பிட்டு அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கத் தொடங்கினார்.
And it came to pass, as he sat at table with them, he took bread, and blessed [it], and broke, and gave to them.
31 அப்பொழுது அவர்களுடைய கண்கள் திறக்கப்பட்டன. அவர்கள் அவரை இன்னார் என்று அடையாளம் கண்டுகொண்டார்கள். உடனே, இயேசு அவர்களுடைய பார்வையில் இருந்து மறைந்து போய்விட்டார்.
And their eyes were opened, and they knew him: and he vanished out of their sight.
32 அப்பொழுது அவர்கள், “வழியிலே அவர் நம்மோடு பேசியபோதும், வேதவசனங்களை நமக்கு விளக்கும்போதும், நம்முடைய இருதயங்கள் நமக்குள்ளே பற்றி எரிந்ததல்லவா?” என்று, ஒருவரோடொருவர் சொல்லிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
33 அவர்கள் எழுந்து, உடனே எருசலேமுக்குத் திரும்பிச் சென்றார்கள். அங்கே பதினொருவரும், அவர்களுடன் இருந்தவர்களும் ஒன்றுகூடியிருப்பதைக் கண்டார்கள்.
And they rose the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven assembled, and them that were with them,
34 அவர்கள் எல்லோரும், “கர்த்தர் உயிரோடு எழுந்திருக்கிறார். அவர் சீமோனுக்குக் காட்சியளித்தது உண்மைதான்!” என்று சொல்லிக்கொண்டார்கள்.
Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.
35 அப்பொழுது, இந்த இருவரும் தங்களுக்கு வழியிலே நடந்ததையும், இயேசு அப்பத்தைப் பிட்டுக் கொடுத்தபோது, தாங்கள் அவரை எப்படி அறிந்துகொண்டார்கள் என்பதையும் அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்னார்கள்.
And they told what things [were done] in the way, and how he was known to them in breaking of bread.
36 சீடர்கள் இதைப்பற்றிப் பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கும்போதே, இயேசு தாமே அவர்கள் நடுவே நின்று, “உங்களுக்கு சமாதானம் உண்டாவதாக” என்று சொன்னார்.
And as they were thus speaking, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith to them, Peace [be] to you.
37 அவர்கள் திடுக்கிட்டு பயமடைந்து, தாங்கள் இறந்துபோனவரின் ஆவியைக் காண்கிறதாக நினைத்துக் கொண்டார்கள்.
But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.
38 இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “நீங்கள் ஏன் குழப்பம் அடைந்திருக்கிறீர்கள்? உங்கள் உள்ளங்களில் ஏன் சந்தேகம் எழும்புகிறது?
And he said to them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?
39 என்னுடைய கைகளையும், கால்களையும் பாருங்கள். இது நான், நானேதான்! என்னைத் தொட்டுப் பாருங்கள்; நீங்கள் என்னில் காண்கிறதுபோல, சதையும் எலும்புகளும் ஒரு ஆவிக்கு இருப்பதில்லையே?” என்றார்.
Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
40 இயேசு இதைச் சொல்லி முடித்தபோது, தமது கைகளையும் கால்களையும் அவர்களுக்குக் காண்பித்தார்.
And when he had thus spoken, he showed them [his] hands and [his] feet.
41 அவர்களோ சந்தோஷத்தாலும், வியப்பாலும் நிறைந்தார்கள். அதை அவர்களால் இன்னும் நம்பமுடியவில்லை. அப்பொழுது இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “சாப்பிடுகிறதற்கு ஏதாவது இங்கே உங்களிடம் இருக்கிறதா?” என்று கேட்டார்.
And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said to them, Have ye here any thing for food?
42 அவர்கள் நெருப்பில் சுட்ட ஒரு மீன் துண்டை அவருக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்.
And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and a honey-comb.
43 அவர் அதை எடுத்து, அவர்கள் முன்பாகவே சாப்பிட்டார்.
And he took [it], and ate before them.
44 “நான் உங்களோடு இருக்கையில், உங்களுக்கு இதைச் சொல்லியிருந்தேனே: மோசேயினுடைய சட்டத்திலும், இறைவாக்குகளிலும், சங்கீதங்களிலும் என்னைக்குறித்து எழுதியிருக்கிறவை யாவும் நிறைவேற வேண்டியதாயிருந்தது” என்றார்.
And he said to them, These [are] the words which I spoke to you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and [in] the prophets, and [in] the psalms, concerning me.
45 பின்பு அவர்கள், வேதவசனங்களை விளங்கிக்கொள்ளத்தக்கதாக, இயேசு அவர்களுடைய மனதைத் திறந்தார்.
Then he opened their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
46 இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “எழுதப்பட்டிருப்பது இதுவே: கிறிஸ்து வேதனை அனுபவிப்பார், மூன்றாம் நாளிலோ உயிருடன் எழுந்திருப்பார்.
And said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
47 மனந்திரும்புதலைக் குறித்ததும், பாவமன்னிப்பைக் குறித்ததுமான நற்செய்தியை, எருசலேம் தொடங்கி எல்லா ஜனங்களுக்கும், அவருடைய பெயரில் அறிவிக்கவேண்டும்.
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
48 இவைகளுக்கெல்லாம் நீங்கள் சாட்சிகளாய் இருக்கிறீர்கள்.
And ye are witnesses of these things.
49 என் பிதா உங்களுக்குத் தருவதாக வாக்களித்த பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரை, நான் உங்களுக்கு அனுப்புகிறேன்; உன்னதத்தில் இருக்கும் அந்த வல்லமையினால் நீங்கள் உடுத்துவிக்கப்படும்வரை, இந்தப் பட்டணத்திலே தங்கியிருங்கள்” என்றார்.
And behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye are endued with power from on high.
50 இயேசு பெத்தானியாவரை அவர்களைக் கூட்டிக்கொண்டுபோய், அவர் தம்முடைய கைகளை உயர்த்தி, அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதித்தார்.
And he led them out as far as to Bethany: and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.
51 இயேசு அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தபோதே, அவர்களைவிட்டுப் பரலோகத்திற்குள் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்பட்டார்.
And it came to pass, while he was blessing them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
52 அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் இயேசுவை வழிபட்டு, மிகுந்த மகிழ்ச்சியுடனே எருசலேமுக்குத் திரும்பிச் சென்றார்கள்.
And they worshiped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:
53 அவர்கள் இறைவனைத் துதித்துக்கொண்டு, ஆலயத்திலேயே தொடர்ந்து தங்கியிருந்தார்கள்.
And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.
