லூக்கா 17

1 இயேசு தமது சீடர்களிடம் சொன்னதாவது: “மக்களுக்குப் பாவச்சோதனை வருவதை தவிர்க்க முடியாது.” ஆனால், அவை யாரால் வருகிறதோ, அவனுக்கு ஐயோ.

And he said to his disciples, It is impossible for the stumbling-blocks not to come, but woe to him through whom they come!

2 இந்தச் சிறியவர்களில் ஒருவனை யாராவது பாவத்தில் விழப்பண்ணினால், அவ்வாறு செய்பவர்களின் கழுத்திலே திரிகைக்கல் கட்டி கடலிலே தள்ளப்படுவது, அவனுக்கு நலமாய் இருக்கும்.

It is better for him if a donkey-powered millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.

3 எனவே, நீங்கள் கவனமாய் இருங்கள். “உன் சகோதரனோ அல்லது சகோதரியோ பாவம்செய்தால் அவர்களைக் கடிந்துகொள். அவர்கள் மனந்திரும்பினால், அவர்களை மன்னித்து விடு.

Take heed to yourselves. And if thy brother should sin against thee, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.

4 அவர்கள் ஒரே நாளில், ஏழுமுறை உனக்கு எதிராகப் பாவம் செய்தாலும், அந்த ஏழுமுறையும் அவர்கள் உன்னிடம் வந்து, ‘நான் மனந்திரும்பி விட்டேன்’ என்றால், நீ அவர்களை மன்னிக்க வேண்டும்” என்றார்.

And if he should sin against thee seven times in the day, and seven times in the day turn back, saying, I repent, thou will forgive him.

5 அப்போஸ்தலர் கர்த்தரிடம், “எங்கள் விசுவாசத்தை அதிகரிக்கப்பண்ணும்!” என்றார்கள்.

And the apostles said to the Lord, Increase faith for us.

6 அதற்கு இயேசு, “கடுகுவிதையளவு விசுவாசம் உங்களுக்கு இருந்தால், நீங்கள் இந்த காட்டத்தி மரத்தைப்பார்த்து, ‘நீ வேரோடே பிடுங்குண்டு, கடலிலே நடப்படுவாயாக’ என்று சொன்னால், அது உங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியும்.

And the Lord said, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard plant, ye would say to this sycamine tree, Be thou uprooted and be planted in the sea, and it would have obeyed you.

7 “உங்களுக்கு ஒரு வேலைக்காரன் இருந்தால், அவன் வயலை உழுது அல்லது ஆடுகளை மேய்த்து திரும்பி வரும்போது, எஜமான் வேலைக்காரனிடம், ‘இங்கு, வந்து உட்கார்ந்து சாப்பிடு’ என்று சொல்லுவானா?

But which of you having a bondman plowing or feeding livestock, who, when he comes in from the field, will straightaway say, After coming near, sit down?

8 மாறாக அவனிடம், ‘எனது சாப்பாட்டைத் தயாராக்கி, நீயும் ஆயத்தமாகி நான் சாப்பிட்டு குடித்து முடிக்கும்வரை, எனக்குப் பணிசெய்; அதற்குப் பின்பு, நீ சாப்பிடலாம்’ என்று சொல்லுவான் அல்லவா?

Will he not rather say to him, Prepare what I may dine, and having gird thyself, serve me until I eat and drink, and after these things thou will eat and drink?

9 கட்டளையிட்டதைச் செய்ததற்காக, அந்த வேலைக்காரனுக்கு அவன் நன்றி செலுத்துவானா?

Does he have a favor for that bondman because he did the things that were commanded? I think not.

10 எனவே நீங்களும், உங்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டதையெல்லாம் செய்துமுடித்த பின்பு, ‘நாங்கள் தகுதியற்ற வேலைக்காரர்; நாங்கள் எங்களுடைய கடமையை மட்டுமே செய்தோம்’ என்று சொல்லுங்கள்” என்றார்.

Thus ye also, when ye did all the things that were commanded you, say, We are unprofitable bondmen, because we have done what we are obligated to do.

11 இயேசு எருசலேமுக்குப் போகும்போது, சமாரியா மற்றும் கலிலேயா பகுதிகள் இடையே இருக்கும், எல்லை கிராமங்கள் வழியாகப் பயணம் செய்தார்.

And it came to pass as he went to Jerusalem, that he was passing through the middle of Samaria and Galilee.

12 அவர் ஒரு கிராமத்திற்கு வந்தபோது, குஷ்ட வியாதியுடைய பத்துப்பேர் அவருக்கு எதிர்ப்பட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் தூரத்தில் நின்று கொண்டே,

And as he entered into a certain village, ten leprous men who stood from afar met him.

13 “ஐயா, இயேசுவே, எங்களுக்கு இரக்கம் காட்டும்!” என்று சத்தமிட்டுக் கூப்பிட்டார்கள்.

And they raised a voice, saying, Jesus, Master, be merciful to us.

14 இயேசு அவர்களைக் கண்டபோது, “நீங்கள் போய் ஆசாரியர்களிடம் உங்களைக் காண்பியுங்கள்” என்றார். அப்படியே அவர்கள் போகும்போதே, சுகமடைந்தார்கள்.

And when he saw them, he said to them, After departing, display yourselves to the priests. And it came to pass, during their going they were cleansed.

15 அவர்களில் ஒருவன் தான் சுகமடைந்ததைக் கண்டபோது, உரத்த சத்தமாய் இறைவனைத் துதித்துக்கொண்டு திரும்பிவந்தான்.

And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back with a great voice glorifying God.

16 அவன் இயேசுவின் பாதத்தில் விழுந்து, அவருக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தினான். அவனோ ஒரு சமாரியனாயிருந்தான்.

And he fell upon his face beside his feet giving him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.

17 அப்பொழுது இயேசு, “பத்துப்பேரும் சுகமடைந்தார்கள் அல்லவா? மற்ற ஒன்பது பேர் எங்கே?

And having answered, Jesus said, Were not the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?

18 இந்த வெளிநாட்டானைத் தவிர, இறைவனுக்குத் துதி செலுத்துவதற்கு வேறு யாரும் திரும்பிவரக் காணோமே?” என்று கேட்டார்.

Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this foreigner?

19 பின்பு இயேசு அவனிடம், “நீ எழுந்து போ; உன் விசுவாசம் உன்னைச் சுகப்படுத்தியது” என்று சொன்னார்.

And he said to him, After rising, go. Thy faith has healed thee.

20 ஒரு நாள், இறைவனின் அரசு எப்போது வருமென்று, பரிசேயர் இயேசுவைக் கேட்டார்கள். அதற்கு இயேசு, “இறைவனின் அரசு, நீங்கள் கவனமாய் எதிர்பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும்போது வருவதில்லை.

And questioned by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God comes, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation,

21 ‘இதோ இங்கே வந்துவிட்டது!’ என்றும், ‘அதோ அங்கே வந்துவிட்டது’ என்றும், மக்களால் சொல்லவும் முடியாது. ஏனெனில், இறைவனின் அரசு உங்கள் மத்தியிலே இருக்கிறது” என்றார்.

nor will they say, Lo, here! or, Lo, there! For behold, the kingdom of God is inside of you.

22 பின்பு அவர் சீடர்களிடம், “மானிடமகனாகிய என்னுடைய நாட்களில் ஒன்றையாவது காண்பதற்கு நீங்கள் ஆவல்கொள்ளும் காலம் வரும். ஆனாலும், நீங்கள் அதைக் காணமாட்டீர்கள்.

And he said to the disciples, The days will come when ye will long to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye will not see it.

23 ‘அங்கே அவர் இருக்கிறார்’ என்றும் ‘இங்கே அவர் இருக்கிறார்’ என்றும் சிலர் சொல்வார்கள். நீங்களோ அவர்கள் பின்னால் ஓட வேண்டாம்.

And they will say to you, Lo, here! Lo, there! Do not depart, nor pursue.

24 வானத்தின் ஒரு முனையிலிருந்து, மறுமுனைவரை பிரகாசித்து மின்னும் மின்னலைப்போல் மானிடமகனாகிய நான் என்னுடைய நாளில் காணப்படுவேன்.

For just as the lightning, its flashing from under the sky to under the sky, illuminates, so will the Son of man be in his day.

25 ஆனால் முதலாவது, நான் பல வேதனைகளை அனுபவித்து, இந்தத் தலைமுறையினரால் புறக்கணிக்கப்பட வேண்டியதாயிருக்கிறது.

But first it is necessary for him to suffer many things and be rejected from this generation.

26 “நோவாவின் நாட்களில் இருந்ததுபோலவே, மானிடமகனாகிய எனது நாட்களிலும் இருக்கும்.

And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so also it will be in the days of the Son of man.

27 நோவா பேழைக்குள் போகும்வரைக்கும், மக்கள் சாப்பிட்டுக்கொண்டும் குடித்துக்கொண்டும், திருமணம் செய்துகொண்டும், திருமணம் செய்துகொடுத்துக்கொண்டும் இருந்தார்கள். அப்போது, வெள்ளம் வந்து மக்கள் எல்லோரையும் அழித்துப்போட்டது.

They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

28 “லோத்தின் நாட்களிலும் அப்படித்தான் நடந்தது. அந்த மக்களும் சாப்பிட்டு, குடித்து, வாங்கி, விற்று, பயிரிட்டுக்கொண்டும், கட்டிக்கொண்டும் இருந்தார்கள்.

And likewise as it happened in the days of Lot. They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built.

29 ஆனால், லோத்து சோதோமை விட்டுப் புறப்பட்ட நாளிலே, நெருப்பும் கந்தகமும் வானத்திலிருந்து மழையாகப் பெய்து, அவர்கள் எல்லோரையும் அழித்துப்போட்டது.

But in that day Lot went out from Sodom he rained fire and brimstone from the sky, and destroyed them all.

30 “மானிடமகனாகிய நான் வெளிப்படும் நாளிலும், இதைப்போலவே இருக்கும்.

It will be according to these things in that day the Son of man is revealed.

31 அந்த நாளிலே, தமது வீட்டின்மேல் இருப்பவர்கள், தமது வீட்டிலுள்ள பொருட்களை எடுக்கும்படி, கீழே இறங்கிப் போகக்கூடாது. அப்படியே வயலில் இருக்கிறவர்கள், எதற்காகவும் திரும்பிப் போகக்கூடாது.

In that day, he who will be on the housetop, and his vessels in the house, let him not go down to take them up. And let him who is in the field likewise not return for the things behind.

32 லோத்தின் மனைவியை நினைவுபடுத்திக் கொள்ளுங்கள்.

Remember Lot's wife.

33 தம் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ள முயற்சிக்கிறவர்கள் எவர்களோ, அவர்கள் அதை இழந்துபோவார்கள். தம் வாழ்வை இழக்கிறவர்கள் எவர்களோ, அவர்கள் அதைக் காத்துக்கொள்வார்கள்.

Whoever will seek to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose it will keep it alive.

34 நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன், அந்த இரவிலே இரண்டுபேர் ஒரு படுக்கையில் படுத்திருப்பார்கள்; ஒருவன் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படுவான், மற்றவன் விட்டுவிடப்படுவான்.

I say to you, in that night there will be two in one bed. The one man will be taken, and the other man will be left.

35 இரண்டு பெண்கள் ஒன்றாகத் தானியம் அரைத்துக் கொண்டிருப்பார்கள்; ஒருத்தி எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படுவாள், மற்றவள் விட்டுவிடப்படுவாள்.

Two will be grinding together. The one woman will be taken, and the other woman will be left.

36 இரண்டுபேர் வயலில் இருப்பார்கள்; ஒருவன் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படுவான், மற்றவன் விட்டுவிடப்படுவான்.” என்றார்.

This verse is not in the majority of the Greek manuscripts.

37 அதற்கு சீடர்கள், “எங்கே ஆண்டவரே?” என்றார்கள். இயேசு அதற்குப் பதிலாக, “பிணம் எங்கே கிடக்கிறதோ, அங்கே கழுகுகள் ஒன்றுகூடும்” என்றார்.

And having answered, they say to him, Where, Lord? And he said to them, Where the body is, there the vultures will be gathered together.
