லூக்கா 13
1 அப்பொழுது அங்கிருந்தவர்களில் சிலர் இயேசுவிடம், கலிலேயர் சிலரைப் பிலாத்து கொலைசெய்து, அவர்களுடைய இரத்தத்தை அவர்கள் செலுத்திய பலிகளுடனே கலந்துவிட்ட செயலைப் பற்றிச் சொன்னார்கள்.
And there were some present at that time, telling Him about the Galileans, whose blood Pilate mingled with their sacrifices;
2 அதற்குப் பதிலாக இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “அந்த கலிலேயருக்கு இவை நேர்ந்ததால், அவர்கள் மற்றெல்லா கலிலேயரைப் பார்க்கிலும் மோசமான பாவிகளாய் இருந்தார்கள் என்று நீங்கள் எண்ணுகிறீர்களா?
and Jesus answering said to them, “Do you think that these Galileans became sinners beyond all the Galileans, because they have suffered such things?
3 இல்லை! நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன், மனமாறாவிட்டால் நீங்கள் எல்லோரும்கூட அழிந்தே போவீர்கள்.
No—I say to you, but if you may not convert, even so will all you perish.
4 சீலோவாமில் இருந்த கோபுரம் விழுந்தபோது, அதில் பதினெட்டுப்பேர் அகப்பட்டு இறந்தார்களே. எருசலேமில் வாழ்கிற மற்றெல்லோரையும்விட, அவர்கள் அதிக குற்றவாளிகள் என்று நீங்கள் எண்ணுகிறீர்களா?
Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell, and killed them, do you think that these became debtors beyond all men who are dwelling in Jerusalem?
5 இல்லை! நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன், மனமாறாவிட்டால் நீங்கள் எல்லோரும்கூட அழிந்துபோவீர்கள்” என்றார்.
No—I say to you, but if you may not convert, all you will perish in like manner.”
6 அதற்குப் பின்பு இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு இந்த உவமையையும் சொன்னார்: “ஒரு மனிதன் தனது திராட்சைத் தோட்டத்தில் ஒரு அத்திமரத்தை நட்டு வைத்திருந்தான். அவன் அதிலே பழத்தைத் தேடிப் போனபோது, அதில் பழம் எதுவும் காணப்படவில்லை.
And He spoke this allegory: “A certain one had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit in it, and he did not find;
7 எனவே அவன், அந்தத் திராட்சைத் தோட்டக்காரனிடம், ‘நான் இந்த அத்திமரத்தில் பழங்களைத் தேடி மூன்று வருடங்களாக வந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். ஆனால், பழம் எதையுமே நான் காணவில்லை. இந்த மரத்தை வெட்டிப்போடு. ஏன் இந்த மரம் நிலத்தை வீணாக்க வேண்டும்?’ என்றான்.
and he said to the vinedresser, Behold, three years I come seeking fruit in this fig tree, and do not find [it], cut it off, why does it also render the ground useless?
8 “அதற்கு தோட்டக்காரன், ‘ஐயா, இன்னொரு வருடத்திற்கு அதைவிட்டுவையும். நான் அதைச் சுற்றிலும் கொத்தி எருபோடுவேன்.
And he answering says to him, Lord, permit it also this year, until I may dig around it, and cast in dung;
9 அடுத்த வருடம் பழம் கொடுத்தால் நல்லது, இல்லாவிட்டால் நீர் அதை வெட்டிப்போடும்’ என்றான்.”
and if indeed it may bear fruit—and if not so, thereafter you will cut it off.”
10 ஒரு ஓய்வுநாளிலே, இயேசு ஜெப ஆலயத்தில் போதித்துக் கொண்டிருந்தார்.
And He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath,
11 அங்கே பதினெட்டு வருடமாய் பலவீனப்படுத்தும் ஒரு தீய ஆவியினால் பிடிக்கப்பட்டு, கூனியான ஒரு பெண் இருந்தாள். அவள் முற்றுமாய் நிமிரமுடியாத அளவுக்குக் கூனிப்போய் இருந்தாள்.
and behold, there was a woman having a spirit of disability [for] eighteen years, and she was bent together, and not able to bend back at all,
12 இயேசு அவளைக் கண்டபோது, அவளை முன்னே வரும்படி கூப்பிட்டு, “மகளே, உன் பலவீனத்திலிருந்து நீ விடுதலையாக்கப்பட்டாய்” என்றார்.
and Jesus having seen her, called [her] near and said to her, “Woman, you have been loosed from your disability”;
13 பின்பு அவர், அவள்மேல் தன் கையை வைத்தார். உடனே அவள் நிமிர்ந்து நின்று இறைவனைத் துதித்தாள்.
and He laid on her [His] hands, and immediately she was set upright, and was glorifying God.
14 ஓய்வுநாளில் இயேசு குணமாக்கியபடியால், அங்கிருந்த ஜெப ஆலயத் தலைவன் கடும் கோபமடைந்து அங்கிருந்த மக்களிடம், “வேலைசெய்வதற்கு ஆறுநாட்கள் இருக்கிறதே. அந்த நாட்களிலே வந்து குணமடையுங்கள். ஓய்வுநாளில் அப்படிச் செய்யவேண்டாம்” என்றான்.
And the chief of the synagogue answering—much displeased that on the Sabbath Jesus healed—said to the multitude, “Six days there are in which it is necessary to be working; in these, then, coming, be healed, and not on the day of the Sabbath.”
15 அதற்குக் கர்த்தர் அவனிடம், “வேஷக்காரர்களே! நீங்கள் ஒவ்வொருவரும் ஓய்வுநாளிலே, அவனவன் தன் எருதையோ கழுதையையோ தொழுவத்திலிருந்து அவிழ்த்து, தண்ணீர் குடிப்பதற்குக் கொண்டு போவதில்லையா?
Then the LORD answered him and said, “Hypocrite, do not each of you loose his ox or donkey from the stall on the Sabbath, and having led [it] away, water [it]?
16 ஆபிரகாமின் மகளான இந்தப் பெண்ணை சாத்தான் பதினெட்டு வருடங்களாய் நீண்ட காலத்திற்குக் கட்டி வைத்திருக்கிறானே. எனவே அவள் ஓய்வுநாளிலே அவளுடைய கட்டிலிருந்து விடுதலை பெறக் கூடாதோ?” என்றார்.
And this one, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan bound eighteen years, behold, did [she] not ought to be loosed from this bond on the day of the Sabbath?”
17 இயேசு இதைச் சொன்னபோது, அவருடைய எதிரிகள் எல்லோரும் வெட்கமடைந்தார்கள். ஆனால் மக்களோ, அவர் செய்த அதிசயமான காரியங்களைப் பார்த்து மகிழ்ச்சி அடைந்தார்கள்.
And He saying these things, all who were opposed to Him were being ashamed, and all the multitude were rejoicing over all the glorious things that are being done by Him.
18 பின்பு இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “இறைவனுடைய அரசு எதைப்போல் இருக்கிறது? அதை நான் எதற்கு ஒப்பிடுவேன்?
And He said, “To what is the Kingdom of God like? And to what will I liken it?
19 இறைவனுடைய அரசு ஒருவன் தனது தோட்டத்தில் நட்ட ஒரு கடுகுவிதையைப் போன்றது. அது வளர்ந்து ஒரு மரமாகியது. ஆகாயத்துப் பறவைகள் அதன் கிளைகளில் வந்து தங்கின” என்றார்.
It is like to a grain of mustard, which a man having taken, cast into his garden, and it increased, and came to a great tree, and the birds of the heavens rested in its branches.”
20 மேலும் அவர், “இறைவனுடைய அரசை நான் எதற்கு ஒப்பிடுவேன்?
And again He said, “To what will I liken the Kingdom of God?
21 ஒரு பெண் ஏறக்குறைய இருபத்து ஏழு கிலோ மாவிலே சிறிதளவு புளித்தமாவைக் கலந்து, அது முழுவதும் புளிக்கும்வரை வைத்ததற்கு ஒப்பாயிருக்கிறது” என்றார்.
It is like leaven, which a woman, having taken, hid in three measures of meal, until all was leavened.”
22 பின்பு இயேசு தாம் எருசலேமுக்குப் போகும் வழியிலே உள்ள பட்டணங்களிலும், கிராமங்களிலும் உபதேசித்துக்கொண்டே சென்றார்.
And He was going through cities and villages, teaching, and making progress toward Jerusalem;
23 அப்பொழுது ஒருவன் அவரிடம், “ஆண்டவரே, ஒரு சிலர் மட்டும்தான் இரட்சிக்கப்படுவார்களோ?” என்று கேட்டான். அதற்கு இயேசு இப்படியாக பதிலளித்தார்:
and a certain one said to Him, “Lord, are those saved few?” And He said to them,
24 “இடுக்கமான வாசல் வழியாக உள்ளே செல்வதற்கு எல்லா முயற்சியும் எடுங்கள். நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன், அநேகர் அதற்குள் செல்ல முயற்சிப்பார்கள். ஆனால் அவர்களால் முடியாதிருக்கும்.
“Be striving to go in through the straight gate, because many, I say to you, will seek to go in, and will not be able;
25 வீட்டுச் சொந்தக்காரன் எழுந்து கதவை மூடியபின், நீங்கள் வெளியே நின்று கதவைத் தட்டி, ‘ஐயா, எங்களுக்குக் கதவைத் திறந்தருளும்’ என்று கெஞ்சுவீர்கள். “ஆனால் அவரோ, ‘உங்களை எனக்குத் தெரியாது. நீங்கள் எங்கேயிருந்து வருகிறீர்கள் என்றும் எனக்குத் தெரியாது’ என்று சொல்வார்.
from the time the Master of the house may have risen up, and may have shut the door, and you may begin to stand outside, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us, and He answering will say to you, I have not known you from where you are,
26 “அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் அவரைப் பார்த்து, ‘நாங்கள் உம்முடன் சாப்பிட்டுக் குடித்தோமே. நீர் எங்களுடைய வீதிகளில் போதித்தீரே’ என்பீர்கள்.
then you may begin to say, We ate before You, and drank, and You taught in our broad places;
27 “ஆனால் உங்களிடம் அவர், ‘உங்களை எனக்குத் தெரியாது. நீங்கள் எங்கிருந்து வருகிறீர்கள் என்றும் எனக்குத் தெரியாது. தீமை செய்கிறவர்களே, நீங்கள் எல்லோரும் என்னைவிட்டு விலகிப்போங்கள்,’ என்று சொல்லுவார்.
and He will say, I say to you, I have not known you from where you are; depart from Me, all you workers of the unrighteousness.
28 “ஆபிரகாம், ஈசாக்கு, யாக்கோபு, எல்லா இறைவாக்கினரும் இறைவனுடைய அரசில் இருப்பதையும், நீங்கள் புறக்கணிக்கப்படுவதையும் காணும்போது, அங்கே அழுகையும் பற்கடிப்பும் உண்டாயிருக்கும்.
There will be there the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth when you may see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the Kingdom of God, and yourselves being cast outside;
29 கிழக்கிலிருந்தும், மேற்கிலிருந்தும், வடக்கிலிருந்தும், தெற்கிலிருந்தும் மக்கள் வந்து, இறைவனுடைய அரசிலே பெரும்விருந்தில் அவர்களுக்குரிய இடங்களில் பங்கு பெறுவார்கள்.
and they will come from east and west, and from north and south, and will recline in the Kingdom of God,
30 உண்மையாகவே, இப்பொழுது கடைசியாய் இருப்பவர்கள் முதலாவதாகவும். முதலாவதாய் இருப்பவர்கள் கடைசியாய் இருப்பார்கள்” என்றார்.
and behold, there are last who will be first, and there are first who will be last.”
31 அவ்வேளையில், சில பரிசேயர் இயேசுவிடம் வந்து அவரிடம், “நீர் இந்த இடத்தைவிட்டு வேறு எங்காவது போய்விடும். ஏரோது உம்மைக் கொலைசெய்ய இருக்கிறான்” என்றார்கள்.
On that day there came near certain Pharisees, saying to Him, “Go forth, and be going on from here, for Herod wishes to kill You”;
32 அதற்கு இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “அந்த நரிக்குப் போய் சொல்லுங்கள், இன்றும் நாளையும் பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்தி, நான் மக்களைச் சுகப்படுத்துவேன். மூன்றாவது நாளிலே, நான் எனது பணியின் நோக்கத்தை செய்து முடிப்பேன்.
and He said to them, “Having gone, say to that fox, Behold, I cast forth demons, and perfect cures today and tomorrow, and the third [day] I am being perfected;
33 ஆனால் இன்றும், நாளையும், அதற்கடுத்த நாளும், என் பணியைத் தொடர்வேன். ஏனெனில், நிச்சயமாகவே இறைவாக்கினன் எவனும் எருசலேமுக்கு வெளியே சாகமுடியாது.
but it is necessary for Me today, and tomorrow, and the [day] following, to go on, because it is not possible for a prophet to perish out of Jerusalem.
34 “எருசலேமே, எருசலேமே, இறைவாக்கினரைக் கொலைசெய்து உன்னிடம் அனுப்பப்பட்டவர்களை கல்லெறிகிற பட்டணமே, ஒரு கோழி தன் குஞ்சுகளைத் தன் சிறகுகளின்கீழ் கூட்டிச் சேர்ப்பதுபோல் எத்தனையோமுறை நானும் உன் பிள்ளைகளைச் சேர்த்துக்கொள்ள ஏக்கமாய் இருந்தேன், உனக்கோ விருப்பமில்லாமல் போயிற்றே.
Jerusalem, Jerusalem, that is killing the prophets, and stoning those sent to her, how often I willed to gather together your children, as a hen [gathers] her brood under the wings, and you did not will.
35 இதோ பார், உன் வீடு உனக்குப் பாழாய் விடப்பட்டிருக்கிறது. நான் உனக்குச் சொல்கிறேன், ‘கர்த்தருடைய பெயரில் வருகிறவர் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்’ என்று நீ சொல்லும்வரைக்கும், இனிமேல் என்னைக் காணமாட்டாய்” என்றார்.
Behold, your house is being left to you desolate, and truly I say to you, you may not see Me, until it may come when you may say, Blessed [is] He who is coming in the Name of the LORD.”
