லூக்கா 12
1 அப்பொழுது ஆயிரக்கணக்கான மக்கள் அங்கு கூடி, ஒருவரையொருவர் நெருக்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். அப்பொழுது இயேசு, முதலாவதாக தமது சீடர்களுடன் பேசிச் சொல்லியதாவது: “பரிசேயரின் வெளிவேஷமாகிய புளித்தமாவைக் குறித்துக் கவனமாயிருங்கள்.
In the mean time, when the many thousands of the multitude were gathered together, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
2 மறைக்கப்பட்டிருப்பது எதுவும் வெளியாக்கப்படாமல் போவதில்லை. ஒளித்து வைக்கப்பட்டது எதுவும் வெளியே தெரியவராமல் போவதுமில்லை.
But there is nothing covered up, that shall not be revealed: and hid, that shall not be known.
3 நீங்கள் இருளிலே சொன்னது, பகல் வெளிச்சத்தில் கேட்கப்படும். நீங்கள் உள் அறைகளிலிருந்து இரகசியமாய் பேசியது, வீட்டின் கூரையின்மேல் அறிவிக்கப்படும்.
Wherefore whatsoever ye have said in the darkness shall be heard in the light; and what ye have spoken in the ear in the inner chambers shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.
4 “என் நண்பர்களே, நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன், உடலைக் கொல்லுகிறவர்களுக்குப் பயப்படவேண்டாம். அதற்குப் பிறகு, அவர்களால் உங்களை ஒன்றுமே செய்யமுடியாது.
And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them which kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
5 ஆனால், நீங்கள் யாருக்குப் பயப்படவேண்டும் என்பதை நான் உங்களுக்குக் காட்டுகிறேன்: உடலைக் கொன்றபின், உங்களை நரகத்தில் தள்ளுவதற்கு வல்லமை உள்ள இறைவனுக்கே பயப்படுங்கள். ஆம், நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன், அவருக்கே பயப்படுங்கள். (Geenna g1067)
But I will warn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. (Geenna g1067)
6 ஐந்து சிட்டுக் குருவிகளை இரண்டு காசுக்கு விற்பதில்லையா? ஆனால், அவற்றில் ஒன்றேனும் இறைவனால் மறக்கப்படுவதில்லை.
Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings? and not one of them is forgotten in the sight of God.
7 உங்கள் தலைமுடியெல்லாம் எண்ணப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன. நீங்கள் பயப்படவேண்டாம்; நீங்கள் அநேக சிட்டுக் குருவிகளைப் பார்க்கிலும் அதிக மதிப்புடையவர்கள்.
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
8 “நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன், மனிதருக்கு முன்பாக என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்கிறவன் எவனோ, அவனை இறைவனுடைய தூதருக்கு முன்பாக மானிடமகனாகிய நான் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வேன்.
And I say unto you, Every one who shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
9 ஆனால், மனிதருக்கு முன்பாக என்னை மறுதலிக்கிறவன் எவனோ, அவன் இறைவனுடைய தூதருக்கு முன்பாக மறுதலிக்கப்படுவான்.
but he that denieth me in the presence of men shall be denied in the presence of the angels of God.
10 யாராவது மானிடமகனாகிய எனக்கு எதிராய்ப் பேசுகிற வார்த்தை, அது அவர்களுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும். ஆனால், பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவருக்கு எதிராக அவரை நிந்தித்துப் பேசினால், அது அவர்களுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்பட மாட்டாது.
And every one who shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Spirit it shall not be forgiven.
11 “நீங்கள் ஜெப ஆலயத்திற்கும், ஆளுநர்களுக்கும், அதிகாரத்தில் உள்ளவர்களுக்கும் முன்பாக கொண்டுவரப்படும்போது, உங்கள் சார்பாக எவ்விதம் வாதாடுவது என்றோ, என்னத்தைச் சொல்வது என்றோ கவலைப்படாதிருங்கள்.
And when they bring you before the synagogues, and the rulers, and the authorities, be not anxious how or what ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
12 ஏனெனில், அந்த வேளையில் என்ன சொல்லவேண்டும் என்பதை, உங்களுக்குப் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரே போதிப்பார்” என்றார்.
for the Holy Spirit shall teach you in that very hour what ye ought to say.
13 கூடியிருந்த மக்களில் ஒருவன் இயேசுவிடம், “போதகரே, எங்கள் உரிமைச்சொத்தை என்னுடன் பிரித்துக்கொடுக்கும்படி, என் சகோதரனுக்குச் சொல்லும்” என்றான்.
And one out of the multitude said unto him, Master, bid my brother divide the inheritance with me.
14 அதற்கு இயேசு அவனிடம், “நண்பனே, உங்களுக்கு இடையில் என்னை நீதிபதியாகவும், நடுவராகவும் நியமித்தது யார்?” என்று கேட்டார்.
But he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?
15 பின்பு இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “எச்சரிக்கையாயிருங்கள்! எல்லா விதமான பேராசைகளைக் குறித்தும் கவனமாய் இருங்கள்; ஒரு மனிதனின் வாழ்க்கை, அவனிடம் இருக்கும் உடைமைகளின் நிறைவில் தங்கியிருப்பதில்லை” என்றார்.
And he said unto them, Take heed, and keep yourselves from all covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
16 மேலும் அவர், அவர்களுக்கு இந்த கதையைச் சொன்னார்: “ஒரு செல்வந்தனுக்குச் சொந்தமான நிலம் நல்ல விளைச்சலைக் கொடுத்தது.
And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
17 அவன், ‘நான் என்ன செய்வேன்? விளைந்த தானியத்தை பத்திரப்படுத்த இடம் போதாதே’ என்று தனக்குள்ளே நினைத்துக் கொண்டான்.
and he reasoned within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have not where to bestow my fruits?
18 “பின்பு அவன், ‘நான் ஒன்றுசெய்வேன்; என்னுடைய களஞ்சியங்களை இடித்து, அவற்றைப் பெரிதாகக் கட்டுவேன். அங்கே என்னுடைய எல்லாத் தானியங்களையும், பொருட்களையும் சேமித்து வைத்து.
And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my corn and my goods.
19 பின்பு நான், என் ஆத்துமாவிடம், உனக்கென்று பல வருடங்களுக்குப் போதுமான நல்ல பொருட்கள் வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன. நீ வாழ்வை அனுபவி; சாப்பிட்டு, குடித்து மகிழ்ந்திரு என்று சொல்வேன்’ என்றான்.
And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, be merry.
20 “அப்பொழுது இறைவன் அவனிடம், ‘மூடனே! இந்த இரவிலேயே உன் உயிர் உன்னிடமிருந்து எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படும். அப்பொழுது, நீ உனக்கென்று சேமித்து வைத்தவைகள் யாருக்கு சொந்தமாகும்?’ என்று கேட்டார்.
But God said unto him, Thou foolish one, this night is thy soul required of thee; and the things which thou hast prepared, whose shall they be?
21 “தனக்கென்று பொருட்களைக் குவித்து வைத்தும், இறைவனில் செல்வந்தனாய் இராதவனின் நிலைமை இவ்விதமாகவே இருக்கிறது” என்றார்.
So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
22 பின்பு இயேசு தமது சீடர்களிடம் சொன்னதாவது: “ஆதலால் நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன், எதைச் சாப்பிடுவோம் என்று உங்கள் வாழ்வைக்குறித்தும் அல்லது எதை உடுப்போம் என உங்கள் உடலைக்குறித்தும் கவலைப்பட வேண்டாம். ஏனெனில் உங்கள் உயிர் உணவைவிடவும், உங்கள் உடல் உடையைவிடவும் முக்கியமானது.
And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Be not anxious for [your] life, what ye shall eat; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on.
23 ஏனெனில், வாழ்க்கை உண்பதிலும், உடுத்துவதிலும் மட்டுமல்ல; அதிலும் மேலான காரியங்களைக் கொண்டுள்ளது.
For the life is more than the food, and the body than the raiment.
24 காகங்களைக் கவனித்துப் பாருங்கள்: அவை விதைக்கிறதுமில்லை, அறுவடை செய்கிறதுமில்லை. அவற்றிற்கு களஞ்சிய அறையோ, பண்டகசாலையோ இல்லை; ஆனால், இறைவன் அவற்றிற்கு உணவு கொடுக்கிறார். பறவைகளைப் பார்க்கிலும் நீங்கள் எவ்வளவோ மதிப்பு வாய்ந்தவர்களாய் இருக்கிறீர்களே!
Consider the ravens, that they sow not, neither reap; which have no store-chamber nor barn; and God feedeth them: of how much more value are ye than the birds!
25 கவலைப்படுவதால், உங்களில் யார் தன் வாழ்நாளில் ஒருமணி நேரத்தைக் கூட்டுவான்?
And which of you by being anxious can add a cubit unto his stature?
26 இல்லையே! இந்தச் சிறிய காரியத்தையே உங்களால் செய்யமுடியாதிருக்கிறதே. அப்படியிருக்க, பெருங்காரியங்களைக் குறித்து நீங்கள் ஏன் கவலைப்படுகிறீர்கள்?
If then ye are not able to do even that which is least, why are ye anxious concerning the rest?
27 “காட்டு மலர்கள் எப்படி வளர்கின்றன என்று கவனித்துப் பாருங்கள். அவை உழைப்பதுமில்லை, நூல் நூற்கிறதுமில்லை; ஆனால் நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன், சாலொமோன் எல்லாச் சிறப்புடையவனாய் இருந்துங்கூட, இவைகளில் ஒன்றைப்போல் உடை உடுத்தியதில்லை.
Consider the lilies, how they grow: they toil not, neither do they spin; yet I say unto you, Even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
28 விசுவாசக் குறைவுள்ளவர்களே! இன்றைக்கு இருந்து நாளைக்கு நெருப்பிலே எறியப்படுகிற காட்டுப் புல்லுக்கே, இறைவன் இவ்வாறு உடுத்துவாரானால், உங்கள் பிதா உங்களுக்கு எவ்வளவு அதிகமாய் அவர் உங்களுக்கு உடுத்துவிப்பார்.
But if God doth so clothe the grass in the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more [shall he clothe] you, O ye of little faith?
29 விசுவாசம் குறைந்தவர்களே, என்னத்தை உண்போம், என்னத்தைக் குடிப்போம்; என்று அவைகளிலேயே உங்கள் மனதைச் செலுத்தி, அவற்றைக்குறித்து கவலைப்படாதிருங்கள்.
And seek not ye what ye shall eat, and what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind.
30 ஏனெனில், இறைவனை அறியாதவர்கள் இவைகளையே தேடி ஓடுகிறார்கள். ஆனால் உங்கள் பிதாவோ, இவை எல்லாம் உங்களுக்குத் தேவை என அறிந்திருக்கிறார்.
For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: but your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
31 எனவே முதலாவதாக இறைவனுடைய அரசைத் தேடுங்கள், அப்பொழுது இவைகளெல்லாம் உங்களுக்குகூடக் கொடுக்கப்படும்.
Howbeit seek ye his kingdom, and these things shall be added unto you.
32 “சிறு மந்தையே, பயப்படாதே. ஏனெனில், உங்கள் பிதா தமது அரசை உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப் பிரியமாய் திட்டமிட்டிருக்கிறார்.
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
33 உங்கள் உடைமைகளை விற்று, ஏழைகளுக்குக் கொடுங்கள். இவ்விதமாய் பழையதாய்ப் போகாத பணப்பைகளையும் உங்களுக்கென உண்டாக்கிக்கொள்ளுங்கள். குறையாத செல்வத்தையும் பரலோகத்தில் உங்களுக்கென ஏற்படுத்திக்கொள்ளுங்கள். அங்கே திருடர் நெருங்கி வருவதுமில்லை, பூச்சிகள் அவற்றை அழிப்பதுமில்லை.
Sell that ye have, and give alms; make for yourselves purses which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief draweth near, neither moth destroyeth.
34 ஏனெனில், உங்கள் செல்வம் எங்கே இருக்கிறதோ, அங்குதான் உங்கள் இருதயமும் இருக்கும்.
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
35 “பணிசெய்வதற்கு ஆயத்தமாய், உங்கள் உடைகளை உடுத்திக்கொள்ளுங்கள். எரிந்து கொண்டிருக்கும்படி, உங்கள் விளக்குகளை ஏற்றி வையுங்கள்.
Let your loins be girded about, and your lamps burning;
36 திருமண விருந்திலிருந்து திரும்பிவரும் தங்கள் எஜமானுக்காகக் காத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கும் வேலைகாரர்களைப் போலிருங்கள். அப்படியிருந்தால்தான், எஜமான் வந்து கதவைத் தட்டும்போது, உடனே அவர்கள் கதவை அவனுக்காகத் திறக்க முடியும்.
and be ye yourselves like unto men looking for their lord, when he shall return from the marriage feast; that, when he cometh and knocketh, they may straightway open unto him.
37 எஜமான் வரும்போது, அவனுடைய வேலைக்காரர் விழிப்பாயிருப்பதை அவன் கண்டால், அது அவர்களுக்கு நல்லது. நான் உங்களுக்கு உண்மையைச் சொல்கிறேன், எஜமான் உடையை உடுத்திக்கொண்டு, தன் வேலைக்காரர்களைச் சாப்பாட்டுப் பந்தியில் உட்காரச்செய்து, தானே வந்து அவர்களுக்குப் பணிசெய்வான்.
Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them sit down to meat, and shall come and serve them.
38 அந்த எஜமான் இரவு ஒன்பது மணிக்கு அல்லது நள்ளிரவு வந்தாலும், அவனுடைய வேலையாட்கள் ஆயத்தமாயிருப்பதை அவன் காண்பானானால், அது அவர்களுக்கு நல்லது.
And if he shall come in the second watch, and if in the third, and find [them] so, blessed are those [servants].
39 இதை விளங்கிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்: திருடன் எத்தனை மணிக்கு வருவான் என்று வீட்டின் சொந்தக்காரன் அறிந்திருந்தால், தன் வீட்டை திருடன் உடைத்து நுழையாதபடி பார்த்துக்கொள்வானே.
But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched, and not have left his house to be broken through.
40 நீங்களும் ஆயத்தமாயிருக்க வேண்டும். ஏனெனில் மானிடமகனாகிய நான் நீங்கள் எதிர்பாராத நேரத்திலே வருவேன்” என்றார்.
Be ye also ready: for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.
41 அப்பொழுது பேதுரு அவரிடம், “ஆண்டவரே, இந்த உவமையை எங்களுக்குத் தான் சொல்கிறீரோ? அல்லது எல்லோருக்கும் சொல்கிறீரோ?” என்று கேட்டான்.
And Peter said, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even unto all?
42 கர்த்தர் அதற்கு மறுமொழியாக, “உண்மையும் ஞானமும் உள்ள நிர்வாகி யார்? அந்த எஜமான், அவனையே தன்னுடைய வேலைக்காரருக்கு ஏற்றவேளையில் உணவைப் பகிர்ந்து கொடுக்கும்படி, அவர்களுக்கு மேலாக வைப்பான்.
And the Lord said, Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall set over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?
43 தனது எஜமான் திரும்பி வரும்போது, அவ்வாறே செய்கிறவனாகக் காணப்படுகிற வேலைக்காரன் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவன்.
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
44 நான் உங்களுக்கு உண்மையைச் சொல்கிறேன், அந்த எஜமான் இந்த நிர்வாகியைத் தனது உடைமைகள் எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் பொறுப்பாக வைப்பான்.
Of a truth I say unto you, that he will set him over all that he hath.
45 ஆனால் அந்த நிர்வாகி, ‘என் எஜமான் வருவதற்கு நீண்டகாலம் ஆகிறதே’ என்று தனக்குள்ளே சொல்லிக்கொண்டு, தன் பொறுப்பிலுள்ள வேலைக்காரர்களையும் வேலைக்காரிகளையும் அடிக்கவும், சாப்பிட்டு, குடித்து, வெறிகொள்ளவும் தொடங்கினால்,
But if that servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and the maidservants, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
46 அந்த வேலைக்காரனின் எஜமான் அவன் எதிர்பாராத ஒரு நாளிலும், அவன் அறிந்திராத வேளையிலும் வருவான். எஜமான் வந்து அவனைப் பயங்கரமான தண்டனைக்குள்ளாக்கி, உண்மையற்றவர்களுக்குரிய இடத்திலே அவனைத் தள்ளிவிடுவான்.
the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he expecteth not, and in an hour when he knoweth not, and shall cut him asunder, and appoint his portion with the unfaithful.
47 “வேலைக்காரன் தனது எஜமானின் விருப்பத்தை அறிந்திருந்தும், ஆயத்தமாகாமலும், தனது எஜமான் விரும்புவதை செய்யாமலும் இருந்தால், அவன் அநேக அடிகள் அடிக்கப்படுவான்.
And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and made not ready, nor did according to his will, shall be beaten with many [stripes];
48 ஆனால் எஜமானின் விருப்பத்தை அறியாதவனாய், தண்டனைக்குரிய காரியங்களைச் செய்கிறவனோ, சில அடிகளே அடிக்கப்படுவான். அதிகமாய் கொடுக்கப்பட்ட ஒவ்வொருவரிடத்திலிருந்தும் அதிகமாய்க் கேட்கப்படும்; அப்படியே அதிகம் கொடுக்கப்பட்டவனிடமிருந்து, இன்னும் அதிகமாய் கேட்கப்படும்.
but he that knew not, and did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few [stripes]. And to whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required: and to whom they commit much, of him will they ask the more.
49 “பூமியிலே நெருப்பைப்போட வந்தேன். அது இப்பொழுதே எரியத் தொடங்கியிருக்க வேண்டும் என்றே நான் விரும்புகிறேன்.
I came to cast fire upon the earth; and what will I, if it is already kindled?
50 ஆனால், நான் கட்டாயமாக பெறவேண்டிய திருமுழுக்கு ஒன்று இருக்கிறது. அது நிறைவேறும்வரை, நான் எவ்வளவு மனக்கஷ்டத்திற்கு உள்ளாகியிருக்கிறேன்.
But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!
51 பூமியில் சமாதானத்தைக் கொண்டுவருவதற்காக நான் வந்தேன் என்று நீங்கள் எண்ணுகிறீர்களோ? இல்லை, நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன், பிரிவினையை கொண்டுவரவே வந்தேன்.
Think ye that I am come to give peace in the earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
52 இப்போதிருந்தே, ஐந்து பேருள்ள ஒரு குடும்பத்திலே, ஒருவருக்கு எதிராய் ஒருவர் பிரிந்திருப்பார்கள். மூன்றுபேர் இரண்டு பேருக்கு எதிராகவும், இரண்டுபேர் மூன்றுபேருக்கு எதிராகவும் பிரிந்திருப்பார்கள்.
for there shall be from henceforth five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.
53 தகப்பனுக்கு எதிராக மகனும், மகனுக்கு எதிராக தகப்பனும், தாய்க்கு எதிராக மகளும், மகளுக்கு எதிராகத் தாயும், மருமகளுக்கு எதிராக மாமியாரும், மாமியாருக்கு எதிராக மருமகளும் பிரிந்திருப்பார்கள்” என்றார்.
They shall be divided, father against son, and son against father; mother against daughter, and daughter against her mother; mother in law against her daughter in law, and daughter in law against her mother in law.
54 மேலும் இயேசு கூடியிருந்த மக்களிடம் சொன்னதாவது: “மேற்கிலிருந்து ஒரு மேகம் எழும்புகிறதை நீங்கள் காணும்போது, நீங்கள் உடனே, ‘இதோ மழை பெய்யப் போகிறது’ என்கிறீர்கள், அப்படியே மழையும் பெய்கிறது.
And he said to the multitudes also, When ye see a cloud rising in the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it cometh to pass.
55 தென்காற்று வீசும்போது, ‘இதோ வெப்ப காலம் வரப்போகிறது’ என்கிறீர்கள். அப்படியே அது வெப்பமாய் இருக்கிறது.
And when [ye see] a south wind blowing, ye say, There will be a scorching heat; and it cometh to pass.
56 வேஷக்காரர்களே! பூமியின் தோற்றத்திற்கும், ஆகாயத்தின் தோற்றத்திற்கும் விளக்கம் அளிக்க அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்களே. ஆனால் தற்போதுள்ள இந்த காலத்தையோ, நீங்கள் அறியாமல் இருப்பது எப்படி?
Ye hypocrites, ye know how to interpret the face of the earth and the heaven; but how is it that ye know not how to interpret this time?
57 “சரியானது எது என்று உங்களையே நீங்கள் நிதானிக்காமல் இருக்கிறீர்களே, ஏன்?
And why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?
58 நீங்கள் உங்களது பகைவருடன் நீதிபதியிடம் போகும்போது, வழியிலேயே உங்கள் வழக்கைத் தீர்த்துக்கொள்ள முயற்சிசெய்; இல்லையெனில் அவன் உங்களை நீதிபதிக்கு முன்பாக இழுத்துச் செல்லக்கூடும். நீதிபதி உங்களை அதிகாரியிடம் ஒப்படைக்க, அதிகாரி உங்களைச் சிறையிலே போடக்கூடும்.
For as thou art going with thine adversary before the magistrate, on the way give diligence to be quit of him; lest haply he hale thee unto the judge, and the judge shall deliver thee to the officer, and the officer shall cast thee into prison.
59 உங்களிடத்திலிருக்கும் கடைசிக் காசையும் செலுத்தித் தீர்க்கும்வரை நீங்கள் வெளியே வரமாட்டீர்கள் என்று நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்.”
I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou have paid the very last mite.
