யோபு 39

1 “மலை ஆடுகள் குட்டி ஈனும் காலத்தை நீ அறிவாயோ? பெண்மான் குட்டி ஈன்றதை நீ கண்டிருக்கிறாயோ?

Whethir thou knowist the tyme of birthe of wielde geet in stoonys, ethir hast thou aspied hyndis bryngynge forth calues?

2 அவை சினைப்பட்டிருக்கும் மாதங்களை நீ கணக்கிடுவாயோ? அவை குட்டி ஈனும் நேரத்தை நீ அறிவாயோ?

Hast thou noumbrid the monethis of her conseyuyng, and hast thou knowe the tyme of her caluyng?

3 அவை முடங்கிக்கிடந்து தங்கள் குட்டிகளை ஈனும்; குட்டி ஈன்றதும் அவைகளின் வலி நீங்கிவிடும்.

Tho ben bowid to the calf, and caluen; and senden out roryngis.

4 அவைகளின் குட்டிகள் காடுகளில் பெலனடைந்து வளர்கின்றன, அவை திரும்பவும் தாயிடம் திரும்பி வருவதில்லை.

Her calues ben departid, and goen to pasture; tho goen out, and turnen not ayen to `tho hyndis.

5 “காட்டுக் கழுதையைச் சுதந்திரமாகத் திரியவிட்டவர் யார்? அதின் கட்டுகளை அவிழ்த்தவர் யார்?

Who let go the wielde asse fre, and who loside the boondis of hym?

6 நானே அதற்குப் பாழ்நிலத்தை வீடாகவும், உவர்நிலத்தைக் குடியிருப்பாகவும் கொடுத்தேன்.

To whom Y haue youe an hows in wildirnesse, and the tabernacles of hym in the lond of saltnesse.

7 அது பட்டணத்துச் சந்தடியை அலட்சியம் பண்ணுகிறது; ஓட்டுகிறவனுடைய சத்தத்தை அது கேட்பதில்லை.

He dispisith the multitude of citee; he herith not the cry of an axere.

8 அது மலைகளைத் தனது மேய்ச்சலிடமாக்குகிறது; அங்கு பச்சைத் தாவரங்களைத் தேடி அலைகிறது.

He lokith aboute the hillis of his lesewe, and he sekith alle greene thingis.

9 “காட்டெருது உனக்கு சேவைசெய்ய சம்மதிக்குமோ? அது உனது தொழுவத்தில் இரவைக் கழிக்குமோ?

Whether an vnycorn schal wilne serue thee, ethir schal dwelle at thi cratche?

10 காட்டெருதுக்கு மூக்கணாங்கயிறு போட்டு, அதை உன்னால் உழமுடியுமோ? அது உனக்குப்பின் உழுதுகொண்டு வருமோ?

Whether thou schalt bynde the vnicorn with thi chayne, for to ere, ethir schal he breke the clottis of valeis aftir thee?

11 அதின் மிகுந்த பலத்தை நம்பி, உன் கடின வேலைகளை அதனிடம் விட்டுவிடுவாயோ?

Whether thou schalt haue trist in his grete strengthe, and schalt thou leeue to hym thi traueils?

12 அது கதிர்க்கட்டுகளைச் சேர்த்து, சூடடிக்கும் களத்தில் கொண்டுவந்து சேர்க்கும் என்று நீ அதை நம்புவாயோ?

Whether thou schalt bileue to hym, that he schal yelde seed to thee, and schal gadere togidere thi cornfloor?

13 “தீக்கோழி தன் சிறகுகளைச் சந்தோஷத்தோடு விரித்தாலும், நாரையின் சிறகுகளுடனும் சிறகுகளுடனும் அதை ஒப்பிட முடியாது.

The fethere of an ostriche is lijk the fetheris of a gerfawcun, and of an hauk;

14 தீக்கோழி தரையில் முட்டைகளை இட்டு, மணலிலே அவற்றைச் சூடாகும்படி விட்டுவிடுகிறது.

which ostrige forsakith hise eirun in the erthe, in hap thou schalt make tho hoot in the dust.

15 முட்டைகள் கால்கள்பட்டு நசுங்கிவிடும் என்றோ, காட்டு மிருகங்கள் அவற்றை மிதித்துவிடும் என்றோ அது எண்ணுகிறதில்லை.

He foryetith, that a foot tredith tho, ethir that a beeste of the feeld al tobrekith tho.

16 அது தன் குஞ்சுகளைத் தன்னுடையது அல்லாததுபோல் கடுமையாக நடத்தும்; அதின் பிரயாசம் வீணாய் போகிறதென்றும் அது கவலைப்படுவதில்லை.

He is maad hard to hise briddis, as if thei ben not hise; he traueilide in veyn, while no drede constreynede.

17 ஏனெனில், இறைவன் அதற்கு ஞானத்தை கொடுக்கவில்லை; நல்லுணர்வையும் கொடுக்கவில்லை.

For God hath priued hym fro wisdom, and `yaf not vnderstondyng to hym.

18 ஆனாலும் அது ஓடுவதற்கு தன் செட்டைகளை விரிக்கின்றபோது, குதிரையையும் அதில் சவாரி செய்பவனையும் அலட்சியம் பண்ணுகிறது.

Whanne tyme is, he reisith the wengis an hiy; he scorneth the hors, and his ridere.

19 “குதிரைக்கு அதின் பலத்தை நீ கொடுக்கிறாயோ? அதின் கழுத்தைப் பிடரிமயிரினால் மூடியது நீயோ?

Whether thou schalt yyue strengthe to an hors, ether schal yyue neiyng `aboute his necke?

20 நீ குதிரையை வெட்டுக்கிளியைப்போல் பாயப்பண்ணி, அதின் பெருமையான மூச்சுடன் பயங்கரமூட்டப் பண்ணுகிறாயோ?

Whether thou schalt reyse hym as locustis? The glorie of hise nosethirlis is drede.

21 அது தன் பெலத்தில் மகிழ்ச்சியடைந்து, தூசியைக் கிளப்பிக்கொண்டு போர்க்களத்திற்குப் பாய்ந்து செல்கிறது.

He diggith erthe with the foot, he `fulli ioieth booldli; he goith ayens armed men.

22 அது பயத்தைக்கண்டு சிரிக்கிறது; ஒன்றுக்கும் கலங்குவதில்லை. அது வாளுக்குப் பயந்து பின்வாங்குவதில்லை.

He dispisith ferdfulnesse, and he yyueth not stide to swerd.

23 மினுமினுக்கும் வேலுடனும் ஈட்டியுடனும் அம்புக்கூடு அதனுடைய இடுப்பில் கலகலக்கிறது.

An arowe caas schal sowne on hym; a spere and scheeld schal florische.

24 அது உணர்ச்சிவசப்பட்டுப் பதற்றத்துடன் தரையில் விரைந்து செல்கிறது; எக்காள சத்தம் கேட்கும்போது, அதினால் அமைதியாய் நிற்கமுடியாது.

He is hoot, and gnastith, and swolewith the erthe; and he arettith not that the crie of the trumpe sowneth.

25 எக்காள முழக்கம் கேட்கும்போது, அது கனைத்து ஆரவாரிக்கும் அது போர்க்களத்தையும், படைத் தலைவர்களின் கூக்குரலையும் தூரத்திலிருந்தே மோப்பம் பிடித்து அறிகிறது.

Whanne he herith a clarioun, he `seith, Joie! he smellith batel afer; the excityng of duykis, and the yellyng of the oost.

26 “பருந்து உயரப் பறப்பதும், தெற்கு நோக்கித் தன் சிறகுகளை விரிப்பதும் உன் ஞானத்தினாலேயோ?

Whether an hauk spredinge abrood hise wyngis to the south, bigynneth to haue fetheris bi thi wisdom?

27 கழுகு மேலே போய் உயரத்தில் தன் கூட்டைக் கட்டுவது உனது கட்டளையினாலேயோ?

Whether an egle schal be reisid at thi comaundement, and schal sette his nest in hiy places?

28 அது இரவில் கற்பாறைகளின் வெடிப்புகளில் தங்குகிறது; செங்குத்தான பாறைகளே அதின் பாதுகாப்பிடம்.

He dwellith in stoonys, and he dwellith in flyntis brokun bifor, and in rochis, to whiche `me may not neiye.

29 அங்கிருந்து அது தனது உணவைப் பார்க்கும்; அதின் கண்கள் தொலைவிலிருக்கும் உணவைக் கண்டுகொள்ளும்.

Fro thennus he biholdith mete, and hise iyen loken fro fer.

30 அதின் குஞ்சுள் இரத்தத்தை உண்டு மகிழும்; இறந்த உடல்கள் எங்கேயோ அங்கேயே கழுகும் இருக்கும்.”

Hise briddis souken blood, and where euere a careyn is, anoon he is present.
