யோபு 33
1 “யோபுவே, என் வார்த்தைகளுக்குச் செவிகொடும்; நான் சொல்வதைக் கவனியும்.
Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.
2 இப்பொழுது நான் பேசப் போகிறேன்; என் வார்த்தைகள் என் நாவின் நுனியில் இருக்கின்றன.
Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.
3 என் வார்த்தைகள் நேர்மையான இருதயத்திலிருந்து வெளிவருகின்றன; நான் அறிந்தவற்றை என் உதடுகள் உண்மையாய்ப் பேசுகின்றன.
My words [shall be of] the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.
4 இறைவனின் ஆவியானவரே என்னைப் படைத்தார்; எல்லாம் வல்லவரின் சுவாசமே எனக்கு உயிரைத் தருகிறது.
The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
5 உம்மால் முடியுமானால் எனக்குப் பதில் கூறும்; என்னோடு வாதாட உம்மை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தும்.
If thou canst answer me, set [thy words] in order before me, stand up.
6 இறைவனுக்கு முன்பாக நானும் உம்மைப் போன்றவன்தான்; நானும் மண்ணிலிருந்தே உருவாக்கப்பட்டேன்.
Behold, I [am] according to thy wish in God’s stead: I also am formed out of the clay.
7 என்னைப்பற்றிய பயத்தினால் நீர் கலங்க வேண்டியதில்லை, என் கையும் உம்மேல் பாரமாயிருக்காது.
Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.
8 “என் காது கேட்க நீ பேசியிருக்கிறாய்; நான் கேட்க, உன் வார்த்தைகளினாலேயே இப்படிக் கூறினாய்:
Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of [thy] words, [saying],
9 ‘நான் தூய்மையானவன், குற்றமற்றவன், நான் சுத்தமானவன், பாவமற்றவன்.
I am clean without transgression, I [am] innocent; neither [is there] iniquity in me.
10 இருந்தும் இறைவன் என்னிடம் குற்றம் கண்டிருக்கிறார்; என்னைத் தம் பகைவனாக எண்ணுகிறார்.
Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,
11 அவர் என் கால்களை விலங்குகளில் மாட்டுகிறார்; என் வழிகளையெல்லாம் கூர்ந்து கவனித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்.’
He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.
12 “ஆனால் நான் உமக்குச் சொல்கிறேன், இதில் நீர் சொன்னது சரியல்ல, ஏனெனில் இறைவன் மனிதனைவிட மிகவும் பெரியவர்.
Behold, [in] this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.
13 அவர் மனிதனுடைய கேள்விகள் எதற்குமே பதிலளிக்கவில்லை என நீர் ஏன் முறையிடுகிறீர்?
Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.
14 மனிதர்கள் புரிந்துகொள்ளாவிட்டாலும், இறைவன் ஒருவிதமாகவும், இன்னொரு விதமாகவும் பேசுகிறார்.
For God speaketh once, yea twice, [yet man] perceiveth it not.
15 மனிதர் படுத்திருக்கையில், ஆழ்ந்த நித்திரையிலும், கனவிலும், இரவு தரிசனத்திலும் அவர் பேசுகிறார்.
In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
16 அவர் மனிதர்களின் காதுகளில் பேசி, தம்முடைய எச்சரிப்புகளினால் அவர்களைத் திகிலூட்டக்கூடும்.
Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
17 பிழை செய்வதிலிருந்து மனிதரை விலக்கவும், தற்பெருமையை தடுக்கவுமே இவ்வாறு செய்கிறார்.
That he may withdraw man [from his] purpose, and hide pride from man.
18 மனிதருடைய ஆத்துமா பிரேதக்குழியில் விழாதபடியும், அவர்களுடைய உயிர் வாளால் அழியாதபடியும் காப்பாற்றுகிறார்.
He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
19 “அல்லது மனிதர்கள் தங்கள் எலும்புகளில் உண்டான தொடர்ச்சியான நோவுடன் படுக்கையிலேயே தண்டிக்கப்படக் கூடும்.
He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong [pain: ]
20 அப்பொழுது அவர்களுடைய உள்ளம் உணவையும், சுவையான உணவையும் வெறுக்கிறது.
So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.
21 அவர்களுடைய சதை முழுவதும் அழிந்து, முன்பு மறைந்திருந்த எலும்புகள் வெளியே தெரிகின்றன.
His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones [that] were not seen stick out.
22 அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமா பிரேதக் குழியையும், அவர்களுடைய உயிர் மரண தூதுவர்களையும் நெருங்குகிறது.
Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.
23 ஆனாலும் ஆயிரத்தில் ஒருவனான தூதன் ஒருவன் அவர்கள் பக்கத்திலிருந்து, அவர்களுக்காகப் பரிந்துபேசி, அவர்களுக்கு சரியானவற்றைச் சொல்லிக்கொடுத்து,
If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:
24 அவர்களுக்குக் கிருபைகாட்டி, ‘நான் அவர்களுக்கு மீட்கும் பொருளைக் கண்டுபிடித்தேன். ஆகவே இவர்களைக் குழிக்குள் போவதிலிருந்து தப்பவிடும்’ என்று சொல்வானாகில்,
Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.
25 அவர்களின் உடல் குழந்தையின் உடலைப்போல் புதிதாகும், அவர்கள் வாலிப நாட்களில் இருந்ததுபோல் மாற்றப்படுவார்கள்.
His flesh shall be fresher than a child’s: he shall return to the days of his youth:
26 அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் இறைவனை நோக்கி மன்றாடி, அவரிடமிருந்து தயவு பெறுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் இறைவனுடைய முகத்தைக் கண்டு மகிழ்வார்கள், இறைவன் அவர்களுடைய நீதியின் நிலையிலேயே திரும்பவும் வைக்கிறார்.
He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
27 அவர்கள் மற்றவர்களைப் பார்த்து: ‘நான் பாவம் செய்து, நியாயத்தைப் புரட்டினேன், செய்ததற்குத் தகுந்த தண்டனையை நான் பெறவில்லை.
He looketh upon men, and [if any] say, I have sinned, and perverted [that which was] right, and it profited me not;
28 பிரேதக் குழிக்குள் போகாமல் என் ஆத்துமாவை இறைவனே மீட்டுக்கொண்டார்; நானும் ஒளியை அனுபவித்து சந்தோஷமாய் வாழ்வேன்.’
He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
29 “இறைவன் இவற்றையெல்லாம் மனிதருக்கு இரண்டு முறைகள், ஏன், மூன்று முறைகள் திரும்பத் திரும்பச் செய்கிறார்.
Lo, all these [things] worketh God oftentimes with man,
30 குழியிலிருந்த அவர்களுடைய ஆத்துமாவை, வாழ்வின் ஒளியால் பிரகாசிக்கச் செய்கிறார்.
To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.
31 “யோபுவே, நான் சொல்வதைக் கவனமாய்க் கேளும்; மவுனமாய் இரும், நான் பேசுவேன்.
Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.
32 அதின்பின் ஏதாவது சொல்ல இருந்தால் எனக்குப் பதில் கூறும்; தயங்காமல் பேசும், உம்மை நீதிமானாக நிரூபிக்க நான் விரும்புகிறேன்.
If thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.
33 அப்படியில்லாவிட்டால், மவுனமாய் இருந்து நான் சொல்வதைக் கேளும். நான் உமக்கு ஞானத்தைப் போதிப்பேன்.”
If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.
