யோபு 32

1 யோபு தன் பார்வைக்கு நீதிமானாயிருந்ததினால், அந்த மூன்று நண்பர்களும் யோபுவுக்கு பதில் சொல்வதை நிறுத்திக்கொண்டார்கள்.

Forsothe these thre men leften of to answere Joob, for he semyde a iust man to hem.

2 ஆனால் ராமின் குடும்பத்தைச் சேர்ந்த பூசியனான பரகெயேலின் மகன் எலிகூவுக்குக் கோபமூண்டது; ஏனெனில், யோபு இறைவன் நேர்மையானவர் என்று சொல்வதைவிட, தன்னைத்தானே நேர்மையானவன் என்று சொன்னான்.

And Helyu, the sone of Barachel Buzites, of the kynrede of Ram, was wrooth, and hadde indignacioun; forsothe he was wrooth ayens Joob, for he seide hym silf to be iust bifor God.

3 அத்துடன் யோபுவுக்கு அவனுடைய மூன்று நண்பர்கள் மேலும் கோபம் மூண்டது; ஏனெனில், அவர்கள் யோபுவின் தவறை நிரூபிக்க தகுந்த வழியில்லாமல், அவனைக் கண்டனம் செய்தார்கள்.

Sotheli Helyu hadde indignacioun ayens the thre frendis of hym, for thei hadden not founde resonable answere, but oneli hadde condempned Joob.

4 எலிகூ யோபுவுடன் பேசுவதற்கு இதுவரையும் காத்திருந்தான்; ஏனெனில் அவர்கள் எல்லோரும் எலிகூவைவிட வயதில் மூத்தவர்கள்.

Therfor Helyu abood Joob spekynge, for thei, that spaken, weren eldere men.

5 ஆனாலும் அந்த மூன்று மனிதரும் மேலும் எதையும் சொல்ல முடியாததைக் கண்ட எலிகூவுக்குக் கோபமூண்டது.

But whanne he hadde seyn, that thre men myyten not answere, he was wrooth greetly.

6 எனவே பூசியனான பரகெயேலின் மகன் எலிகூ பேசத் தொடங்கினான்: “நான் வயதில் இளையவன், நீங்களோ முதியவர்கள்; அதினால் நான் அறிந்ததைத் துணிந்து சொல்லப் பயந்திருந்தேன்.

And Helyu, the sone of Barachel Buzites, answeride, and seyde, Y am yongere in tyme, sotheli ye ben eldere; therfor with heed holdun doun Y dredde to schewe to you my sentence.

7 ‘முதியோர் பேசட்டும், வயது சென்றவர்கள் ஞானத்தைப் போதிக்கட்டும்’ என எண்ணியிருந்தேன்.

8 மனிதரில் இருக்கும் ஆவியாகிய எல்லாம் வல்லவரின் சுவாசமே அவனுக்கு அறிவாற்றலைக் கொடுக்கிறது.

9 முதியோர் மட்டுமே ஞானிகளல்ல; வயதானவர்கள் மட்டுமே சரியானதை அறிந்தவர்களுமல்ல.

10 “ஆகவே, நான் சொல்கிறேன்: எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்; எனக்குத் தெரிந்ததை நானும் சொல்வேன்.

Therfor Y schal seie, Here ye me, and Y also schal schewe my kunnyng to you.

11 நீங்கள் பேசிமுடியுமட்டும் நான் காத்திருந்து, உங்கள் காரணத்தை நான் பொறுத்திருந்து, உங்களுடைய வாதங்களுக்கு நான் செவிகொடுத்தேன்.

For Y abood youre wordis, Y herde youre prudence, as long as ye dispuytiden in youre wordis.

12 நான் உங்கள் சொல்லைக் கவனமாய்க் கேட்டேன். ஆனால் உங்களில் ஒருவராகிலும் யோபு பிழையானவன் என நிரூபிக்கவில்லை; அவனுடைய வாதங்களுக்குப் பதில் சொல்லவுமில்லை.

And as long as Y gesside you to seie ony thing, Y bihelde; but as Y se, `noon is of you, that may repreue Joob, and answere to hise wordis;

13 ‘ஞானத்தைக் கண்டுகொண்டோம்; அவனுடைய பிழையை மனிதன் அல்ல, இறைவனே நிரூபிக்கட்டும்’ என்று நீங்கள் சொல்லவேண்டாம்.

lest perauenture ye seien, We han founde wisdom; God, and not man, hath cast hym awei.

14 யோபு என்னோடு வாதாடவில்லை, நானும் உங்களின் வாதங்களைக்கொண்டு அவருக்குப் பதிலளிக்கமாட்டேன்.

Joob spak no thing to me, and Y not bi youre wordis schal answere hym.

15 “அவர்கள் மனங்கலங்கி மேலும் எதுவும் சொல்ல முடியாதிருக்கிறார்கள்; அவர்களுக்கு வார்த்தைகள் கிடைக்கவில்லை.

Thei dredden, and answeriden no more, and token awei speche fro hem silf.

16 இப்பொழுது அவர்கள் மவுனமாகி ஒரு பதிலும் அளிக்க முடியாதிருக்கையில், நான் பொறுத்திருக்க வேண்டுமோ?

Therfor for Y abood, and thei spaken not, thei stoden, and answeriden no more; also Y schal answere my part,

17 இப்பொழுது நானும் பேசியே தீருவேன்; நானும் எனக்குத் தெரிந்ததைச் சொல்வேன்.

and Y schal schewe my kunnyng.

18 பேசுவதற்கு என்னிடம் அதிக வார்த்தைகள் உண்டு, எனக்குள்ளிருக்கும் ஆவி என்னைப் பேசத் தூண்டுகிறது;

For Y am ful of wordis, and the spirit of my wombe, `that is, mynde, constreyneth me.

19 என் உள்ளம், தோல் குடுவையின் திராட்சரசத்தைப்போலவும், வெடிக்கப்போகும் புதுத் தோல் குடுவையைப் போலவும் இருக்கிறது.

Lo! my wombe is as must with out `spigot, ether a ventyng, that brekith newe vessels.

20 நான் பேசி ஆறுதலடைய வேண்டும்; என் உதடுகளைத் திறந்து பதிலளிக்க வேண்டும்.

Y schal speke, and brethe ayen a litil; Y schal opene my lippis, and Y schal answere.

21 நான் யாருக்கும் பட்சபாதம் காட்டவோ, எந்த மனிதனுக்கும் முகஸ்துதி செய்யவோ மாட்டேன்.

Y schal not take the persoone of man, and Y schal not make God euene to man.

22 நான் முகஸ்துதியில் திறமையுள்ளவனாய் இருந்தால், என்னைப் படைத்தவர் விரைவில் என்னை எடுத்துக்கொள்வாராக.

For Y woot not hou long Y schal abide, and if my Makere take me awei `after a litil tyme.
